A reminder that Skyrim Performance Monitor works for FNV + MO + 4GB Patch too (and I am using F&LNV and TTW). I am not getting meaningful RAM, disk I/O and CPU usage, but for the GPU and VRAM usage it seems correct, and thus provides neatly presented, interesting monitoring information. I keep it running on a secondary monitor to see the graphs in real time. Skyrim Performance Monitor: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6491/? Article on making it work with FNV: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/49802/? STEP wiki page about making it work with MO and ENB: https://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Performance_Monitor My settings in Setup - File Paths: Skyrim INI File Path: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\ModOrganizer\profiles\TTW\fallout.ini Skyrim Main Program File Path: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\fnv4gb.exe Skyrim Launcher File Path: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\ModOrganizer\ModOrganizer.exe Export Viewer File Path: C:\Windows\System32\Notepad.exe Then you launch Skyrim Performance Monitor, click "Launch Skyrim", which opens MO, and from MO you launch FNV4GB.

I assume that many other people use F&LNV for a TTW installation, even if there are probably some other sources of information out there. I just recently saw that RoyBatty strongly recommends not to clean up the FNV .esms. Would you consider putting a short warning in the F&LNV guide about not cleaning the .esm if you install TTW, even if TTW isn't a focus of F&LNV, to make sure we skip that step? Comment from RoyBatty: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/7166-best-of-both-worlds-a-ttw-guide/ Place in the guide: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:EssArrBee/FalloutNewVegas#Clean_the_Bethesda_ESMs I'm not that far in a new installation, will restart it without cleaning the files just to be sure. Also, are you still looking for some kind of feedback for MO + F&LNV + TTW? Or is that useful somewhere else, if at all?

DROPPED High Quality 3D Map (by Ethatron)
Acheos replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Call me stupid, but I was confused by the wording on the STEP recommendations : My problem being that the "HQ3DMap - Normals Original" contains texture files (see filetree in MO). I think rewording the recommendations into something like "Do not download any of the extra texture files" would be less confusing. -
I fixed the crashing drivers using this post https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/764935/getting-the-nvidia-windows-kernel-mode-messageevery-5-minutes/ , for me it was the power management change that did it. Also confirming that the interface problem happened at other places and was indeed not linked to the TTW Interior Project (a mod that just rules by the way). I'm in the Mojave now, had no problems for the last few hours. I don't really get the 'alpha' status of TTW, but I suppose it's better to stay on the safe side and avoid giving people too high expectations. I'll hope that it remains as stable.

If I activate both the Willow and Flashlight NVSE mods, New Vegas won't even start. I found an old post by EssArrBee noticing that problem, and I saw that now both are included in the STEP guide, so I assume there is a solution. Do we know what caused it, and how to work around it? (setup info in signature) After trying out Willow it is clear I'll give it preference over the flashlights, and it's not a big problem, but I'd be glad not to have that kind of weird behavior and to understand it / be able to prevent it from happening in the future.

I'm playing TTW with MO right now, it's quite a blast, but my playthrough is only 10 hours long right now (+ some hours setting it up), so my feedback is only limited. I followed Fear and Loathing STEP guide and am using MO with LOOT. My load order and packages list are here: https://pastebin.com/2hA9XKBU The problems I had so far seem to be unrelated: Unknown source: - the UI has messed up three times: the bottom text from the cross-hair when you hover over something (name + weight + value) goes all the way up on the screen, with the name part outside of the area, leaving only the weight+value info, and the [empty] tag visible. I don't know yet how I'll tackle that one. I had to quit the game and reload a previous save. Strangely happened twice in the TTW Interior Project, and the third time it's near an outside place that might have been added by that too, but I really don't see how it could be related, so I'll wait and see. Unrelated: - Fake Fullscreen (nexus: 41381): once I couldn't launch the game anymore. Took me a while to figure out, until I found out that Fake Fullscreen was working alone as a process, which I ended. Apparently Fake Fullscreen was also the source of my drivers crashing and recovering when I exited containers or conversations (GTX285). Seems to work fine now that I start from just the 4GB Loader (I use the one from the nvse site) - Wrye Flash: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5891-no-more-bash-tags-and-bashed-patch/ (thank you so much to EssArrBee :D). That was during the mods installation though, not while playing. Aside from those problems with Fake Fullscreen earlier, no CTD so far.

No more bash tags and bashed patch
Acheos replied to Acheos's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Worked, thanks a lot. - Copying the 'Bashed patch, 0.esp' from template to the Data folder fixed the 'no bashed patch' problem. - still no bash tags in Wrye Flash, so I put them manually based on LOOT, and they seem to be sticking there - I'll see what happens the next time there's a new mod with a bash tag, if I have to do it manually or not If I find out something new/interesting about it, I'll post it here.- 11 replies

No more bash tags and bashed patch
Acheos replied to Acheos's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Thanks for looking at this. Wrye Flash version: "16.0 (Standalone): Default [1.4]" standalone, I had the requirements already installed, probably from Wrye Bash for Skyrim or Oblivion. What I did through the installation is: - installed the game under the "default" MO profile - followed the STEP guide, made a new "Fear and Loathing" profile by copying the default one (step 1.2 of Setting up Mod Organizer) - created a "TTW" profile from copying the "Fear and Loathing" profile to install TTW, but this time I used the 'Local Savegame' option So I have: - from MO Saves tab, in the right pane, if in "default" or "Fear and Loathing" profile, I see those 17 first saves - from MO Saves tab, if in the "TTW" profile, I see the new ones - in Wrye Flash, launched from MO, I only see the 17 default/F&L saves - in the whole SteamApps/common/Fallout New Vegas there is only one bashed patch: 'Bashed Patch, 0.esp" in Mopy/templates, no clue how the other disappeared Where do I put the copied bashed patch from the mopy/template folder?- 11 replies

Following L&LNV STEP guide, it's great. I installed Wrye Flash NV and set it up with MO, as instructed. At first it had worked to make a bashed patch. Now at some point Wrye Flash stopped seeing the bash tags (empty box in the lower right corner of the main screen when you select a plugin in the list), and there is no empty bashed patch that I can click on to rebuild it. I created a new profile at some point, and it might have happened around that time, but going back to the original profile doesn't fix it either. LOOT still shows them in green in the detail list it produces after sorting the plugins. Anyone knows a solution for that? I thought I saw something about that on the forum, but kept searching and can't find a solution.
