SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
to be honest I have not done any actual playing in months but if you say the static loot is better then i am happy to take your recommendation and switch since it is likely in the merge patch i am happy to leave you to decide on this. -
i am still regularly getting 504 timeouts while trying to edit my SRLE extended LOTD guide.

As you know I always appreciate any help I did look at the patches and we could use 2 of them and then I could remove the records from the CR. plus if i create a Forgotten City and Wheels of Lull patch that should remove the need for both of those from the CR. -

ok guys an update on the state of things: I know I said i was going to stop adding new mods to this guide until the special edition came out but then i noticed Mizzog had a new mod out then WAA and Minvera went MIA (but these are both back). I have know decided on a new plan of action for the guide which will take me several months to complete (if it ever does) that is finally to start moving towards modular patches similar to what Paul and JD have done with there guide. This will likely take me quite a while as understandably paul and JD are dealing with the launch of there Requiem LOTD guide which is awesome and you should check it out if not done so. So this leaves me to actually get this done and as there as I only get a few hours a day in which I can do stuff. so please bear with me but i am not abandoning things don't think I ever could. yes dawnguard arsenal, immersive armors and heavy armory are all part of the guide. -
Admins you might as well close this topic as I suspect most users have moved on to either my LOTD build or Paul's Requiem LOTD build. plus I ma not really supporting this version of my guide anymore.

I can't see why not as the RDO Patches merge loads fairly near the bottom thus overwriting all it need to unless anyone know differently. -

I was told by the mod author to install all i need and conflict resolve which we do the fomod is no good for us. the companions are now covered by Followers Hirelings and Housecarls by Mizzog https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79146/? this also replaces Males of Skyrim yes remove the ESM have fixed my bad this done so proper overwrite occurs -

you need the esp later for the merge I will adjust that to be more clearer. You only need to remove the land edit via the script. -

Darth_mathias replied to paul666root's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
that is not a easy decision to make Paul cos both mods add a lot of god things but if i was to chose i would probably also drop ICAIO luckly my guide is "Locked" for now (once i have actually finished the new setup 1 section left) -

ok guys since i actually do need to fix the NPC Rextexure merge and the NPC CR do you want Mizzog's new Followers Hirelings and Housecarls https://www.nexusmods...im/mods/79146/? or would you rather wait. also since the new Mizzog basically replaces most of males of skyrim (all but about 3 or 4 npcs and these are cover by men of winter) we should remove that and use this along with Men of winter. -

ok i did say that i wasn't going to change the guide but then i saw this Followers Hirelings and Housecarls by Mizzog https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79146/? so maybe one more update then I am done Edit: this mod covers a lot more NPC then just the companions the is the replace we've been waiting for thou so i think will let this win over Males of Skyrim unless you guys want it differently. Edit 2: I really shoudl read things before shout my mouth off this currently covers the vanilla edition we'll have to wait for the Mizzog edition which it was we were using for the male compaions -

It is a sit back a wait see what happens with Skyrim modding with the newer version and what our illustrious Grand Master does with his base guide. really the only thing that would interest me in the Special Edition is the 64 bit binary but it is most definitively a wait a see what happens.
