  1. Any tips for merging the patches that need heartfires extended as a master? I can't get the merged plugins standalone tool to load it up without erroring out. I am away from my computer but I remember that several of the patches require the STEP extended patch which in turn requires hearthfire extended. Relatedly, I am trying out the new modular patches with SRLE, SRLE explorer's edition, and a couple MMO packs. This means I have about 100 of the modular patches ticked. Any tips for merging these while staying under the 255 mod limit of the merge plugins tool? Should I merge in groups of 25 or so and then merge those intermediate ones into a final one?
  2. I haven't read through this yet, I just had read the information on the WAA page that you posted above. I agree that using the WAA attack speed fix should not be necessary according to the author. However, I have tested with and without it and the only way I can get normal speed NPC attacks is to disable Disparity's attack speed fix and add the separate WAA Attack speed esp. In my testing, I tried this with a new character each time to make sure there was nothing hanging around from prior settings. FYI, I am also running with Better Vampires. I have never run into an issue running Better Vampires and Disparity together. The first time I saw this issue pop up is when I added WAA to the mix.
  3. Great, thanks so much for finding the issue.
  4. One other note, in case this helps anyone else. When using Disparity (from Dovahkiin Reborn) and Weapon and Armor Attributes (from Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance) together, I had to download WAA's Attack Speed Fix optional file and disable Disparity's attack speed fix in the MCM menu. Otherwise enemies randomly get stuck with an insanely slow attack animation. Using Disparity's built-in attack speed fix by itself did not work.
  5. Thanks. In the meantime, I will run with the MLU patches unmerged until I need the extra esp slots. A few other things I noticed while going through the guide: The prebuilt STEP Extended Dovahkiin Reborn patch looks like it includes a 610 Thunderchild STEP Core and Extended patch. The only patch numbered 610 in the MMO directory is a Thunderchild - TTRSO patch. Is this Core and Extended patch needed? I ended up using the individual MMO numbered patches (except 610 since it included TTRSO) instead of the prebuilt patches but I can add this prebuilt patch back in if needed. The prebuilt Deleveled Loot Equipment Step patch includes a patch 400 CCOR 1.7 STEP patch that I don't see in the list of patches in the MMO patch directory. Is this needed? For Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance, I did not see a LOOT rule for the merged Combat Evolved file. I have temporarily placed it after Rebirth Monster.esp. I am planning on adding Deadly Combat after testing the base MMO install (unless a better combat overhaul mod is decided on). At that point, I will place the merged Combat Evolved file after Deadly Combat since I understand from the CE page that the order should be Rebirth Monster -> Deadly Combat (or other combat overhaul) -> Combat Evolved. Thanks again for all your work in maintaining the guide.
  6. I tried it without the MLU OBIS patch and the bandits had weapons as normal. Interestiingly enough, I used the unmerged MLU patches to test the OBIS issue. With the unmerged MLU patches, it works fine even with the OBIS patch included. Maybe it didn't like the MLU merge?
  7. It turns out my bashed patch is the issue. If I leave it out, the bandits have weapons as normal. If the bashed patch is included, about half of them have just fists. I guess something must be removing their weapons from the leveled lists but I don't know what yet. I will try rebuilding the bashed patch tomorrow with different weapon mods left out.
  8. I am using all the mods from Deleveled Loot except Scarcity, so that includes Jaysus Swords, Lore Weapon Expansion, Lost Longswords, Warmonger, etc. I haven't added any other mods yet so it's just SRLE and the three MMO packs: DL, SGR, DR. At first I thought that Loot and Degradation might have added tempered weapons that MLU removed, but running without L&D didn't seem to change anything (after rebuilding the bashed patch). I didn't have much time last night to do much debugging so hopefully I can learn some more tonight. Maybe enemies other than bandits have the issue too, but I don't know yet. The only other thing I have thought of is maybe my merged patch process was wrong. I merged all MLU numbered patches into 1 mod and merged all SRLE MMO patches into a second mod loaded right after. Thought I could save a bit of time later when I add my own set of mods that will need new MMO patches but not SRLE patches.
  9. First of all, thank you so much for all the work you've put into this overhaul. I love the modular nature of this. I am running SRLE and have added Deleveled Loot, SGR, and Dovahkiin Reborn on top. I have gone through the SRLE subguide and added all relevant patches (as far as I know). When testing it out, though, I noticed that most of the bandits in the White River Watch do not have weapons so they come at me with fists. I will do some more testing and debugging later tonight and will post a load order and mod list if I can't get anywhere. Any initial thoughts on the likely culprit?
  10. I know I'm late to the party, but I also have been having this problem for months and couldn't figure it out. I tried moving MO to different directories, repeatedly setting the file and folder properties to not Read Only, turned of UAC, etc. I have McAfee AV installed. Based on the posts about antivirus programs above, I added the ModOrganizer.ini and ModOrganizer.ini.new files to the exclusion list in the Real Time Protection section of McAfee and that solved it. Just in case this helps anyone else. Thanks for the tips about antivirus sw!
  11. Yes, thanks so much Neo! Getting back into Skyrim and your guide is amazing! Thanks for all the detail and upkeep you put into it.
