Error: OpenGL: framebuffer objects unsupported
sheson replied to Kattmandu's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hmm nothing red in your case. Can you check for any other LOD textures in the same folder if any of have red parts? Otherwise upoad ..\Textures\DynDOLOD\LOD\ DynDOLOD_Tamriel.dds from the DynDOLOD output. -
Error: OpenGL: framebuffer objects unsupported
sheson replied to Kattmandu's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
The problem with the red textures appears to be with stitched object LOD textures. They are not affected by any of the light settings for LOD billboards. It is most likely a bit random due to multithreading what is affected or if at all. I see from the object LOD atlas texture you uploaded it is also the farmhouselod01.dds texture (and one other) as I already suspected it is for @yakmods. I will post again, once I have a new test version to try based on this information. -

That probable means the ..\textures\lod\farmhouselod01.dds in your TexGen output is red or partly red? -

sheson replied to Kattmandu's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
The tools reported their exe CRC32 in the first logline TexGen 3.0 Alpha-182 x64 - Skyrim Special Edition (SSE) (02D44141) so that is the latest right now. Can you list the filenames of 3 red LOD textures that were generated? -

Get new test version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-opengl-framebuffer-objects-unsupported/#findComment-282545 and only set GLDebug=1 and none of the other settings to see if it runs trough. Upload logs in case it fails. -
Error: OpenGL: framebuffer objects unsupported
sheson replied to Kattmandu's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Different error. Error: Texconv error 80004005 textures\Landscape\Grass\RaspberryVineDrJ.dds Something might have happened to the texture file. See https://dyndolod.info/Help/Texconv 80004005 The texture is not a valid file format or corrupted and needs to be converted or replaced. Look up the texture path in MOs right window Data tab to find out which mod supplies it. Reinstall the textures from the mod, DynDOLOD Resources or TexGen output, whichever it is. If the mentioned texture is part of the DynDOLOD output, delete the entire output from former session before trying again. There might an some kind of issue with OpenGL releasing resources TexGen "deleted". Can you track video memory and/or VRAM? -
Moved to the appropriate thread for the message. See posts above. Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Use-Search The message you quoted has a link Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message that you should click as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Read-Log-and-Error-Messages to open a page with explanations and help for the message. It opens https://dyndolod.info/Help/DynDOLOD-DLL, which says under Requirements: In case of Skyrim SE, Skyrim AE, Enderal SE, Skyrim VR and Enderal VR every plugin that contains deleted references needs to be cleaned. That includes vanilla game plugins like Update.esm etc. See the Prerequisites section of the Generation Instructions for more. https://dyndolod.info/Generation-Instructions#Prerequisites Clean and error check the load order with xEdit. Clean every plugin that LOOT suggests to clean - ... Cleaning of plugins that contain deleted large references is mandatory for the DynDOLOD DLL NG that includes the large reference bugs workarounds. As the message says, the reported plugins need to be cleaned. See https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Deleted-Reference See https://tes5edit.github.io/docs/7-mod-cleaning-and-error-checking.html I suggest to read and follow the installation and generation instructions top to bottom to avoid running into errors one by one.

The texture of the LOD model is being replaced with the texture replacement defined on the base record. To prevent that, you should change the shape name in the LOD model so it does not match the full mode. If a LOD model actually defines a *lod.dds texture, use the typical _LOD in the shape name, e.g. SovngardeStatue01_LOD:0 It should then leave it alone and not apply the replacement.

Thanks for letting us know the latest test version fixed the proplem. -
deadtree01_lod.nif has a UV scale of greater than 1.0 in the shader settings. Can you upload the object report, toor? I will look at the statue tomorrow.
-
This is odd, probably a bug. Does it stop if you add NoReUV to the shapename? Just for testing.

Keep the INI settings and get a new version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-opengl-framebuffer-objects-unsupported/#findComment-282545 Upload new logs. In case it runs through with the settings, just keep GLDebug=1 and try again. The loading of BSA and plugins seem to take a really long time, is this with a spinning disk? BTW it is RenderTexturesSingleThread with an extra s, however since the issue happens while generating billboards, it is not relevant. -
Error: OpenGL: framebuffer objects unsupported
sheson replied to Kattmandu's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Make sure to download the latest test version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-opengl-framebuffer-objects-unsupported/#findComment-282545 Check the actual TexGen output folder right after generation. Verify timestamps the texture was just generated in the last session. Open the texture in an image viewer. If you run TexGen several times, is this reproducible or random? You really need to fix or permanently remove the broken plugins Great Town of Ivarstead - Embers XD [XD ESP] Patch.esp, KatanaCrafting.esp, Vokriinator Black.esp, SynthesisWeapons.esp. -
The flag means the reference / base record full model always shows. Calling it LOD can be confusing. The plugin uploaded in the linked post requires 4 other plugins as master. Can you provide a simple example plugin that not does require finding/downloading more mods? Preferable a vanilla reference / base record? DoubleYou might probably already know what prevents certain references to show in FO4.
-
This has nothing to do with xLODGen. No example plugins or screenshots of xEdit showing records have been provided. Setting IsFullLOD flag requires also the IsPersistent flag. The reference will be skipped for object LOD unless it has the VisibleWhenDistant flag set. The VWD flag on a reference means to always generate object LOD. That should not affect if the game shows the full model or not. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/80276 FO4LODGen-DLCCoast-WindTurbines.esp Add IsFullLOD flag to the 3 wind turbines so they can be seen from afar. This plugin does not really affect LOD generation and needs to stay active in the game.

Add CPUMipMaps=1 to the TexGen_SSE.INI Upload new logs. You can uncheck Rendered Object LOD textures and Tree/Grass Billboard since they never have an issue and generated fine to save some time.
