  1. The compatibility guide for SR:LE is from July. Is there any way to make REGS compatible with the current SR:LE?
  2. Hey there, I just completed the guide and noticed that BOSS still has 3 unrecognized plugins, which I figure can't be good? They are as follows: SkyFalls DB + FS Small Waterfalls.esp Active Fixed, I had to drag the rule below the second SkyFalls one in order for it to be validRSChildren - Complete.esp ActiveRSChildren_PatchUSKP.esp Active Strange thing is that I defined a rule in BUM for SkyFalls DB + FS [...] (according to the guide), but somehow it is still marked red and I guess that's why it still shows up as unrecognized? What could be the problem here? As for the RSChildren stuff I have no idea... I created a merged patch with similarly named files, but these two up there are definitely "standalone" and weren't mentioned in the merged patch according to the guide. I also couldn't find any rule definitions for them in the guide. Any ideas? best regards and thanks in advance, daZza Edit: ANother question: Texture optimization was only suggested for Vanilla and Falskaar / Wyrmstooth. Is this correcct? Will I be fine with 3GB VRAM without further optimization? Edit2: To clarify the RSChildren problem: I merged the following files: RSChildren_CompleteUSKP.espRSChildren_PatchBooksofSkyrim.esp Patch - Falskaar - RS kids.esp Patch - Wyrm - RS kids.esp I renamed the merged patch to: RSChildren_CompleteUSKP.esp and then disabled the four files above by setting them as "optional ESPs" in the Mod Organizer. Now I still got two different (!) RSChildren files left that were not merged and that have no BOSS or BUM rules defined for them. These are the ones from the OP: RSChildren - Complete.esp ActiveRSChildren_PatchUSKP.esp Active
  3. Nope, I just couldn't find it. Thanks! Edit: When I think about it there might be one more. What do I select in ModManager when updating a mod? Merge or Replace? Do I have to execute all other steps related to this mod again after update? (DDSopt, BashTags, ...)
  4. Hey folks, I started doing the guide yesterday and for future use I would like to know what has changed in the different versions. The guide says to check the "history" page of the guide. I already searched for quite some time but weren't able to find it. Can someone provide a link? best regards, daZza
  5. Reading this, I assume there's still a chance that SR:LE will be released eventually and did not die a few months ago?
  6. Thanks. So the mod is basically dead?
  7. Where can I find the latest revision of SR:LE? I didn't touch Skyrim for ages as I was waiting for the LE to be completed for some months now...
  8. OP says 85% completion, but thats from January or so. What would you say where you are now? You've got a timeframe till full release?
  9. I'm using 1920x1200, fov 75. I recently installed Skyrim Grassification Project though and that dropped me to like 30FPS. Tried installing Grass on Steroids as well, but that totally ****ed my FPS down to like 2 - 5.Â
  10. What rig do you have? Those mods look awesome ingame, but they drop me from ~50 FPS to ~3-5 FPS. I got a pretty powerful rig with an i5 3750K @ 4,2 Ghz, 8 Gigs RAM and a GTX 670 OC with 4 GB VRAM. Also tried to set the grasshaders to 0 and decrease density to 128. No change in FPS though lol edit: Tried Grassification only and it brings me to ~ 30-35 FPS. That's kinda reasonable. Thanks for the suggestion, grass everywhere just makes the game look so much better :)
  11. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31724 Skyrim Savegame Cleaner, for messy people like me that like to drop much stuff on the ground :DÂ
  12. Ah ye forgot taht, 4 GB VRAM
  13. Tried that. I only got clean SR install + SkyRe + Armor/Weapons. Nothing gameplay or dragon changing apart the stuff included in SR. Thanks for the hint though edit: Definitly was a bugged Unofficial Patch. I found this fix: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31685/ It's basically a script file, which the Unoffical Patches also come with. I replaced it in D:\Program Files (x86)\ModOrganizer\mods\Unofficial Skyrim Patch\scripts and D:\Program Files (x86)\ModOrganizer\mods\Unofficial Dragonborn Patch\scripts now everything works fine. Only conclusion is that the original script of the unofficial patch was bugged somehow.
  14. I updated all that stuff and I guess the USKP or something needs a patch adjustment. I started a new character and am kinda stuck at the first dragon. After I killed it, I just dont absorb the soul and am therefore stuck on the "Investigate the dragon" subquest :/ Strange thing is, the AI scripts seem to trigger, as the guard guy tells everyone to get back and take cover :D
  15. If it's any help for people, I've got a GTX 670 and get a stable 60 FPS with SR + SkyRe and everything maxed out + 8x AA 16x AF in driver. I am mostly using 2k textures, sometimes 4k With RealVision ENB it goes down to a stable 40.
  16. Usually Neovalen look into updated mods and make decision is there any need of redoing patches. But you can do it yourself or just redo compatibility patch for new version by following Revisited GuideWill it be made public in the changelog then? (if he deems it necessary)
  17. Hey folks, just wanted to ask how updating SR works? I just saw that BYOD and the UKSP both have a new update ready. I remember both of them having tons of manually made compatibility patches. Do I have to remake them all or do I just update the main files and thats it? Also big thanks to neovalen for making such a great compilation :) Together with SkyRe, RealVision and some immersive and lore friendly armor/weapon packs this just by far the best thing ever released.
  18. Set those attributes and UAC is disabled of course. Problem was solved by SKSE Team now :) Never got such a fast support lol, response after 1 minute :D The problem was the ModOrganizer Plugin for SKSE. This seems bug out SKSE currently and therefore it's recommended to just delete the plugin. edit: However, this error does not interfere with the core functionality of SKSE. Thats why most of the stuff was running without problems.
  19. Thanks for the suggestion, but as I said in the OP I already tried both the stable and the newest beta build. I might just write the SKSE devs an email stating that problem... Maybe they know how to fix it
  20. Hey folks, After I installed STEP I'm trying to find some good content and rpg mods. Any of you using additional mods to those that are suggested in the STEP guide? For now I'm just using some new playerhomes and Complete Crafting Overhaul + Smithing Perks Overhaul + Weapons and Armor Fixes. Always looking for more :)
  21. Nah I'm pretty sure I installed it in the right place and I also did the .ini file with that ContainerCategorization thing. The strange thing is, that I can play the game without any errors up till now. Even SkyUI is working and iirc it requires SKSE to work properly and shows you can error message if it isn't running. edit: Just realized that skse has log files and looking at those I found this: procPath = F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\\TESV.exe launching: TESV.exe (F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\\TESV.exe)Could it be, that this \\ at the end is the problem? I mean normally this path shouldnt even exist :D This might trigger that error message, but SKSE somehow manages to start the game anyway. Also found this in a log: Smart Souls Initializing... Initializing INI Manager INI Path: Data\SKSE\Plugins\Smart Souls.ini Souls Smartened Successfully! So it seems to actually start the plugins it's supposed to load.
  22. Hey folks, got the new STEP up & running but when launching the game via SKSE it gives me an error: "Initialisation failed" is the heading of the little error window and the text is "game not found" I tried both the current release and the beta build of SKSE. When closing the error message the game start though, however, I'm not sure, if SKSE is running. Anyway to check or any known solution for that problem? PS: I made a fresh install of Skyrim before getting the new STEP. So there shouldnt be any incompatibilities.
  23. Just read about this overhaul: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15232 Looks pretty good to me... Fixes, new features but most importantly lore friendly. Cooperation with STEP would be great, as it would probably merge 2 very good mods into 1 awesomesauce mod (:
