I do apologize for the tone of my messages and I do understand that this is likely quite frustrating. I do have an incredibly difficult time following instruction and it seems the more I try, the more static I get in my head. Having said that... I think I've resolved the issue and everything seems to be working... however I am still getting error messages in my TexGen log. I'm sending you (hopefully) the appropriate files because I know this may create a problem at some point in my save. I do appreciate that you're trying to help me here and honestly, having played with Dyndolod as a part of my game, I couldn't imagine playing without it so again, thanks. https://ufile.io/jrm2yc35 https://ufile.io/yov9b6mc https://ufile.io/8skxihmu

I do see the two links in your signature for 'file' and 'text' but only noticed them after my initial post. My mistake was that in the first post, you actually mention using pastebin.com so I thought that was the preferred method of sharing the files. And I know the worldspace that failed is Tamriel as I did look through the log after running Dyndolod. The log I was referring to was the TexGen log which did have the date at the beginning... but then there would be nothing to truncate. I do appreciate that you're trying to help and that it must get frustrating answering what appears to be an endless stream of questions from people who haven't done any of the research but I spent the last three days reading through the documentation (including the Terminology) and simply couldn't grasp what I was reading. I really only posted here as a last resort because I had run into a problem which I was unable to solve. As a guy who failed grade nine three time, I have a very difficult time learning new things and was only ever able to use Dyndolod succesfully in the past by following the Gamer Poets video step by step but so much has changed since that video was made and I can no longer use it as a reference. While I'm sure all of this seems quite simple to understand for most, it really is beyond my comprehension. I'm going to stop and take a break... deconstruct everything and then try again from the very beginning (generating the grass cache) and hopefully have a better result. Again, thank you for trying to help me out. For the brief time I did have this working, it absolutely changed the visual dynamic of the game.

Apologies... I thought Pastebin was the file service being referenced in the first post. Just so I understand correctly, I would truncate at the first error message in the log files and then only include the relevant parts (error messages in this case)? I'm asking because I only seem to have one session in the Texgen log. I did click on the "Help for this message" but unfortunately, was unable to understand what it was saying. In fact, I may have to face the reality that this may be beyond my capabilities. I've spent two weeks trying to put this together and most of the language on this forum only confuses me. Perhaps I'll revisit this when I'm a little better educated in the terminology. Apologies again for taking up your time.

Hi... I've gotten this error while trying to generate Dyndolod Output. " LODGenx64.exe failed to generate object LOD for one or more worlds". I've copied the error message and the bugreport.txt to pastebin files but the Texgen_SSE_Debug_log and TexGen_SSE_log files were too large. I know you mentioned to truncate the logs but I'm unsure which are the necessary parts to include. The only error messages I could find in Texgen were: <Error: File not found textures\landscape\trees\juniptexsnown.dds. Used by Meshes\ztree's\trees\dwarfjunip02snow.nif Dark_Eden_Forests_Solstheim.esp dwarfjunip02snow "dwarfjunip02snow" [TREE:1D1F4AA2]> <Error: File not found textures\yamadori\TundraDriftWoodBark01_N.dds. Used by Meshes\yamadori\gkbreachclifftree04.nif Markarth Side - Resort City.esp 00_TreeReachCliffTree04 [TREE:FE05D80C]> and a couple of others which seem to point to the same files... however while searching my specific error on here, it seems that the problem I'm having relates to the generation of grass LODs. I regenerated the precache grass file (after deleting the contents of the Data/Grass folder), emptied the Dyndolod/Edit Scripts/Dyndolod/Cache (after disabling via MCM in game while in an exterior space and then making an interior save), deleted the Texgen and Dyndolod Outpus and then regenerated both but am still receiving the error message. I hate taking up your time but I've begun to go in circles researching this and have no idea anymore what to do. Any advice as to how to move forward would be greatly appreciated. Also, I hope I've correctly provided the pastebin links. Thanks. https://pastebin.com/CmbdQmYKhttps://pastebin.com/q5PdQTk4

I keep getting this error while trying to generate LOD... I've removed and reinstalled the mod in question but the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! I'm trying to work through this as best I can. I thought I had it sorted but apparently I've still got a few things to learn. I may be back with the (proper) logs. Thanks again. If nobody has mentioned it lately, your mod absolutely changes SSE in a very radical way. As soon as I get it figured out... I can start sweating over FO4.

First off... my apologies for not including the required documents. Several attempts to copy the DynDOLOD_SSE_Debug_log.txt and DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt to Pastebin and Google docs have failed... they just keep freezing up and I'm not sure why (having never used either of them before). I'm having a small problem though... it seems DynDOLOD is overwriting textures for one mod in my LO. I'm using Windstad Exterior Additions and the guard walls as well as the foundation for the guard house are white (not purple). They look fine from a distance with DynDOLOD enabled but turn white as I approach. If I disable DynDOLOD and TexGen, the textures are normal. Aside from regenerating TexGen and DynDOLOD and excluding that mod, is there anything else I can do?

Thank you! So far I'm good with creating LOD for vanilla trees... nervous about what might happen with Dense Nordic Forests and Myrkvior together but... that's the fun of modding, right?

Thank you for replying so quickly and my apologies for being in the wrong forum. I actually tried to follow those guides a while back and just wound up frustrated but they seem to make a lot more sense to me now (apparently I have learned something the past few months) so I'll give them another go. I understand what you're saying about multiple tree mods... I think I'm just getting greedy. Myrkvior is by far the best looking but on it's own, I still found I didn't have the density of trees I wanted. Then one thing led to another and... yeah. So I'll try to get it right with vanilla first and go from there.

So... I've just done a clean wipe and install of SSE... and I just wanted to make sure I get this right. I've scoured the forum but find a good deal of it tough to understand so if someone could please let me know if I'm missing any steps here, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to be using a combination of (in order) Dense Nordic Forests, Alpine Forest of Whiterun Hold, Myrkvior, Bent Pines 2 and Skyrim 3D Landscapes for trees and Folkvangr (summer edition with enhanced landscapes included) for landscapes/grass. My step by step looks like this... theoretically. 1. Download and install Dyndolod/DynDOLOD Resources v3 and the mods (without Indistinguishable Billboards or provided billboards) as per the instructions on Gamer Poets tutorial 2. Generate precached grass with No Grass in Objects (with No Grassias installed) 3. Remove billboards provided by any mods which include them 3. Run Texgen to provide custom billboards 4. Run DynDOLOD with the settings recommended on the Myrkvior page for UltraLOD 5. Enjoy. I feel like I need to apologize for this post... I'm not trying to 'shortcut' or anything but after months of watching many tutorials that seem to be outdated and trying my level best to understand the advice in these forums and the RTFM manual (I failed grade 9 four times due to an inability to grasp complicated... everything), I've gotten close but have never gotten it right. I want to create a LO that I can literally play until I die because it's just that beautiful. So... if anyone can just let me know additional steps... or if I'm doing something wrong, I would genuinely be in your debt. Maybe even make a video for other dummies like me who just want to enjoy the most perfect Skyrim they're capable of making.

Again... apologies. I misunderstood the first post and thought it was for logging errors when generating LODs or TexGen Output. Thank you for the response though... I suspect that when I validated my files through Steam, something went awry (there were 2 missing files). I'll continue plugging away at this and hopefully post either a resolution or a properly documented issue.

I'm having an issue (I think) with TexGen not finding the game ini. In the SSETexGen_log.txt, the "Using INI" section reads... Could not find ini Computer says "can not be found. The INI file is missing from its default location at . Current game mode: Skyrim Special Edition (SSE)" I've read the RTFM but can only understand about 30% of it. The steps I've taken so far are - made sure that "-sse" has been added to the command arguments for TexGen and DynDOLOD in Vortex - launched the Skyrim Launcher to re-establish the game registries and reboot I discovered this problem while trying to lower the brightness values of my grass and it seemingly having no effect which is why I decided to post it here. My apologies if this is the wrong spot. I also read several posts in these forums (as well as Reddit and Nexus forums) and have come up empty. I was going to attempt to manually enter the file path in the SSETexGen_log.txt but... I don't know if that's a viable (or potentially dangerous) solution so I thought it best to ask here first.
