It's on my list of things to take a look at, which I haven't gotten around to, but doesn't it modify the vanilla textures though? It would seem bumping surfaces without considering the textures would make little sense, and vanilla enhancements wouldn't work for the TPC.
-
Venom, you are welcome. Let's see if it remains though. Starac has been against this project since I first created it, and he's on an all out offensive right now in my PM box, because according to him he "doesn't want to be compared with noobs such as Z4G4 and NebuLa" and that I "don't have permission to use his assets" and thus wants me to remove SRO entirely from the TPC, if I'm to continue the project at all. I'm telling him I'm not "using his assets", and that TPC users will just install the TPC on top of SRO anyway for the same result. I'm not breaking any rules afaik, but the whole thing has just taken the air out of me a little.
-
Mattfromoz, usually you should install mods AFTER the TPC. I don't know exactly which textures that mod replaces, but I'm sure it would be no different.
-
Now I will take a break. I'm actually relocating in a few days and I'm not sure how long it will take until I'm up and running with a new ISP. I'm a little burnt out anyway so I definitely could use the rest. If any mods are updated then I will definitely update those at least, but I won't be adding any new mods for a little while.

Don't mind the input? I appreciate the input. I will take a look at it. Regarding the Lush Trees patch. It should infact be extracted into the Trees HD folder because that's how the batch file priority is listed. Thanks! Oh and 1.7 is up now btw.

Quite frankly, I'm not going to customize this mod very much anymore. Updates come regularly nowadays and I have less time to spend on the TPC. Fiddling with the textures now that it has an ESP file will also make it harder, because removing files will have its consequences, and vanilla flora only have so many textures. If this mod settles down again then I'll look at making more specific changes, but right now it's just not worth it for me time wise. I wish he would change it to something alike glorious grasses, because I find grass in this game way too tall. I will bring up some ideas and suggestions to him soon to hear what he has to say about them. Overall though I think that he makes some nice touches between the updates, especially color wise to make the flora more subtle. I do have the feeling my computer got some FPS drops with 1.5 though, but my video card is real crap currently so that might be why.

Ok it's sent.

I would if I had your email.

No worries. It'll be done tomorrow. Maybe late at night, but it'll be done.

Aw man this stupid Soul Gems Differ. I've seriously spent like 5 hours on it today and I'm nowhere near done. After having pulled my hair to baldness after 2-3 hours I realized that gems on the ground fricken change color if you let them sit for a few seconds. No wonder nothing made sense. TPC definitely won't be out today anyway because this mod is taking way too much time to set up. Boo. :(

Not sure why he says they aren't compatible. I'm actually using it in combination with RUPP, and it greatly enhances the look of the bottles. I've probably checked 50 different bottles and I haven't found any issues with them save a couple of black pixel lines at the edge of SOME labels, but to be honest even that kind of looks enhanced because it gives the impression that the labels are slightly torn in the edges. I've tried both with and without SLOD ceramic and I would never in my life turn it off.

My list of excluded mods would be extremely short. I'm pretty certain about wanting to combine a mod before I even look at it. I'd like to mention regarding the barset textures, that I will keep using the new SRO v1.5 version. I switched back to Tobe's only to notice that it had the exact same texture seams. :/ It also looks like Vurt will update his Flora again, so I'm in no hurry to go through it yet, to avoid having to do another update. I'll make sure TPC 1.7 is out tomorrow at the latest no matter what though.
-
v1.7 will definitely be out before Monday. It will be out on Sunday at the latest, but I'll try to wrap it up for a late Saturday release.
-
Yes, Vurt's 1.5a will of course be added before it is released. I haven't made up my mind regarding the barset01 texture yet, because it's a considerable improvement, until you look behind the counter lol. But I really, really hate texture seams and errors so I'm almost certain I will revert to Tobe's. If you're of a different opinion you will probably have to convince me.
-
Yes, just keep in mind that v1.7 is still WIP, but what is completed so far: v1.7 (WIP) - Added support to combine Bellyaches Animal and Creature Pack. - Added support to combine Designs of the Nords. - Added support to combine Radiant and Unique Potions and Poisons HD (with booze). - Added support to combine Riften HQ Textures. - Added support to combine Silly Level of Detail - Potions and Poisons. - Added support to combine Snow and Rocks Textures HD (caves only). - Added support to combine Super Realistic Ore Textures. - All ore and ingots had an overhaul and you should find them a lot more varied and appealing. I would've posted this in the Step 2.2 Beta thread, but I don't have access. Boo. :(
-
v1.7 should be done within a couple of days depending on where I draw the line for a new release. The Riften HQ textures are already implemented since a couple of days ago. I will have a look at those other texture packs. Thanks! EDIT: Just to let you know I've made an overhaul of the ore and ingots as well, which is now a customized combination of Super Realistic Ore Textures and HD Ore and Ingots. I still did not use Maker's Mark because I quite frankly don't like it since it uses vanilla textures.
-
Eh... I was going over some ingot textures and found a rather interesting bug: Apparently, the silver ingots use the ingotiron01 texture while iron ingots use the ingotsilver01 texture. Luckily, this is easily fixed by switching places with the textures, which mod authors of these textures have already noticed as well.

One of the main goals with the TPC is convenience. Since this is a mod that is particularly tedious to set up, it makes a perfect candidate.
-
Oh I see, thanks for the info.
-
I'd like some STEP input on Soul Gems Differ, because OH MY DEAR GAWD! With that said, are there any settings considered optimal/best? If I'm gonna start digging into this personally I'll end up spending a whole day on it, because I've never touched this mod before. Also, 83 Willows 101 Bugs doesn't seem to be downloadable anymore. The file is hidden.
-
There is an installer in the works already which is nearly completed.
-
mattfromoz: I wasn't aware of those DLC tweaks and I'll have a look at them. Thanks! Regarding the barset01 texture I mentioned above: I will revert those back to Tobe's texture because Starac told me to deal with it or don't use them, so it's safe to say they won't be fixed. Even if the texture itself is better, texture seams are a no-go for me.
-
This is unfixable with textures. Blame Bethesda for creating meshes this way. :(
-
Looks like the barset texture was somewhat fixed, but it still has seams unfortunately. I've informed Starac so hopefully he will make another pass at them. I included them in TPC v1.66 anyway, but I might switch back to Tobe's again in the next version if he's unable to fix it. Here's a screenshot of it: https://i1241.photobucket.com/albums/gg517/cestral/BardiskSeams.jpg
