  1. Edit: After some more tweaking. I played for about 20 min before CTD :) Im amazed by the utilization of my cpu, its a lot better than what I'd expect. With same enb settings except for DOF I'v now come close to avrg 35 FPS.
  2. I dont know what Experimental Safe mode is :P So no to that... Fps not playable by far, around 26 fps 20 min 30 max. I thought the game would crash once its reached 3,1 GB ram usage. I played with 3.6-7. This was my first run after installing 224 esp's and I'm surprised that it went so well :) Got loads of tweaking to do, but still I dont think I will be able to play Skyrim at 3840x2160 :( I'll change to ugrids 5 and see how stable it comes but I think Ill lower the resolution before lowering view distances etc .
  3. Hi. Thought I'd share my benchmark results from skyrim performance monitor. Though the software is lacking and I'd like to use AfterBurner instead but cant with ENB. PC SPEC: i7 5930K 4,7GHZ GTX TITAN SLI DDR 4 3000HZ 16GB SSD Raid 0 3xSamsung evo 840. Skyrim Setup: RealVision ENB STEP Core + Extended + a few other texture mods Climates of Tamriel Ugrid 7 Game ctd once in the middle and once at the end when the test ended. Ran from the exit of helgen cave almost down to Giant that attacks the Companions Ran a lot longer than I'd expect it to with this settings and such high ram usage.

  5. Hi. Was wondering if any one knew what the max vaules for the fLODFadeOutMult would be with ugrids set to 5. Ultra preset vanilla is 15 and I dont think that covers the extent of all the cells that ugrid 5 loades. If no one knows Ill test it and post my results her.Â
  6. Hi. Light spread on textures objects from torches etc, gets instantly stronger whene i get within a certain range. I also just noticed that if i look away from the torch standing far away ,so that its at the edge of my screen its working normally. So looking at the torch makes me loose the proper lighting around the torch :/ very weird. I have tested different ini settings but as the light acts normal whene I am looking away from it i think i can confirm that its not Ini releated. Â
  7. Hi. I wrote saveini in skyrims command window to creat an ini file containing every tweak that is supported by skyrim engine. (alteast i think it is)  And in the list under water i found  bReflectSky=1 bReflectLODTrees=1 bReflectLODObjects=1 bReflectLODLand=1 Many say add this lines to the skyrimprefs to get better reflections. Now i dont think that will make any difference as they seem to be in use allready (=1) with Ultra vanilla setting. Just to be sure i took 3 screenshots with and without those added to the ini and no difference. There are many more water tweaks that are not enabled by default ultra ini and I will test this out. And was hoping that some of you knew how Nvidia makes there comparison pictures, where you can drag a line to compare.   8. The dont update game automaticly did not work for me :( Though i stopped it quiet fast and using SKSE its not a problem Can any one with a heavy modded skyrim confirm if it stil works after the update? Atleast half decent
  9. Whats said is that it is no longer compatible with light end FX. I kno RLO has done a lot improvment towards some of the same things light FX dos but not nearly good enough to replace it.
  10. Hi. Not sure this is the right place to post as its not a suggestion towards a mod i know exists. Any way. When dragons die, the flakes that elevates before its engulf'd in fire dosn't look very good.  We need a retexture for that.Â
  11. I have played with this Mod since it came out and I cant imagine playing without it and its best element the new skill tree. The new skill tree allows for a lot more feeling towards your characters way of life. A few things: With archery you can choose between short long and crossbow. Aswell as the option to make stronger bolts and arrows, hence enchant theme. Its awsome :P My friend that I play togehter with loves the wayfare tree with its tracking and friendly abilitlies for his hunter style. The stones are also redone and most of theme to my liking, well balanced aswell. Daedra artifacts have some new enchantments that i dont quit like. But i reverted it back to the old effects using daedric dissenchanting mod. The skyproc java patcher works like a charm aswell, balancing new weapons and armore mods. Exept a small problem with Artifact Dissenchanting. Not sure if its a part of step but Ill menchen it anyway. The mod allows for dissenchanting of special rare artifacts as dawnbraker. But it also with skyre, reverts back to the old damage and effects of the blade. The effect part is ok, but reverting the base damage renders the blade useless with its low damage. To fix it i simply disabled the Artifact Dissenchanting mod, ran the skyproc java patch than re-enabled the artifact mod.
  12. I well agree with upon the price performance. The 7970 is an increadible card in it self and with the cheap price tag it makes for the best gaming card without doubt. Now titan as nvidia has stated many times, "Titan is a enthusiast gpu card" And i bet they say this becuse it is an expensive card aswell as its not a good card for the money. But its a hell of a card and in my view money well worth. I cannot use amd duo to having an nvidia 3d monitor, aswell as i perfer nvidias Drivers over amd's. Titan is also the strongest gpu available and with its 6gb. So no scaling issues. But dont mistake me, Im not saying SLI crossfire dosnt work good becuse it dos, but its not 100%.
  13. Hi. It was said earlier in this post that the vram would affect the stability of ugridstoload 7-13. I have the Geforce Titan with its 6gb the max settings i can go with is 7 but its unstable. Tried 9 but that results in the game being stuck during loading a saved game. Im running with a manually merged texture meshes pack, collected from all the mods included in the tex pack combiner + a few others. I messured max vram to 5.2 GB at 5760x1080 resolution

I have the Titan geforce and its damn'd good :D Skyrim extreme texture pack handmade by 80 texture meshes mods. ENB series sharpshooter Realistic Lighting FX realistic lighting overhaul Hige/ultra tweaked ini settings 8AA Ugrid 5 Resolution: 5760x1080 As i still cant play skyrim the way i want to i have orderd a second titan :D This will also enable me to play in Surround Semi 3D. 3D on 1 monitor the center ofc, and 2D on the sides. Works like a charm in most games, skyrim included.Â
  15. Did a small test with some ini settings. And it actually seemed a lot smoother. As you can see in HW info each thread has been used. Avrage usage isn't so hige but the max usage is quait hige. So Skyrim at certain points have utilized theme. I will do some benchtests with and without the ini tweakes and post the results.Â
  16. Let me refrase. Did you guys find any ini tweake to increas performance? Other than lowering quality ofc. Like disabling multithread, force skyrim to use 2 cores, etc? I just did a test with some cpu tweaks.   17. You mean the memory and cpu multicore tweakes i havent seen any performance gain with theme but havent had the time to test properly ither. Will do that today. About the distances they are ok? I'm also curious about the water tweakes i added, can any one confirm that this are good? Yeah i did a test last nite with the ugrids values, i will revert back to 5 with normal values. Any one who has a good optimized ini feel with working ini tweaks? There seems to be so much jibberish tweakes out there so its hard to find out which onces really work. And with all the customization out there for skyrim it makes it very hard to determin the ini tweaked effects as other mods could be interfering. Thanks for your answears.
  18. Guys did you figure out wheater or not the multicore ini tweaks had any impact? Tomorrow i will test skyrim with multithreading disabled and enabled. I would really like to get a better use of my cpu in skyrim. The performance monitor says i have tweakes to enable Im asuming those are they tweaks you guys tested in the first place? i7 3770k @4,8 GHZ Titan Z77 Sabertooth
  19. Hi. I was hoping someone could just see over my ini settings,i have gatherd settings from many others around the net and hopefully got a good tweaked ini. I got some settings that was supposed to help utilizing several cores bette,r but as far as i can tell it did not help. I also got some very hige values on some settings. I got theme from a website who claims to have tested each settings and found the max values for the settings of which it no longer have an effect. My Shadows arent good ither. Iv been messing around with shadow INI settings and ENB's all day. Earlier i had crystal sharp shadows but they are gone now :P forgot to back it up. I know that distant etc impacts the sharpness, I'v fiddeld a lot with the shadows. Some dude said that iBlurDeferredShadowMask had to be set to 0 to fix striping on walls. Thats not how i fixed it, I increased the lod Shadow distance settings. 1 site i got some settings from had the same settings added in both the ini files so i did aswell as Im not 100% certain thats its not needed?   20. I know that the skyrim engine is poorley done, espesially with the shadows being done by the cpu. And there is a certain limit like the 3,1GB. Guess we have to do our best with filling out this limit the best way we can.
  21. Yeah agreed, but that would be without playable FPS or 2 Titans SLI. Getting my second titan soon. Whene i do i will up the settings more and see if i cant reach it.
  22. Problem with Vram i dont think it is. I'm having the same problem with Titan 6GB. During my tests with titan skyrim used 5,2GB :P I can use ugrid 7 and its stabil and below 3.1GB memory, but with ugrid 9 the game just gets stuck loading loadingscreens whene trying to load my saved game. https://i.imgur.com/kohzem4.jpg
  23. Im playing at 5760x1080 and made my own texture pack from all the mods included in the texture combiner pack + a few others. In total about 80 texture mods with 2 and 4k. I merged theme manually using the best quality textures and meshes. After reciving my titan i did a bench test with 8AA and ENB sharpshooter + other stuff. And Vram usage was messured to 5,2GB xD Though FPS is unplayable with AA8 and the ini settings i used. Im new to this forum and though I'd introduce my self and my skyrim project aswell as post my problems i have encounterd. Go to the bottom to read my problems, need help with explaining shadows, ugrid problems and the mystery of the 3,2 gb memory limit :P Introduction: Im a skyrim enthusiast and want to get the best out of the skyrim, pushing it to its limits. My goal is to make skyrim as beautifull as possible. Becuse i love to play the game, i have a strong computer capable of doing so. But also becuse i have an assigment to make a new music video for Miracle of sound's sovengard song. And this song deservs the very best. My pc build and gaming setupZ77Sabertooth Nvidia GTX Titan Intel I7 3770K@5Ghz Corsair Vengeance 1866 MHZ 16GB Im currently playing on 3 monitors @ 5760x1080. Want to play with semi 3D. 3D on the senter monitor only. I got a game buttkicker that makes my spine rumble everytime a dragon flys by and shouts. Mods:Realistic lighting Overhaul Enhanced lights and FX Climates of tamriel Water 1.6 ENB Skyrealism Vibrant. This is the only enb iv tested so far that dosnt overbloom things into a fake fantasy world. Texture pack: I gatherd all the mods from the Texture pack combiner pluss a few others and manually picked out the best tex and mesh from each. I am very happy with the result :D I can try to find the SRO link i used to download with if any one wants it Skyrim Titan benchtest: If anny one is intrestedAfter i got my Titan i did some testing and her's a little graph showing the results of my modded skyrim. As you can see skyrim used 5,2 GB Vram :P Wich is exactly why i bought titan. With the same settings with my GTX 680 4GB the game crashed wheneever it went above 4gb Vram. Atleast I'm pretty sure that the vram was the issue as its no longer there with Titans 6GB I tested it quit thoroughly. The fps during the test was unplayable but this was with the sharpshooter and 8AA With AA=0, 3D off and lowerd Ini settings i can play at 40-50 Fps @ 5760x1080 with the mods listed above.  Goal:My goal is to be able to play the game @ 60 fps with Surround Semi 3D, AA 8 and hige tweaked ini settings. With all the other mods listed above. The 1 titan i have is damn good but its still not powerfull enough, so I have orderd a second titan. Should have it within a few weeks. Problems:Static waterfalls, water loosing its details and shadows. This are the only things left I am not happy with in skyrim.  Sadly there is no way to increas the distance before the lod shallow detail consumes the beautifull water and and makes waterfall static.  I was hoping that my powerfull PC build would allow me go higer with the Ugrid setting and thus getting better water distance but apperently not. 7 Ugrids seems to be my limit with my save game. I was able to start a new game with ugrids 9 and ran down to the riverwood without crashing, i can also load saved games that are within a house, but game crash as soon as i exit. With ugrids 9 it did not see any difference in the distance at which water is loaded. Hers a picture showing the ugly gray non reflectiv water in the distance. Is there any way of replacing the lod water with new textures? or any way to make waterfalls dynamic at distance? This rly sucks as skyrim looks increadibly beautifull. (picture is not representativ for my current modded skyrim) Shadows explainations neededfShadowLODMaxStartFade, its in my skyrim.ini? Is it the distance before shadows starts to fade to nothing, than it must be higer than the shadow distant. Should it not be in the prefs?   fShadowLODStartFad this is found in the prefs whats the difference between the 2? The iShadowMapResolutionPrimary are found in both the Skyrim and Prefs.ini, which one is being used or overrides the other? iShadowSplitCount. This is how many shadows an object can give off? iActorShadowCountInt. iActorShadowCountExt.  Ammount of shadows being renderd from npc's? iShadowMode?? I have it set to 5 iShadowMaskQuarter ? iShadowFilter ? Bdeferredshadows=1 it fixed issues with shadows in 3D , but cant see any difference with it on or off in skyrim without 3d. No fps impact ither.  Would be nice if we could put each shadow setting to tests and write a guide in a new post to cover what each setting acutally dos and how they affect eachother? Resume: So im not sure what to do at this point. With my titan its quit safe to say that it isnt the vram cusing the problem with ugrid 9-11 Thinking it might be something with the memory as skyrim apperently cant utilize more than 3,2GB. But im not sure as task manager shows skyrim at 2,2GB memory usage. I tried papyrus allow max located memory set to 4gb, didnt help. Any other mods you could suggest to make the game look better? I doubt theres anything more i can do with texture and meshes. And i think WATER is the best water mod out there? Hope to get to know some of you fellow skyrim graphical enthusiasts :D Â
