When I run loot it keeps sorting the 3 Scarcity plugins after SRLE Extendedesp. I did the Meta rules. Am I missing something?

Here is a thought for the beginning of your Integration guide. SRLE Extended Mod Suggestions
Razorsedge877 replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
this is pretty exciting having an extension of SRLE. You have definatly added alot of mods to the guide that I wish Neo would add as base SRLE. I know everyone wants to stuff as much in Skyrim as possible. Please start being very selective about the mods/merges you start adding. I have made comments about fluff mods before. And I hope that you don't start making merges that require Conflict resolution. How many Followers/Armors/weapons do you really need to add to the game. I'm not trying to be negative or no fun but your guide is at a pretty good state and at some point if people want extras they need to start adding to their own guides. as I read my comment I see how it can be turned against me. I know there are a few more good mods out there that deserve to be in this guide just please be very selective. -
Under the Install section of your guide you list Revenge of the Enemies Patches in this order: Rebirth Monster - OBIS Patch Rebirth Monster - SIC Patch Rebirth Monster - HLE SIC Patch Rebirth Monster - OBISDB Patch Rebirth Monster - USLEEP Patch Rebirth Monster - Clothing and Clutter Fixes Patch Under the Merging Section of your guide you list Revenge of the Enemies Patches in this order: Rebirth Monster - USLEEP Patch Rebirth Monster - Clothing and Clutter Fixes Patch Rebirth Monster - SIC Patch Rebirth Monster - HLE SIC Patch Rebirth Monster - OBIS Patch Rebirth Monster - OBISDB Patch I guess the merge order has a lot to do with the Load order of plugins but my two questions are this. 1. Under the Install section can we just order the Patches Alphabetically? 2. If we can't install them Alphabetically can you change the install order to match the merge order
-
Under your merge section you should now be able to remove "You must delete the SRLE merge from the merge tab than do the following" since we have now set up a merge plugins profile for this guide

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Razorsedge877 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Hello Neo. Can you comment on a post I made in the SRLE - Extended Forum. I think that because the Main Mod and optional mod have the same esp names that in order for Merge plugins to work correctly you must merge the two mods in MO or else the optional will not allow the main files assets to be copied into the merge. My post: 10. I'm thinking the Lily Main File and Optional File should be merged in MO install pane for Merge Plugin Purposes but research should be done because it would be nice to keep them separate mods. The optional is just an esp so that would keep the files (Assets) located in the main mod from being merged 11. I'm thinking question number 10 also includes Faction Crossbows. Neo's mod labeling Rules might not always apply when doing merges (Main Files Updates Patches ect) -
Hi Darth. Here are a few suggestions for your guide. I hope the help. Please make sure I made no mistakes. Thank you for the hard work you put into the guide 1. Make directions to start a profile in Merge Plugin called Skyrim Revisited - Extended so that you can also make your merges without deleting his merges from Merge Plugins. Ex RS Children. GamerPoets video talks about Merge plugins profiles 2. Highlight all Special Installation: directions in yellow so that they stick out. 3. Change No Animals Report Crimes from: Author: Pharros Version: 1.11 Special Installation: Use the Optional 0 NARC - Dawnguard and Dragonborn and Falskaar THE SKYTEST PATCH IS NOT NEEDED IT HAS BEEN INTERGRATED INTO CONFLICT RESOULTION To: Author: Pharros Version: 1.11 Use the Optional 0 NARC - Dawnguard and Dragonborn and Falskaar Special Installation: THE SKYTEST PATCH IS NOT NEEDED IT HAS BEEN INTERGRATED INTO CONFLICT RESOULTION 4. Instead of your ELFX install instructions. Why cant we just reinstall the mod and call it Enhanced Lights and FX - SRLE Extended 5. Can you move Real Skyrim Snowflakes below Fences of Skyrim just to maintain order or is there a reason you have the guide ordered this way? 6. Add a file path to ASIS Block list. My block list was empty. I'm wondering if this is normal because I think there are other mods between the two guides that should be on the list 7. Can you move Enhanced Mighty Dragons below Dragon Combat Overhaul to maintain order? 8. Do you still need the LOOT Update fore Males of Skyrim? You have hidden the esp 9. Move Bijin NPC Customizer above Bijin Warmaidens Customizer 10. Neo's mod labeling Rules might not always apply when doing merges (Main Files Updates Patches ect) 12. Is Imperious - Races of Skyrim Worth keeping with the Brawl Bug? Immersion Breaking plus just another thing to remember while playing. Kinda ruins a well put together Guide just for a high mod count 13. Move Extra CACO Compatibility Patches - Art Of The Catch and Extra CACO Compatibility Patches - Immersive Creatures from Compatibility Patch section to Recipe and Stat Changers section. It is nice to keep all mods grouped together that are in a merge 14. I can't find a date at the top of your guide saying when it was last updated

It adds no clutter. I name My downloads and mod installs in this fashion - Main File, Main File Update #1, Main File Update #2, Misc File, Optional File, Patch, ect. In my head it keeps MO organized, If I hit the name tab of MO it sorts all of my mods alphabetically and in order of importance from Main files to Patches (and if you think about if priority tab wise it keeps them organized in order of importance also), Some of them are long winded but what can you do. I keep a backup of everything because the few extra steps are way easier than re downloading everything. My internet is slow. One thing that would make it easier is if Mod authors named their mods more uniformly instead of trying to put their stamp on it in order to stick out from the crowd
-
Here is how I label and install my mods in MO. I hope this is correct and helps clear things up RS Children example -RS Children Overhaul - Main File = with Legendary, USLEEP esp (Do Not Activate - Merged) I merged my USLEEP replacer esp because mods with no esps wont get merged, Than I MANUALLY copy the ESM to the merge (notice I say Manually to keep people from thinking I let Merge Plugins merge the ESM) -RS Children Overhaul - Patch - Books of Skyrim Patch (Do Not Activate - Merged) -RS Children Overhaul - Patch - Cutting Room Floor (Do Not Activate - Merged) -RS Children Patches - Patch for Falskaar (Do Not Activate - Merged) -RS Children Patches - Patch for Wyrmstooth (Do Not Activate - Merged) Even Better Quest Objectives -Even Better Quest Objectives - Main File+Update+Cutting Room Floor Update (Do Not Activate - Merged) (SRLE - Legendary) (another example where you merge updates with a file and than you can merge plugin the mod and than MANUALLY copy the Even Better Quest Objectives esp into the merged file Traps make noise (I know this isn't a merge but an example of a mod with optional files) -Traps Make Noise - Main File - and are Dangerous -Traps Make Noise - Optional File - Follower Safety Patch -Traps Make Noise - Optional File - Mining Makes Noise CCO Edition I for a long time have been keeping main files, updates, patches and optionals in separate mod files which after asking Neo a question found this to be wrong. I now always merge updates and replacer esps whether they are for the main mod, optional mod, or patches, and I keep everything else separate to allow you to pick and chose for play thru builds.
-
I am currently installing all of my mods due to merge mistakes. I have talked about this a lil with neo. Only Mods with esps in the folders get merged (i guess unless you are merging ESMs which most dont recommend doing) . So when installing mods in MO you should merge all main mods and updates, and all optional and patches you can install as seperate mods. If you look in his forum I just brought this question up over the weekend. I wish Gamer Poets would do a second video. If there is documentation on it I havent found it but I never tried google yet either.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Razorsedge877 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I never intended merging the ESM. Like you my intension are to Copy the ESM to the merge. I used to install all mods, patches, updates, ect, ect as seperate mods untill I learned from you that only the files (assets) with esps got merged. So I am guessing most of my merges were done wrong. So now I have a new set of questions and a way to go before I trust I am doing things right -

In the instructions you provide for RS Children Overhaul. 1. Couldn't we get away with just downloading the main file and Books of Skyrim Patch 2. Remove RSChildren - Complete esp and RSChildren_PatchUSKP.esp from the main file than merge the new RSChildren_CompleteUSKP.esp that you linked in the instruction. This would make the main mod basically called RS Children Overhaul - Legendary - USLEEP Edition. 3. This would than allow us to Merge RS Children Overhaul, Books of Skyrim Patch, Falskaar Patch, and Wyrmstooth Patch into one Merge since the main mod will now have an esp in it. (I don't know if I am wrong or not but the files from the main mod don't get merged with the files from the patches since we don't merge the esm). After doing the merge we than could copy RSChildrens ESM into the new merge allowing us to deactivate all of these mods -
I did the same type of merge with Climates of Tamriel also. I tried getting Neo to add notes about this. maybe I will try asking him again. I'm not sure if you should add NPc Retextures Category to the new Followers category kind of makes sense having it after Skin and Body. Well time to head out the door. Cant wait to see what you decide
-
Sorry to be a pain in the butt. I just had another thought. Maybe you could rename the followers category to Followers and NPCs (or something like that) and move it under the Skin and Body category. I know that Inconsequential NPCs fits in with ORBIS, but the way I try to justify the two being in separate categories is that ORBIS changes NPC Behavior, and Inconsequential NPCs adds NPCs (kind of like followers are extra NPCs being added to the game). Man I hope I Typed that so that you understand my thought lol. And thanks for letting me help out. Its fun trying to help make your and Neo's guide work well together from an users point of view 1. You say reactive RS Children Main Mod in red on the on the SRLE extended page. Why would I deactivate it in the first place? Its not part of a merge. 2. Shouldn't you list the RS Children Overhaul Main Mod on the integrated page since it is separate from RS Children Merged?
-
I messed up on an install I already reinstalled so I dont get the bak file.
-
looking at the Conflict tab I think it would be a good idea to move the NPC Retextures category right after the skin and body category instead of having it so far down in the guide. You can even move the mods into Skin and body but I understand you wanting them in their own category. Maybe you could redo the RS Children Merged Patch leaving out the RS Children Inconsequential NPCs Patch, and than you can either put the RS Children Inconsequential NPCs Patch right after Inconsequential NPCs or you could put it in the Compatibility Patch section of the guide.
-
Is there a reason you have Clothing and Clutter Fixes in your guide? I dont see any difference in it other than the Interesting NPCs Patch, Why would we have to deactivate the original mod? In my Left Pane of MO it shows Inconsequential NPCs main Mod overwrites the Inconsequential NPCs RS Children patch in RS Children Merged. Is this correct?

Edit Let me rephrase that. I do trust LOOT. I don't trust that I have the same load order as Neo -

It would be nice to have a load order posted. For some reason I trusted BOSS way more than I trust loot -

I did not say merge. I know you should not merge ESM. I said copy, that way I can disable all of the mods that were merged and than when I activate the merged mod it will still put in the ESM or master esp. Considering I am copying the ESM or esp into the merged folder post merge, in my mind nothing should be hurt. I am in the process of redoing my merges and the two examples I listed above are the only two mods in the guide that I can think of where you still have to keep the main mods active -
