SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified

Requiem's difficulty depends immensely on your build/playstyle, equipment and meta-game knowledge about mechanics etc. If you are unfamiliar with Requiem you don't need any additional difficulty. The people that complain about Requiem getting too easy are usually powergaming the crap out of it. Requiem gives you quite some opportunities to cheese it but whether you take them and ruin your own fun is up to you. In my book prioritizing roleplaying over powergaming is a better way to keep Requiem fun and challenging in the late game than adding stuff like RotE or Deadly Dragons. That's really the best advice. -

Tested all orbs I know of and the respective platforms as well as the spell and not a single autosave or freeze. Inigo and Mjoll made the trips without problems too. Thank you very much. -

No you use ENB Organizer to add presets to it. In the preset selection you have an add button that opens up an window where you can browse for either archive or folder for the preset files. https://imgur.com/a/aiA7I -

You don't need ENB Organizer, it's just very handy if you are switching between different presets once you have set it up. If you don't plan on switching and want to use just one preset and you get it working with manual installation stick to that for now. Once you are familiar with the file/folder structure of ENB inside the Skyrim directory you can set up the preset folders for ENB Organizer properly. And I wouldn't recommend installing any ENB from archive, if there are optionals or whatnot in the archive you will likely end up with an messed up folder structure. Unpack what you need from the archive to a seperate folder make necessary changes to enblocal.ini there and then install the preset in ENB Organizer from that folder. Make sure the folder structure inside "ENB Organizer\Games\TESV\Presets\Presetname" is exactly the same as it needs to be inside the Skyrim directory. PS: Same goes for the binaries. Make sure "ENB Organizer\Games\TESV\Binaries\binaryversion" has exactly the same structure as needed in the Skyrim directory. -

You're the best! Can you be my father? Err ... forget the last part, but you are awesome! Works like a charm, freezes are gone. I don't want to sound to demanding but could you do the same for "cwiholdscollegescript", "CWIQuartersOrbScript" and "CWITeleportSpellScript" which port you back to the College, to the Archmage Sanctuary and the "Temporal Shift" spell/power you find there and have also the autosaves and thus cause freezes. -

All vanilla autosave options are disabled. These autosaves seem to be made by Immersive College, probably by the script handling the teleport. -

I encountered a problem with the teleportation orbs from Immersive College of Winterhold that you can use once you are archmage. Most of the time the game freezes after the port. There are a few reports of this on the mod's Nexus page but no solution. It seems the freeze is caused by the mod making an autosave while loading the new cell. Sadly there is no option to disable this autosave in the MCM. Can someone with more technical expertise have a look at that? Is there a possibilty to turn off this autosave? -

nice addition, I found almost all enemies in Requiem had a very organic difficulty, believable strenghts and weaknesses, invisible entities are the one exception I encountered -

Finished the Dark Brotherhood questline and had no issues with Motierre in the Bannered Mare, but I don't use radioactive, so the problem reported before might be caused by some of the ECTV additions. Finding Goldbrand in the Katariah brought the balancing issues with LotD to attention again. For comparison a deadric sword has 14 base damage in Skyrim.esm and Requiem.esp, 15 base damage in WAFR and KFR. Immersive Weapons adds Goldbrand to the champion of Boetiah, the IW Goldbrand has 15 base damage, and is altered by the LotD IW patch to a replica. Both replica and Goldbrand from LotD have a base damage of 22. It's not so much that LotD artifacts are unbalanced in Requiem but unbalanced in the base game which is then forwarded by the Reqtificator. So a patch that nerfs the damage down to sensible values for vanilla should be sufficient. -

Could you be more specific about that DB NPC? Do you mean Motierre at the end of the questline? Didn't encounter a single issue with the DB questline so far, but had to stop before disguising as Gourmet as the LotD questgiver Greigor won't be available later, so I need to pursue his quest first and travel to Solstheim. 4. could you be more specific, the excavation tree is mostly about enhancing the gain from dig sites, explorer tree is mostly carry weight to a maximum of 100 which equals 1 bag of holding (there are 4 in Requiem afaik) so no big deal either, academia tree: resistances are nice but not OP, increase in critical chance and damage no big deal either since critical damage in Requiem is rather insignificant, the remaining ones I haven't had so far but being ignored by draugr, taming chaurus/automatons sound problematic indeed. 2./3./5. Agreed, but the balancing problem begins with LotD itself, even in an otherwise vanilla Skyrim this mod is unbalanced, Sword of the Ancient Tongues for example has been totally OP until the mod author had time to play his own mod and see this for himself. Since the mod now seems to be in its final iteration, maybe SirJesto is willing to have a look at rebalancing the mod or at least the Requiem patch? Something to consider is Requiem in itself is not that balanced. The difficulty for different builds can be immense, e.g. a pure destruction mage can wreck everything, while a light armored ranger with hunting bow and knife without magic stands no chance against centurions or dremora unless he has some insane endgame equipment, enchantings, alchemy or deadric artifacts. So while I agree, that rebalancing should be done, the by far easiest way is self restraint on the player side. If some LotD items are to powerful, put them on display and be done with it. At the end the player himself is responsible for playing in a way he has fun with. -

yeah, noticed that with MIL, fortify speed potion worth of 20k septims From what I recall the issues with the Collectables were either displays not working and resolved by rerunning ReLinker or mismatches between display and onject names. Latter was explained by Icecreamassassin being caused by bad labeling in the BadGremlin mods, but every object has a working display. -

Many thanks to Diana for reviving the guide! Ran into a small issue with Interesting NPCs. At the end of the quest "Brother and Keeper" you get rewarded with "Griffith's Deadric Gauntlets". Currently it's more of a penalty in form of carry weight since they are flagged non-playable by Nerimir's patch which is forwarded by jd's patch. The flag should be removed since it's a quest reward. I know deadric stuff is powerful and one might consider the quest too easy for such a reward but the same is true for the Ebony Blade quest for example. Or alternatively change the quest to give a different reward. -

that's something that should be reported to the LotD patch central, as the provided patches should be balancing those items personally, if I come across an item that seems too strong or imbalanced at the time or at all, I just put it on display in the museum and don't use it -

Not sure if this helps you, but I remember issues with Talos statue, though I think it was the one in Windhelm temple. Neovalen just used this mod with the NSUTR replacer https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62655/? -

Tried using dyndolod on a lower setting? High can be pretty taxing. -

I thought several times about making the suggestion to colour those special notifications. It happens quite often that someone overlooks them. Guess that happens when you are in kind of a routine when merging etc. Having those notification in yellow or so might help make them more noticeable. -

Guess that's the ICH issue. Check your ICH installation. Did you use Neo's replacer esp? Check your ICH merge, did you rename the merge as in the notification? -

That's true, had the guide finished before the transition to standalone and stopped updating when the transition began. Few exceptions being Campfire or Frostfall that have almost no dependencies with the rest of the guide or some WLSO changes. Looking back at the trouble with CWO/DCO, Heavy Armory and whatnot, it was a good decision to basically keep the setup as it is once in a stable state and just leave it there for the playthrough. -

The only thing that comes to mind is Axonis' Minor Arcana (it's part of the guide) that has some changes to the civil war, he's the one who patched CWO for Requiem, just look at the RMA description page and see if it is sufficient for you. -

4. 1.9.1 is the Campfire version you should use anyway, as the newer haven't been patched for Requiem yet. JD said it already. Smithing and Enchanting can be quite powerful, to make the perk investment in them viable. Gaining access to the benefits without having to pay for it with precious perk points will disturb balancing. -

1. ETaC doesn't touch major cities. Get the ID of the wall with the console and check with xEdit what is placing it there. 2. Check your system usage with Skyrim Performance Monitor. 4. When you start the game Campfire creates a profile with your settings, the file is in MO's overwrite folder. Drag and drop it into the Campfire mod. -

Checking your ICH installation was the reply to that. Be sure to use Neo's replacer and be sure to rename the ICH merge as told you by the guide. And as JD said make sure all patches and master are loaded and in the correct order. -

That's normal in tcl mode. As for your other problem, check your ICH installation. Did you use Neo's replacer esp and did you rename the merge imp_helm_legend ?
