  1. Hey guys, I'm almost finished with my STEP install and due to Requiem compatibility and less script load on my setting I left out some mods like Enhanced Blood Textures etc. I'm missing 4 masters for the STEP: Extended patch. My question is now, should I just install the 4 mods and remove the dependencies with TES5Edit, or should I go with the CORE Patch and manually add the needed .esp patches for some mods? Is the STEP Patch important? Thanks for help
  2. I could solve it in a way and increase my FPS with some other tweaks. A question that remains is, if it's worth to reduce texture size like Vidid landscapes if you have a 4GB VRAM GPU and can run them without hitting the VRAM limit. Does it still increase performance in any ways?
  3. I did like you described some weeks ago and also noticed that my memory patch wasn't working properly. I was experiencing freezes, ILS with a save and some CTDs. It came out that the only faulty thing was that my SKSE.ini was not a .ini but instead a SKSE.ini.txt file. Stupid Windows and their default option of not showing the whole data extension. After I fixed that, it worked like intended and now my ILS and CTDs are all gone. Haven't experienced one since then. Incredible!
  4. I heard that ogerboss is working on a big compatibility project that will listen mod compatibilities and patches etc. Hope he will release it soon, it would be an immense help.
  5. Are you sure it's not compatible yet? I thought that e.g Immersive Creatures or OBIS would be missing a compatibility patch. One can't use Hard Times anymore, but it's easy to get similar effects with Scarcity etc... But other than that.. Momentarily I'm having a hard decision whether I should go with Requiem 1.73 or the newst one. I have SRLE and REGS fully installed. Pros of 1.73 would be that it seems to be fully compatible with everything of SRLE and REGS, due to Azirok patches. Negative things... no new updates and no Reproccer, obviously. I thought that the Reproccer would maybe make a lot of sense for quest mods like the Elder Scrolls Series from thirteenoranges. So that the enemies would not be too much underpowered, since they'll get weapon and armor stats and basic perks from Requiem (I'd think). Pros of 1.8 would be the new version and Reproccer, but as we know there is lack of compatibility. And I'd love to have at least SIC.
  6. I have exactly the same problem. Whiterun FPS with JK's goes down to about 10-20 FPS when overlooking the city or looking at the market, without it's 10-20 FPS more. Following your guide Nearox and reducing VRAM didn't help the issue at all. Maybe my CPU is limiting me, since I have an AMD Phenom X4 955 with 3.2 ghz, but a R9 270x with 4 GB VRAM. Probably going to have to deinstall JK's mods. Anyone knows about places similar with an Whiterun FPS drop and JK's or ETacs installed?
  7. My SRLE + REGS full installation is stable and running well, mostly, together with Skylight ENB. In the landscape, I get on average between 30-40 FPS. When I turn to places that have to load many things (e.g landscape direction to Riverwood), I have about 25 FPS. But now the bigger problem: Everytime I am in a town or city, be it Riverwood or Whiterun, but especially Whiterun, the FPS can be 40, but often drop to 10-20 in the crowded places like a market, especially when I look at it directly. Deactivating the ETAC Mods give me +10 FPS. Do I have to live without them or is there another option? I'm going through your guide at the moment, got some improvements in general, but the problem with the cities is still the same, I think. I don't need another 10 FPS in the landscape, but the same in the cities, lol.
  8. Alright. I started to do so. However, I can't seem to find some records listened on this page: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition/Conflict_Resolution E.g for Cell, Block 0 > Sub-Block 5, I do not have a Sub-Block 5 entry, only 1, 2 and 7. I downloaded the patch from its page. Am I overlooking something? EDIT: Like 80% of the patches records are not in my SR Conflict Resolution.esp? EDIT2: Lol, weirdly enough, after reloading it 3 times with TES5-Edit, the missing records reappeared. :)
  9. Thanks for your answer. So, manually deleting all the modrelated records and then cleaning the masters should work, then?
  10. Hello guys, I've downloaded the SR Conflict Resolution.esp and wanted to make some adjustments, since I do not use Alternative Start, ELFX Exteriors or Neovalens merged .esp for ELE Interior Lightning, and can't use the .esp without these. Since the masters are missing in my mod-list, I opened the Patch with Wrye Bash, changed the 3 masters to an empty NoStretching.esp and then opened it with TES5. I then wanted to check for errors and remove their records. Do you think this will work? I'm not sure how to proceed in order to remove the records, though. Here is a screenshot: https://fs2.directupload.net/images/141230/ctlq3se7.jpg Which are the faulty records I have to remove?
  11. Thanks for your input. I had a new idea, though. I just formatted my drive, a 500GB HDD and put a fresh windows install on it. I will start installing my Skyrim with Mods now. When I am finished, I will see how much space everything needs (Steam, Windows, Skyrim with Mods etc, everything I wanna have on my SSD), and then I'll order a proper SSD. If something doesn't fit, I'm going to make a backup and delete it from the HDD. Then, with a programme, I will move my entire HDD with the Windows installation to the SSD. Then, I'll format my HDD, put everything I don't need on the SSD on it (like Documents, maybe some programmes etc), and simply boot from the SSD. Tada. I should then be able to enjoy the new SSD speed with my Skyrim and Windows. Right?
  12. I found a cheap one for 40 Euros.. I can't afford the double price for 240GB right now, the only thing I want though is my OS and Skyrim with Mods on it.
  13. https://www.nexusmods...im/mods/60948/? There you are :-)
  14. Hello, I currently have an 500GB HDD and started to install Skyrim with Mods on it.. I want to buy a 120GB SSD, but it will take about 2 weeks before it arrives. Since it's now where I have time to do it... Can I finish my Skyrim installation and then move my OS + Steam + Skyrim and Mods to the new SSD? If yes, how should I procceed? Just install Windows 7 on the SSD and move Steam and all Skyrim and Mod Organizer files to the SSD?
  15. This is my point, too.. I wanted to do a Requiem install a year ago, but waited for SR:LE to be finished first. So, after waiting another whole year and buying a new GPU, I finally wanted to give it a go. And hell yeah, theres info and a guide for putting together SR:LE, REGs and Requiem 1.73. Which seems to work fine. This is, in my opinion, the ultimate gameplay overhaul for skyrim! Thanks alot for the help, Smile44. But, theres also 1.8 out and 1.8.2 coming around Christmas, so I'm not exactly sure what to do. I read all around the internet and it seems like most of the patches are there, excluding some like Hard Times, SIC, OBIS or Immersive Patrols (not sure if they do work). They, however, add a lot to my game. I love them. So it would be hard for me to leave them out. That's why I'm asking myself if 1.8 is even worth it. I'll start with my SR:LE install now and decide afterwards, probably going for 1.73, since it's pretty much done and working. (I'm planning to do an ultimate, multiple hundred hours run of Skyrim)
