  1. As far as I can see, there was only a minor incompatibility with Realistic Room Rental (I just copied the records from Prometheus's mod to overide the three spots in the nightingale inn) and one place where ELFX exteriors overwrote something (I merged them). In short, that's more or less about as clean as a mod can reasonably be expected to be. Havent tried in game yet.
  2. I'm basically a pure SR:LE with a few added features (mostly things Neo removed from the first version of SR:LE, like AV the werewolf/vampire stuff and a few animations and maybe a few of Isokus mods). I only had to make a few changes to a compatibility patch and I too run Realvision. Overall, im absolutely stable, even if I fly through Skyrim, and even incredibly if I load up old saves.
  3. Actually in Neo's guide he uses the following commands, i'm now actually unclear what the difference is (or if enabled is necessary) [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256
  4. Sigh, yea well it was worth a shot. Currently about 80% of the way.. It takes a bit more than an hour even when I already had a working build from 2 weeks ago, so numerous are the new edits. These recent updates are sorta more important than a regular patch, since it directly impacts graphics performance (getting ELFX, RL, USKP and ELE to all mesh together makes a big difference for visuals)
  5. Anyone out of the goodness of their souls, want to post the latest sr conflict resolution.esp? Going through the copious ele edits is going to be very frustrating.
  6. I consider this a must have mod. One thing, where do you see a conflict with 360 walk and run? In the optional sprinting animations? I run both together and haven't had a problem yet.
  7. Realistic lighting is not part of skyrim revisited. Are you sure you are using the new legendary guide? If you follow the guide properly and not choose things like 4k textures you will greatly improve your stability. much of the guide involves choosing compromises between graphics, performance and stability.Crashing or infinite loading screens at doors can be many things and it's hard to find the source of instability. First you will have to eliminate possible causes.
  8. So just past the guardian stone area is a pretty normal place for a crash. Â It's essentially near the loading cell for Riverwood. Â One thing you could try is to walk up through the Windhelm docks, as that's another memory intensive place that often induces a crash if there is a memory problem. Â So it can be either Ram or Vram related if thats the case. Â Are you using an ENB with the Enbboost settings to help with Vram issues? Are you using Sheson's SKSE patch for memory? Â Are you using too many 4k textures or have a graphic card without much Vram? Â Are your ini settings too aggressive? Â etc etc
  9. So you are describing a series of problems that likely have multiple causes. Â Often opening doors crash is not indicative of a memory problem, but rather mod conflicts or bad meshes. Â However it could be a memory problem (either RAM or VRAM). Â Shesons memory log will track that. Â Step 1. Â Disable all the big texture mods and lower your memory footprint (disable ugrids to load and any ENB). Â If your game is stable after a few hours, then you know its memory related (or at least if there is a mesh problem, it lies within one of the files you disabled). Â If its a memory problem, perhaps you are not using the ENB memory settings correctly or the SKSE settings, or perhaps you simply downloaded the wrong texture packs (4k instead of 2k, didn't ddsopt the Bethesda files etc) Step2. Â If its not memory related, then you need to start a new vanilla profile with nothing on, and see if you have your .ini settings right. Â If thats good, then slowly section by section start enabling mods (redoing your bashed patch, fnis, sum and leaving sr conflict off for now). Â
  10. Ha! Â Yes indeed, riverrun = riverwood. Â I don't know where my brain is (this is especially bizarre since I read GoT nearly a decade ago and have never watched the series). Â Anyway yea the lite version seems a bit better in this regard. Â I guess I need to crank up my AA settings in the ENB file somewhere.
  11. This is a great ENB. Â Nice performance, it stays within Skyrim's art feel and not too somber. Â I tweaked out the letterbox, but other than that its great.
  12. Hi, I was wondering what you guys use as a solution for the horrible meshes of the fence/gate in riverrun.. Namely \meshes\architecture\farmhouse\fencewoven01.nif, fencewoven02.nif SMIM's solution is fine up close, but has massive shimmering that not even the best antialiasing solution can fix. Are there better meshes out there for these particular fences? Â
  13. I'm curious, what was the reason consistent older people was removed from this mod list as well as nonessential killable children? Â Were there big conflicts?
  14. I would definitely recommend people keep testing the new driver. Â I reverted back to the last whql and my game works fine now, however its possible that I bungled the install in some way (I am a little concerned with the geforce experience conflicting with Inspector as I got several backend crashes and nv perf monitor would bsod windows). Â So take this report with a grain of salt, it is far from a scientific analysis.
  15. Upon further review, the problem is there even without an ENB on, its just highly muted (likely the fps is higher so I can't detect it). Â It really seems that its some sort of vsync issue, possibly with the new driver version.
  16. Hi so i've installed SR:LE no problem.  Everything works great and is very stable. I do have an issue with Unreal ENB.  It seems like there is some flickering when I have it installed (very rapid flickering but there all the same, even when motionless and staring at the wall.  I thought it might be vsync related but i've played with all the settings in both Nvidia inspector, in the skyrimpref.ini files as well as in the enblocal file. Currently i'm following SR:LE guide to the letter as well as the Nvidia guide.  The only thing I can think off is that the newest Nvidia driver (334.89) is causing a problem? Perhaps its something else related to shadows.  Either way its only there when I enable the ENB. One other bug (probably a mistake somewhere in SR conflict on my behalf).  I noticed that when I attack a prisoner convoy of imperials, that the prisoner attacks me as well. Â
  17. Great thanks. One other quick question as im starting on SR conflict resolution.esp (srcr). Suppose that at some point a mod is removed from SR:LE.  The srcr patch is going to have a missing master at that point  How does one proceed with editing the patch at that point, since it won't even load up in Tes5edit?
  18. edit: nm I found the problem, I overinstalled a mod. quick question, Is it normal for SUM to ask me to locate Boss.exe manually? Â This seems odd, i'm running it from the /mod folder directly in MO.
  19. edit:apologies moving this to support
  20. So I've recently gotten back to playing Skyrim and was reinstalling Skyrim:LE and i'm sure i'll want to customize and tweak it a little bit after im done. Â However much has changed in 10 months. Â One of the things that would save me a lot of time is to not make mistakes that all the authors and users of this forum have undoubtedly made in order to come up with the best modlist possible. IÂ was wondering if there was a changelog in the wiki of SR:LE where I could see exactly which mods were removed from the lineup (either due to being removed from Nexus or replaced with something better). Â I recall in Skyrim Revisited there was precisely such a thing, but I wasn't able to find it for LE. Also other than Starac's mod, are there any mods that were removed from Nexus that people would still recommend using as nobrainers? Â Its possible I have older copies so I wouldn't want to accidently delete them.. Thanks
  21. Has anyone quantified just how much net memory this buys us over the old caps? Â Surely there are limits.
  22. Hey Neo, at one point you should write up the ingame configuration guide (eg MCM etc). Â There are a few choices that i'd be interested to hear your opinion on.
  23. Just an FYI update. Â I'm lvl 20 right now in a full playthrough, that I started some 10-15 days ago. Â There is definitely a progressive rise in the instability and memory use, particularly with Realvision ENB at high settings. Â It definitely requires frequent use of the coc command to get yourself out of annoying infinite load screens. I thought for a long time that I could get by with just the reduced normal maps from the main texture packs, but in the end, that's just not realistic. Â So I went with the 1k version of SRO/SHO and a few others, and the situation is much improved. Â Every once and awhile it requires disabling the ENB temporarily. Also, I have a theory that hardware AA with ENB 119 doesn't impact VRAM/RAM problems in the game engine in the same way as the ENB SMAA/edge AA does. Â B/c my memory situation seems far more stable with the former (even when its cranked up significantly higher than the SMAA). Â Just an observation. Biggest problem areas so far. Whiterun by a country mile. Its actually easy to stress test your system by zoning into whiterun from another texture intensive place, then walk into Jorvasskr and exit, then the inn and out, and breezehome and exit.. All this with a follower.
  24. I've been using it for awhile. Â Nice mod. Â The biggest problem is if you have texture shimmering with enb > 119 bc you can't super sample, there are certain parts of the game that really stand out.
