  1. I'd go with the 780. It's the same architecture as the Titan and so is just a better card in general. The 770 is basically a retooled 680 - even overclocked it won't quite reach the same performance as the 780. The question then is whether or not the extra 1GB of VRAM makes a difference in your gaming. If your res is 1080 or less then I'd say no. But if you're playing at 1600 res, or multi monitor, then you may want to forfeit the raw power of the 780 for the increased texture capacity you get with the 4GBs.
  2. As Spock pointed out, the lantern light only extends a couple feet - enough to see anything directly in front of you. Â But you still maintain the larger atmosphere of the dungeon being dark and foreboding beyond your little circle of light. Â It's a compromise. Â I see where you are coming from though. Â From a "lore friendly" standpoint, you wouldn't have a regular flame lantern attached to your hip due to the danger. Â
  3. I got an EVGA GTX 660 2GB. Â I should have asked for the equivalent value in money and then added my own to it to get the 3GB version, but oh well. I can now run STEP + some extras (CoT/ELFX/Parallax) and some of the more demanding ENBs at acceptable framerates.
  4. VideoMemorySizeMB's value formula is RAM + VRAM - 2048. So if you have 8GB of system RAM, it would be 8192 + 3072 - 2048 = 9216. However, the max this value can be assigned is 10240. When I had that value set only to VRAM, I was having the same problems. FPS drops and long loading times made the game nearly unplayable and I thought I'd have to wait for a video card upgrade before I could run an ENB (GTX 460 1GB). Then I read about the above value calulcation and set mine higher (from 1024 to 4096). Now I only have slight dips in FPS and loading times have been dramatically decreased. Of course, you may not experience as much of a difference depending on the extent of your other ENB settings/features.
  5. You're right! I hadn't turned off the adult content block.
  6. First of all, thanks Neo for doing this. Â I just purchased Skyrim LE in the latest Steam sales and I wanted to make it look spectacular before I really dove into it and get full enjoyment. Â After installing a couple dozen mods on my own, I stumbled across STEP and your install. Â Your walkthrough has been very informative and helped me figure out MO, TES5Edit, and so forth. Â A couple points I'd like to make. 1) The part on using TES5Edit to clean the base ESM files is a bit confusing, specifically the part about the files needing to be put back into the /Data folder and then the Overwrite -> Create Mod to import your cleaning edits. Â I just couldn't get this right. Â TES5Edit left the ESM files in /Data - so was I supposed to delete them and move the ones in /overwrite there? Â Because when I did this then MO wouldn't let me Create Mod. Â Perhaps it might benefit from a few screenshots? Â The only way that seemed to make sense was leaving the /overwrite folder "backups" because then I could Create Mod and those files were moved into the corresponding folder under /mods. 2) Skyrim Immersive Creatures seems to be dead (your link can't be found). Â I can only find translated versions of the Mod on Nexus. Â Or are those suitable to use as well?
