  1. So, I FINALLY finished the whole guide, installed everything and just wanted to run a test. Didnt get far... I started a new game, and the Character Creation Menu opens. The problem is, I got a weird graphic glitch: the menu only shows the eyes of the character, nothing else. Did anyone else experience this problem?
  2. wil there be any problems if my skyrim is installed in another language than english?
  3. I know I already asked this question in th S.T.E.P. vs SR:LE, but i didnt get any answer yet, so I thought to try it again here. I really would like to know: what were the different ambitions behind Skyrim Revisited (SR) and Skyrim Revisited - Legendary Edition (SR:LE)? I'm sure this was discussed already somewhere but i couldnt find it, sorry :( At first I thought: "of course, SR-LE is "just" an updated Version of SR" But when I looked a little closer, i saw that not even half of the Mods were the same in these two guides. even though they are (almost) built on the same foundation (Skyrim + all DLC's). At first glance it seemed to me that SR has more Mods in common with STEP whereas SR:LE just uses the same base setup but then chooses quite different options. I'm following the SR:LE (and after 7 days have reached point 4.6.3, Yaay!) because, obviously, i recently decided to get me the legendary edition after almost 2 years not playing Skyrim at all. But there are many mods on the SR-Guide that also look interesting (Ultra-realistic Bow Shoot Sounds, etc.) and I didn't find any clues as on why they have been kept out of the SR:LE Guide. Was this documented somewhere? If somebody could clear things up for me (or smack me with a link to the post where this was already discussed) I would be extremely grateful! and btw: any ideas to post #4844 ?
  4. Thank you so much for the quick reply! I will follow your advice, but I thought that mods and plugins actually were more or less the same (except for archives), and that the mods in the left pane were just showing the load order of the corresponding plugins. But from your answer it sounds more like the plugin load order and the mod load order can be completely different?
  5. I wanted to ask a question about the archives tab in MO. If the box "Let MO handle archives" is checked, this means that plugins will be loaded according to the Mod list in the left pane, right? If the box is unchecked, plugins will be loaded according to the plugin list on the right pane. In the SR-LE guide it says to keep the box checked, and also to run boss every time I add a mod that contains esp or esm files. Now, here's what I dont understand: If I run BOSS via MO, it only sorts the plugins on the right pane and not the mod order on the left pane. But if the above box is checked and the mods will be loaded according to the mod list (left pane), so the Boss sorting doesn't have any effect. So does this mean I have to change my mod order on the left pane according to the BOSS results? But then why is it so important in which order I install all the mods?
  6. I have a question concerning the language settings in skyrim. On the last holiday sale I bought the Skyrim LE, because I didn't play Skyrim for almost 2 years and also didn't have the DLC's yet. I wanted to create a STEP-profile but then I found Neo's great guide, and thought "man, this looks even better". So i made a clean installation, set up all the tools and am now more or less halfway through the guide. But now I was thinking that maybe it could be a problem that my game was automatically installed in German. Steam doesnt ask in which language you want it installed, but just chooses the language of your country automatically. So I didnt think about this problem at all... I'm asking myself what the effects would be, if I leave the language setup like this. Would the game basically be in German, with only the additional content (like Lost Library, Falskaar, etc.) in english (which would be fine by me!), or will there be massive bugs, CTD's and the like? If now I would download and install the english language pack (in the middle of my mod setup), would it change essential aspects of the already modded setup? I would love to avoid having to repeat all the work of the last days  As I understand it MO doesn't really change the Vanilla game files, so I was hoping that changing the language during the mod setup could be possible. Would it help if I set the language to english only in the skyrim.ini of the Skyrim Revisited profile? Does somebody here has experience with this problem, or maybe even plays Skyrim Revisited in another language? If not, maybe someone at least can make a more educated guess than me?
  7. So, i know this is maybe not the perfect place for this question, but i really would like to know what the different ambitions are behind Skyrim Revisited (SR) and Skyrim Revisited - Legendary Edition (SR-LE)? I'm sure this was discussed already somewhere but i couldnt find it, sorry :( The thing is at first I thought: "of course, the only difference is that SR-LE is like an updated Version of SR" But when I looke a little closer, i saw that not even half of the Mods were the same in these two guides. even if they (almost) built on the same foundation. It seems to me that SR has more Mods in common with STEP whereas SR-LE just uses the same base setup but then chooses quite different options. I'm following the SR-LE (and after 4 days have reached point 4.4.2, Yaay!) because, duh, i recently decided to get me the legendary edition after almost 2 years not playing Skyrim at all. But there are some mods on the SR-Guide that also look interesting and I didn't find any clues as on why they have been kept out of the SR-LE Guide. If somebody could clear things up for me (or smack me with a link to the post where this was already discussed) I would be extremely grateful!
  8. Which setting do I use in the Behave Menu of DDSOpt for the Color Maps? g^1.0, g^1.8, g^2.2...? the picture in the guide is missing for this setting: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:DDSopt Another question: In the Step Guide section with the INI-Tweaks, it says to add the following line to the Skyrim.ini: [Display][...] iPresentInterval=1 ;This line needs to be manually added, as it is misplaced into SkyrimPrefs.ini by Skyrim! - REQUIRED by ENBoostBut this line doesnt show up in the SR-LE Guide. So i DONT need to write it in the Skyrim.ini?
