  1. I know this is not one of the official STEP mods. But I'm really desperate with this problem. I installed the latest version of IA after STEP Core (alongdise other mods). And got the following problem: In the intro sequence the cart start jumping, spinning, bumping and switching like crazy. Really nasty and annoying bug. This happens no matter the load order I use or the mods I use (although, the less mods I use, the less chance this bug has to happen). btw, I don't have this problem with IA v6. oh and I have also already asked for help on the official tread buy seems they dont really know how to fix it. I saw another person with the same problem, but I'm not sure if he fixed it. He metions something about FPS limiter, but I don't really get his point and to be honest I don't want to use weird modifications or 3rd party programs to use this mod. this is the official mod tread: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19733/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D19733%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D717338&pUp=1 Anyone has experimented this before?
  2. Ok. I think I found the problem. I had to download userlist.txt from Boss. I didn't notice that before is this ok now? EDIT: Even with this order the noses looks horrible, and the rags on the character creation screen don't look HD. but if I enable them on the plugin tabs it gets fixed, i don't get it :S
  3. I did have those archives checked on the archives tab, so I think I don't need to enable those scripts. but I don't understand why my Unofficial patches are not in the correct order, I tho BOSS should do that
  4. Well I used Boss to sort them out. Also, enablinh those "dummy" scripts for the HRDLC fixed the ugly noses ¿does that mean I have to activate them like in the B picture?
  5. Ok I have a question: Wich of the following is the correct option? A: B:
  6. strange, because when I launched my game with STEP core installed, the noses looked horrible. I then installed No more blocky faces and they were fixed :/
  7. link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30/? I don't understand why this mod is not in STEP. Even with step and the XCE mods, noses looks awful. No more blocky faces is a simple yet very nice addition. any idea why is not listed? **EDIT: It was my fault. This mod is included in XCE. Now I have to figure out why the high res textures are not loading for me EDIT2: My actual problem is as follows: 1) If the Hi res pack files (.bsa) are ticked on the archives tab, but the .esp corresponding files are not ticked, then the hi res textures don't get loaded ((I know this because the rag texture from the character is low quality, and the fixes added by XCE are not aplied, thus making the nose look horrible)) 2) If I tick the .esp files on the plugins tab all works fine, no problems at all. But this is not supossed to work like this, even MO itself states that activating those .esp files is not necesary if the bsa files on the archives tab are active. (a brush icon appear next to them). 3) So what I want to know is why I am in the need of activating those .esp files in order for the hi res textures to load. PD: If a moderator see this, please move this thread to the support area, since its now OT from the mods suggestions. =============================================================0 EDIT3: Solution by TechAngel85
  8. Yeah, I guess that will be the solution. Could be a bit messy if I have too many profiles. I guess i will use Step Core and Step Custom profiles only. thanks for you help guys :)
  9. mmm that leads me to my other question: If I want to use 2 profiles that share one particular mod that has compatibility tweaks when used in conjuntion with X mod. whan happens if in profile A I have X mod installed but in profile B that same mod is not installed. what happens with the first mod? I supose it will stay with the same config across all profiles, but that will be a problem in this case. I ask this because I want to have the following profiles: 1) STEP: Core 2) STEP: Extended 3) STEP: Custom So, for example in the STEP core profile the "bring out your deads" mod is not installed, but in step extended it is. That causes problems with the "consistent older people" mod that has two different versions depending on wether or not you have BOYD installed or not. (the same thing applies to diverse priest) Another example is that in my "custom" profile" I use Climates of tamriel which might conflict with the other step profiles that have COT compatibility options that are usually turned off on the default Step profiles. So, how do I get around this issue?
  10. OK thank you :) Another question: I'm in the process of cleaning dirty edits with tes5edit If I choose my "STEP CORE" profile in MO and then launch tes5edit from MO and then clean the dirty edits...what happens with the same files in other profiles? lets say I have another profile called STEP + CUSTOM MODS. Does the files get cleaned on that profile too? or I should clean them again?
  11. Hi, I just finished installing STEP CORE. MO was fine til step M Then I used BOSS and the following warning appeared on MO: Does that mean the BOSS messed up my load order?
  12. Thank you very much :)
  13. I have a problem with this mod. I donwload it with MO. And when I try to install it it says with red letters: "No game data on top level" I have encountered this problem before and I fixed it by selecting the prior path and clicking "set data directory" but when I do this on this mod the error still appears. How do I fix it? NEVERMID: I found the fix, I didn't know I could click on the last filename and search for the data folder there, sorry, my bad :S
  14. I'm currently installing STEP 2.2.8. After Installing section E Interface I made a benchmark point and close the game. After that on the MO "overwrite" section which was now red, appeared the following files: Meshes   Cache       64247E0D.tri       6D190C3C.tri       6D1D154E.tri What are those, and what do I do with them? (where should I drag them?) PD: I already read this guide https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#tab=Overwrite but couldn't find and answer, sorry for my noobnishness :S
  15. Sorry to ask a question in this thread but It's related. I had the exact same problem with the ALT F4 plugin (and thanks to this post now I know what do do from now on with log files) But I have a question regarding SKSE: I installed SKSE manually and not using mod organizer. is that optimal? or should I use mod organizer to install it?
  16. Sorry wrong post. -
