    Thank you, It's a fresh set up for a new skyrim playthrough but even still, I've somehow managed to generate terrain texture files in the skyrim root directory. I was using MO2 "create files in mod instead of overwrite" but I'll switch to the -o command. Appreciate the quick help!

    I had already set up windows defender to exclude texgen. So I didn't think it was the issue. I had accidently excluded texgen, but not the x64 version. Sorry for my stupidity. Thanks for helping me resolve the issue.

    Sorry, I should have explained. I had clicked on the help link and gone through those processes but still having the issue. I'll keep trying and see if I can get it working. Thanks for replying so quickly
