SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
StoneyMason replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Oh okay I see. The 50 Folder Apophysis thing relates to a folder in the Improved Closedfaced Helmets - PATCHES v1 archive. I didn't put together that it was referencing that file. -

Minor but the post install instructions for this mod are worded a bit confusingly. I figured it out but it took a second. Instructions should reference the two mods by name. As in move the meshes folder from the earlier installed Apophysis Dragon Priest Masks to overwrite the meshes folder in this mod. [improved closefaced helmets - SRLE Extended LOTD] Post installation: Manually install from the archive 50 Apophysis/meshes folder and overwrite when asked -

I believe that part is in the prerequisites section which it links to at the beginning of the guide Special installation: extract to TES5Edit\Edit Scripts Then go to TES5Edit\Edit Scripts\lib from there copy mteFunctions.pas to the main Edit Scripts folder https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Darth_mathias/SRLE_Extended_Legacy_of_The_Dragonborn_Prerequisites -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn

Just a head ups if anyone was actively putting a build together at the moment. The most current listing asks for the 3.0 beta version but from what I could tell those files are only in the 2.0 version. Maybe a known thing already but just posting in case anyone else comes across it. CORE Serious HD Retexture Skyrim - 3.0beta - Z4G4 Files to download : MAIN FILES - Serious hd retexture Skyrim LANDSCAPE 2K 3.0 beta Special Installation: Install only the following file(s) and/or folder(s): textures/dlc02/landscape/dlc2road01ash01.dds textures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_darkcliff_01*.dds textures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_rocks_01*.dds textures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_tundra_01.dds textures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_tundra_03*.dds -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
StoneyMason replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Just came across this a few days ago. I've always wanted to do a Legacy of The Dragonborn playthough. Thanks for all your work. -
I find RWLE to not be bad when it comes to nights. Although I find I still tend to go to bed early and just start my days early in the morning since I don't like dealing with the infrared stuff. I think I tried the guide a year ago orignally when Darker Nights was the recommended one and yeah that was brutal. Too dark for me.

Character with Lazy Eye
StoneyMason replied to StoneyMason's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Do you mean this? https://www.dropbox.com/s/vsnt4ne3jswj791/FCO%20EYE%20FIX.rar?dl=0 Because I grabbed that last night and it fixed the last of the issues which was my player character having the reptile eyes. -
Character with Lazy Eye
StoneyMason replied to StoneyMason's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
This really will be the last post on it. Just to give a final bit of closure. It did fix it for the characters I noticed who had an issue. But it created a double lizard eye effect on my player character when I used tfc in the console to look around on the free cam at him. I don't really care about that though since I don't normally look at my character but perhaps it creates the effect on other npc characters... Not sure. But just wanted to give a warning if anybody finds this later in a google or step forum search and has the same issue. -
Character with Lazy Eye

Searched again on this forum and realized the issue had already been reported in a feedback thread in this post. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/4727-fear-and-loathing-in-new-vegas-feedback/?p=154608 I used the solution of downloading eyes mod and sorting it after fco and that seems to have fixed it. Sorry about the posts. -
Character with Lazy Eye
StoneyMason replied to StoneyMason's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Actually noticed Steve Nash has the issue also. Never noticed before based on how he was sitting in the original casino. I guess its some or all of the characters added by the hotel mod. -
Went to buck's place for the first time and noticed Anna has a lazy eye. Not sure if it's something I did wrong during the install or not but I found a google link that mentions the issue may be related to an interaction between Fallout Character Overhaul and The Steve Bison hotel mod. Very minor issue and she is the only character I've come across where I noticed it, but just thought I'd let you know. I searched but couldn't find anything on here. Here is the link that mentions the issue. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1257503-fallout-character-overhaul/page-393&do=findComment&comment=39802705 And here is my image below

Had this issue tonight and can confirm for me at least the issue was the load order for RWLE. I had them in two separate slots and they ended being placed in front of the merged patch and the bashed patch. I must have missed this instruction in the guide that they need to be last but switching them to last fixed the issue.

GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
StoneyMason replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
Finished up a fear and loathing install about a week ago and things are going very well. No major bugs or errors so far knock on wood and I'm about 10 levels into the game. I just wanted to say thank you for all the people who spend their free time updating the guide and responding to questions. You are very much appreciated. I tried this guide about a year ago and the installation was a mess but that's probably because I ended up adding some mods on my own and probably also screwed up a few things during the regular installation of the vanilla stuff. There were a few small hiccups this go around but I was generally able to google around for some solutions on here or on a few other forums. -
One of my random starts with alternate start put me in an area that had this issue. I eventually started in the default location and it was fine there but I have a feeling if I come across that same area in my playthrough, it will have the same issue.

Alternative to using Merge Patches (Standalone)?
StoneyMason replied to vranacat's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
Starting to mod New Vegas via the Fear and Loathing Step guide and ran into this same issue. Removing -profile FalloutNV" from the arguments field in Mod Organizer as mentioned above seemed to fix this as I was having the same access violation error issue.
