I'm at the Performance Tuning step in Step and get a crash-on-launch. That means I'm almost certainly doing something wrong, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what. CrashLogger.log has various messages about "Failed to open pdb" and "Found unhandled type: (PlayerCharacter*) .?[various text goes here]@@". Google searches have not been helpful. Has anyone seen something like this or can give me some ideas of what to go look at? CrashLogger.log

Nope, 0.3.4. I'll try 0.3.5. Thanks! Edit: That fixed it. Still fairly dark, but visible. Now characters are speaking over each other and the dragon's flight seems jerky. One thing at a time....

I'm unsure if it's a bug or not, but STEP 2.0.0 with ENB enabled using results in a very dark vanilla cart ride scene. Is this expected/normal because it's near dawn and the light just doesn't get into the valley?

I don't know for certain if this is a bug with Step Skyrim SE, but thought I'd report it here just in case. Starting with a fresh installation of Step Skyrim SE 1.0.0, I added ASIS immediately after. Running ASIS fails because Skyproc identifies a missing master: "LRR - Alternative - by LeonardoTrote.esp". This ESP comes from this mod: Lucien Lachance Restored - Immersive Spectral Assassin at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) Installing that mod--with the correct selection of the "Alternative" rather than "Classic" style--resolves the issue.
