  1. Should the LOTD Patches remain in the patches section after installation on the left side? Or should we move it up to the LOTD section as the guide says?
  2. I believe these plugins: Dawnstar_No Snow Under the Roof_Patch.esp, Helarchen Creek - No Snow Under the Roof.esp, Whistling Mine - No Snow Under the Roof.esp shouldn't be mentioned in the finishing line under Artmoor Villages, cause it is merged in the step before. Correct?
  3. deleted I'm at the merges too, and I believe, you eventually merge all the esps in those anyways. Therefore you can keep it checked or unchecked both ways, since you are working on the merges with the different profiles it shouldn't matter if they are checked or not in your main profile. As long as you have them all unchecked in the end. But I second your other question about just disabling the esps or unchecking completely. I remember a similar discussion a few dasy/weeks ago, but I can't find a concise anwer on that int he previous posts.
  4. Is anyone else having trouble in LOOT to check for updates. For a few days now I can't access the servers for some reason. If I remember correctly, it started when I updated Loot the last time. But a fresh install didn't help either so far.
  5. Nevermind, after closing and opening it again, the option was available !?!
  6. Quick question to Merge Plugins: When I try to setup the new profile for it, the option for "Handle script fragments" under Merging is greyed out for me, so I can't checkmark it. Any ideas why this could be? Could this cause any troubles down the road?
  7. As I mentioned before, I have been playing with an early september version of this quide, bust was encouraged by the latest news to update soon. Is th newest update by Bethesday throwing a monkey wrench between the legs of the new guide? I don't have too much time nowadays, after the school year has started again, so I don't want to waste my time on something I can't play (soon). Thanx in advance
  8. I've been playing with an early september build for the past couple weeks and had little trouble at all. A few CTD but mostly overload of my graphics card (I think). But now I have my first two major gameplay issues: 1. In the final battle with Miraak, I can't advance, since he's constantly stuck in ethereal state. I read up on solutions, like using console etc., but they seem not to work for me. Has anyone else encountered this issue? especially with this build? 2. To add to Sofia issues, I haven't been able to get her to wear my crafted new armor. Instead she'S walking around naked all the time. Any research on the issue, like turning of sndboxing etc. hasn't helped either.
  9. Has anyone else noticed that items from your inventory aren't put on display in the museum when you let it sort through? Recent examples for me haev been several fossils, some items in the Hall of heroes and a couple books. SInce I usually get rid of everything left in my inventory with the cart in the safehouse once sorting is done, I was quite surprised when I noticed this.
  10. In regards to an older post about the cinematic dragon soul absorbtion: I manually exchanged the voiced animation with the somewhat annoying sound to the silent one also contained in the zip file and for me it's perfect now.

  12. I'm completely throughthe guide, finished all the merges and patches in the end (DynDolod, Lodgen etc.) I adjusted the brightness, saturation etc. as directed in the guide for the ENB. Unfortunately you can only upload 500k pics, the original screenshot was mch bigger and more detailed.
  13. Only the files that are mentioned in the Prerequisites and the Phoenix ENB from teh guide. I started completely from scratch.
  14. I followed the guide and used Verdant instead. It works fine and the grass is great. But I get comic style graphics for the distance, especially for trees (see screenshot). Any ideas where that could be stemming from? Or is that what it's suppsed to look like?
  15. If I were to use Verdant, could I put it into the Merge as well? Also, I'd like to use Breezehome and a couple "cheaty" mods as awell. Where would you put those in the left window order?
  16. Well, I'm done with doing the merges except the one I can't make since "Veydosebrom - Grasses and Groundcover" isn't available on the Nexus. Therefore I'm stuck. Is there anybody around who could provide the necessary file in some other way?
  17. I just cleaned the DLC esms after the latest update. When I ran LOOT for creating the necessary merge files, it still says I have to clean my esms. Any thoughts on this? The cleaned esms are in a seperate mod and activated.
  18. For "Eloquent Reader": Am I right to assume I need to delete the esp of the main file and keep the one of the optional (less XP)? For "Vigor": The same issue: Which esp to keep active? main file or MCM replacer one?
  19. While installing "Blowing in the wind", there were several more options ticked in the second window (optional patches), like ETAC, No snow under the roof and a couple more, that aren't listed in the guide. Should I leave them ticked? Or should I untick them?
  20. I just tried to download "Veydosebrom - Grasses and Groundcover". Unfortunately those files are currently hidden. Any chance someone has those files at a nother location for download?
  21. After I copied the files/esps from "Majestic Mountains" into the new folder, should I activate that "new mod" in Mod Organizer or not?
  22. Any advice how to do that? I already opened the file in Tes5Edit and checked the info for the conflict resolution about which was addressed there. But as much as I get the basic functionality of Tes5edit for cleaning etc. or aditing items in there, I'm not familiar enough with it to even find anything pertaining to those changes.
  23. I recently ran into trouble (CTDs) during certain radiant quests. Mostly from the yarls for "Investigation" or "Find/rescue citizens". I found online some references to similar issues in Notice Board that were supposedly addressed bythe patch we are using here. The CTDs happen when you approach such areas (like the word wall near Klikreath temple) when such a quest is active. Now I tried to deactivate Notice Board with the result of flagged missing masters in RS Children or the Conflict Resolution esp. ASIS is falgged two, but that can be addressed by running it again. Deactivating RS Children wouldn't help either, since there are also conflicts with the Conflict Resolution esp. Any advice how to proceed from here? How could I deactivate those one or two mods? What do I have to change in the conflict resolution? I doubt I could simply deactivate the conflict solution as well, since it covers so many other aspects.
  24. I read that too, just making sure. Although I'm still not quite sure why we need the SS file, since we're not suing SkySights Skins. Anyways, I have one question about the ddsOpt steps for Falskaar, Helgen and Immersive Weapons. In the STEP guide, the various graphics are redone in 2k and 1k resolutions. Are we supposed to follow that guide and use those resolutions? Or are we supposed to change them all in 8x8k? Which seems kinda excessive to me, since most graphics we use are 2k (maybe some 4k). I've been following the guide as closely as possible, checking and rechecking everything, and still get various CTD during MCM registration and after switching cells (e.g. fast travelling, tried coc and could reporoduce most of those crashes). I found some info about trouble with DynDOLOD and Relinker on different boards. Any insight here? Also, if I were to add mods like Skyshards, some cheat items, maybe some basic SL stuff (like SOS, amorous adventures). Should I first get the system running completely and then add them or could I get them introduced right away? And most importantly where in my mod orders (left and right). As I wrote before, LOOT is spewing completely different load orders than the modwat.ch I found (https://modwat.ch/u/Darth_mathias/plugins), despite me adding all the required meta data.
