  1. Oh duh, thank you so much yeah who can read is clearly at an advantage. Thank you very much either way hope you have a nice day Cheers, June
  2. Oh I see I totally missed some of what is just detailed in the changelog, must've skimmed over too quickly. Tho how do I go about copying this instance to keep a safe unchanged backup of the v.2.1.0 that I did last year to work on patching it separately Cheers^^ June
  3. Hi there, Last year I installed the v2.1.0 of the modlist following the guide in october so very soon after original release. Since then I haven't updated (or for that matter even really played) skyrim. I started playing again recently and had a look at the website if there were any updates and there are. I have in fact found the new guide and it seems as I should be able to carry my save forward, but need to first update to follow the updates to the v2.1.0 guide and then update to v.2.2.0. Now I'm not quite sure what specifically I should be doing I have found both changelists and the instructions to clean my savefiles, but am not sure if there are any specific things I should follow or be aware of. Do I just install, uninstall or reinstall (with new settings) the mods following the changelogs or is there a specific order I should keep in mind or anything else that I need to look out for before attempting this? Can I copy this MO2 instance to avoid breaking my original v2.1.0 version and patch safely from there? I haven't found as detailed instructions as the original guide regarding updating so I'm imagining that it should be relatively easy compared to a fresh install and am essentially just looking to figure out if my understanding is correct or not. I'm rather new to modding, and while I don't understand it fully closely following a detailed guide wasn't super complicated and rather just took some time, so with fewer resources I've found myself to be a little stumped ^^
  4. Ah I found a pretty easy way to get the older .exe for the game so I'm back to 1.6.353, so all good and my modding may continue. Cheers ^^
  5. Hello there I just started trying to find the best way to mod my game to keep it fresh and so on. I found the Step Skyrim Special Edition v2.1 guide on here and was like that's exactly what I was looking for. Did a fresh install of the game and started setting it all up when I noticed that of the first few Extensions that are required / recommended 3 didn't work because they were out of date. I then looked it up and saw that the game had received two updates in the last 3 or 4 weeks and now I'm asking myself if there is a way to get the most recent version of game modded properly or if there is a way to roll those updates back and play on a slightly out of date version of the game that is being fully supported by the mods. I didn't look much further in the modlist to see how many were affected, but given that out of the 7 or 8 extensions 3 didn't work definitely took some of my motivation. Should I wait until the mods are all updated? Should I wait until there is a new guide for the latest version? Should I try to roll back and follow the guide that way? Or is it only those 3 mods that don't work and I should continue on with the modding and leave the ones that don't work to the side for now? I did look for exactly a guide like the one on here, because it is nearly complete and is essentially a complete overhaul of the vanilla experience which is kind of what I wanted to get to.. But yeah any help or guidance would be very much appreciated. Cheers ^^
