  1. So it went at 100%, I left it running for three hours (I think) and sometime around where it was assigning spells to magic schools and what not (I don't have any other mod that modifies magic other then Empowered Magic), when I pulled up the Java box and it's all black now. I was playing Dark Souls II earlier minimized and when I alt-tabbed to see it it became like that, is this normal and should I still leave it to run or should I try to exit it and restart the whole thing again? It's been black for around thirty minutes now.
  2. This one's easier by fair, but I didn't see it. In either case, it's solved. Cheers.
  3. Thank God. I'll try this tomorrow, I'm tired as of today but this will probably solve my problems.
  4. I'm doing this after I made my bashed patch and in chronological order as is listed in the STEP mods selection, though before the patches category I went ahead and decided to install the mods I wanted for bashed patch purposes like mods that add things to leveled lists, cosmetics and general gameplay modifications like magic school overhauls. I'm using Mod Organizer. I added the executable as usual without any problems, though I had to install 32 bit Java to get it to launch. I uninstalled my 64 bit Java for good measure and reinstalled DSR to see if it would fix anything. Upon trying to patch it just says "skyproc.execeptions.MissingMaster: Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp has some missing masters: - Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp" My LOOT load out is;
  5. Still not applying the changes with external LOOT.
  6. Of course, no lock mod order or anything. I'm thinking /maybe/ Wrye Bash is somehow responsible for this but I doubt it, I uninstalled OBMM in my doubt too (I used it to install those pesky OMOD only archives).
  7. I don't have the mod order locked or anything either. I tried using the standalone LOOT application as well and no dice.
  8. I can drag the mods, but when I try dragging them to different orders nothing happens. I also notice the green outline and I'm betting that's part of the issue, but I don't know what causes it or why. I also use mod organizer for Skyrim if that helps. Nevermind, fixed. I didn't notice I had them grouped together, my bad! Thank god for stickied topics.
  9. I have one more file then what's supposed to be in the Vanilla Extracted folder (76,396), it's supposed to be only 76,395 right? Also, when I did the pre-optimization step, there was no STD folder in the Vanilla Uncompressed Normal Maps. (I have all DLC and HRDLC.) I assume since that the guide says something like "Vanilla Ordinary Textures" and "Vanilla Uncompressed Textures", it's basically now "Vanilla Textures" and "Vanilla Uncompressed Normal Maps?"Â

  11. It did! Oddly enough, I can't imagine what it would be though. Hm. Thank you very much, can't imagine being this frustrated since I tried to mod Oblivion with FCOM and a thousand other things.
  12. Hello, I just registered just to post about this issue. I'm stick in a rut, whenever I launch either the SKSE loader or the regular Skyrim executable through MO it lags. Crazy. The FPS gets cut down by half from 40-60s to 10-20s. I thought it was my mods at first (installing STEP right now, in the middle of it. I only have up to texture mods right now.) I deactivate mods by category, seeing if it had any impact. It didn't. I tried deactivating every single mod. That didn't help. I tried crosslooking over the actual Skyrim ini and the one that MO uses, seeing if anything is out of place. I changed a few lines to match them, that didn't help. I'm very frustrated right now and it seems no one else has the same problem as me. It only lags IF I launch Skyrim through MO. I would hate to toss MO with its nice virtual data feature.
