  1. MFG console has a conflict with extended ui and my game instantly crashes when I install MFG console, regardless of whether it overwrites or not. I may just start over and not deviate from the guide at all and see if it fixes my issues, but all I did was use a different variation of the world map, omitted your landscapes in favor of skyrim hd landscapes (and its parallax patch), different weather mod (snowfall enb + snowfall weathers which are based on VW anyways), added multiple adoptions, quickloot, helmet toggle, enhanced camera, customizable camera, and a different idle pose. I didn't think any of these would cause these graphical issues I'm having.
  2. How can I find the source of a texture or mesh? I'm getting this in two areas in windhelm and I'm trying to find out what mod is causing it. I've made a few deviations that I thought were minor in the guide so it could have been from that, but nothing I omitted or added seems like a culprit. https://imgur.com/a/dynwV They look like possibly lod walls? Or just really stretched textures. I've tried hiding various meshes and textures that I thought might be the issue but I can't seem to track it down, is there a console command or mod or anything that'll tell me the name of these textures/meshes?
  3. I do have the ELFX - Exteriors.esp installed, it's really high up in the load order though (priority 29 which is where LOOT placed it). Would it be a load order issue? I don't see anything overwriting the mesh itself.
  4. I'm actually not using that one, I checked to see if I have that nif and it seems to be provided by ELFX.
  5. Yeah I am using the vivid with stone roads variation, the guide suggested a different one. I didn't think using a different variation would cause an issue, I guess I'll plug in the suggested variation and see if the issue persists.

  8. On the topic of dragons, I had an issue where the first dragon (the one at the tower) was nearly impossible. I had to cheese it using the tower and it took about 45 minutes to kill with about another hour of dying horribly to it trying to figure out a strategy. I was playing a mage character and used ice spells after fire ones were miserably weak.

  10. What I did to try and save space is set Merge Plugins to merge only ESPs and not assets.

  12. I have a question - should you be able to interact with the bathing stations placed in various inn rooms/bedrooms? I try bringing up the wheel menu and bathing but it says not enough water or something and nothing happens. Went to the Bathing in Skyrim page and didn't see any info about this but I may be blind.
  13. When I went through the guide I just used CTRL+F and for LOOT i searched "metadata" and for Wrye Bash I just searched "bash tag". Had no issues with finding things at all, I didn't feel like a table would be desirable. Maybe if anything a note right before merging mods (since in the case of Faction Crossbows bash tags need to be removed prior to merge) that reminds people to double check LOOT rules and bash tags with CTRL+F.
  14. Oh, absolutely, but "large amount of space" means different things to different people. I'm coming from a history of having... 10 gb mod folders max. I knew this would be bigger but I was estimating like 30-40 gb, not almost 80. I just think it wouldn't hurt to put it on a prereqs page or something.
  15. Oh wow, so this consolidates all of the textures into a single mod folder? This actually sounds fantastic - I had thought of trying to do this manually but wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not. I very well may try out this tool. Not sure if it would be enough but it's worth a shot.
  16. It may be worth noting how much space this guide uses somewhere, unless I've missed it and it's already listed in the guide. I thought I could fit this all on my SSD the first time but after getting halfway through I realized I can't, so I tried putting it on my green caviar hdd and it's unplayable - WAY too much stutter. My mod folder is 78 GB if you need a number. I did have a couple minor deviations from the guide but nothing that was large in size iirc. Going to have to revisit this when I get a new SSD. Super bummed haha.
  17. I'm using only the SRLE LOTD guide, nothing at all from SRLE base. It was my understanding the guides were properly merged barring the occasional oopsies so I stuck with the LOTD guide only and neither of those mods were installed in the process. Perseid's inns and taverns - realistic room rental basic is installed, but no MCM menu is present.
  18. In the MCM Settings section there's no BFS Effect (guessing this refers to Burn Shock Freeze which isn't in the guide anywhere else) or inns and taverns. Also, in the Frostfall MCM section I don't see a section for setting aspect ratio in my MCM. There were a couple other minor things like mislabeled sections that are likely due to MCM menus being updated since the guide was written initially, but I forgot to take note of all of them.
  19. I'm seeing an error in Helgen reborn and the RSC - Helgen Reborn patch. Errors[0]: Balok_Act_MnGirl "Hanna" [NPC_:0910865D] Errors[1]: NPC_ \ Tint Layers \ Layer \ TINI - Tint Index -> <Tint layer index 2 not found in BretonRaceChild "Breton Child" [RACE:0002C65C]> Easy fix, just change it to 24. Didn't see this anywhere in the guide but merge plugins warns you of the error when trying to do the merge. It needs to be edited in both Helgen Reborn and the RSC patch.

  21. I agree, it would make more sense to do it that way for the sake of testing your LO as you go, as well. As it stands you install DSR patches before several weapon mods and LotD before several mods that need it's patches. And with a merged patch you can't test those mods as you build the LO since you'll have missing masters.
  22. I just went through the whole list of mods and clicked /most/ links (I stopped at conflict resolution since it's not updated), and some things I noticed: Wildcat link points to Septim HD, Dual Wield Parrying link points to Arena level up sound, Clothing and Clutter fixes is listed twice, and I couldn't find (strangely in ANY of: SRLE base, LotD locked, or merged guides) anywhere that has you install Improved closefaced helmets, so you end up with a bunch of patches with it listed as master without the mod. I remember in the past with imp_helm_legend.esp there was a custom esp we were suppose to use but I looked through all of the guides and I must be some combination of dumb, crazy, and blind because I can't find it now.
  23. I'm going through the guide and installing it right now and I noticed that under The Notice Board, you list the Dragonborn patch to download and install, but right under it you remove the esp. The esp is the only content in the Dragonborn patch, so if we're removing the esp there's no need to download it, unless removing it is an error?

  25. Is there any specific reason for not including Archery Gameplay Overhaul? Or is it something that could be fairly easily plugged in without concern?
