  1. If I'm not mistaken, the Relighting Skyrim adds new sources of light, whilst Realistic Lighting Overhaul just moves the existing sources in Vanilla to the appropriate source. E.g.: Relightning ALSO add new braziers/candles/lanterns in the world, whilst Realistic just moves the light source to the appropriate sources (fires in chimneys, lanterns, etc.) . In my opinion, it's up to a user what to choose. Unless there could be a potential compatibility between the two. But I would rather have only vanilla sources with actual light emitting from them, than having extra sources, chosen by the mod author.
  2. Getting it installed now, will update the post in a day or so. :)
  3. I too would give a thumbs up for this mod, even as maxed skilled thief, the master locks still remain a challenge, and those lower level locks are no more a hassle and burden every time you encounter them.
  4. @NEXUS Ever wondered why the sound below the water surface produces that nasty splash effect? Yeah, me too... Thankfully, we're playing Skyrim, where anything can be fixed (almost). Really simple soundfile replacement, making the swimming a tad more enjoyable (in the Falkreach area only, really). Can't fight the coldness of the north with this.Â
  5. Discussion topic: Dark Brotherhood Tenets Restored by Rathinosk Wiki Link @NEXUS A higher quality and readable version of 5 Dark Brotherhood Tenets in the game. Bringing you extra detail and better immersion. No issues or conflicts with current STEP 2.2.1 that I've found.Â
  6. @NEXUS A brand new pop up in the game after any of your skill increases. It gives that nice feeling of accomplishment and some short text, that some players might ignore, others might recognize some of the references from other games. Yeah, not completely tied to Skyrim lore and it has a cheat mode, which can be manually disabled in the MCM menu. It even brings all the messages from lower levels of your skill if your character is a high (er) level. But only for that specific skill per time. No issues with any mod, have to dabble a little before using it for a non cheat version.
  7. @NEXUS Pretty much the title says it all, prevents new houses you've built in the Heartfire expansion refurnishing itself again. Works like a charm out of the box. No issues known of.
  8. Discussion thread: Improved Horse Step Sounds by Crystan Wiki Link A sound mod, that brings another level of immersion into the game. Being able to hear on which terrain your horse is stomping and galloping around is definitely a nice addition. The mod has 1 slight issue, if outdoor, you move about, some cell transitions fail to update the sound and your horse' hooves remain silent for a second. I've ran about quite a lot and for example a path through wilderness between Riften and Iverstad, the sound would fail around 3 times, that I noticed. Then again, the mod itself is straightforward, works with any horse I came across, no issues outside the above mentioned one. Accepted for v2.2.5 The *problem* with this mod is not really a problem with this mod, so it is accepted --Thanks to torminater for the detailed summary
  9. @NEXUS A dynamic combat adjustment system, that takes your gameplay into account and it's not just a toggle between too easy and too hard. Despite not testing it on a fresh play through, it does feel dynamic enough on level 50+ with its algorithm. It does recognize new enemies without hassle, despite having to set notifications off manually. MCM compatible. No issues. I'd say regarding immersion it does improve upon, so when you level up, when the enemies stop leveling, you get that extra feeling of tougher enemies and its not just a zerg fest.Â
  10. Indeed, that allowed me to install the mod. Thanks.
  11. Installing the above mentioned mod "Elven Weapons for Silence" in the STEP 2.2.1 test version via Mod Organizer returns the following error after 'Running external installer' : Installation failed - File 'skyrim.esm' is not Active. Well, I double checked, the file IS active and grayed out in Mod Organizer. I am installing the mod via 'Right click - > Install mod...'  option, since Download with Manager fails to even download it. Had no other mod failing like this bar this one, and I installed them all in the STEP 2.2.1 version. Thanks for your time!
