SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified

So this CTD on save issue on a new character doesn't happen to you? That's strange since I think every user that was active on this forum in the last days/weeks has experienced it. For me it happens every time I start a new game, but once I managed to save on a character it never happens again on this character (70h+ on one without any further issues). So after this strange player.kill start the guide is quite playable, but I think everyone agrees that we should get rid of that issue nonetheless. -

Will try that update interval as well. Thanks. Yeah would have preferred a nonscripted version with just static lights as well. Wouldn't have bothered me if they are on 24h, have even seen this in RL in Norway. -

I honestly have not the slightest idea, what's going on there. Just some trial and error based on what I found while googling the issue on my part. But yeah for a hosted guide something like that to be able to play is not really acceptable. I wish I could help to determine what the actual problem is and how to properly solve it but that goes beyond my understanding I'm afraid. As Claralux was mentioned earlier, I have also issues with it. It doesn't clean up after itself properly, resulting in stacking lightsources. Most noticable were overly bright glowballs and stacking torches on paths. Deactivating the torches on paths and setting the glow to 0 seem to have improved the situation. According to the mod author this seems to happen when there are to many scripts running/Papyrus is too busy. But from the game mechanic scripts of Requiem, the scripts of Wet&Cold and Frostfall and whatnot, switching lights on and off has by far the lowest priority for me. -

It may sound stupid but try the following: Start a new game, after the opening scene wait until all mods have initialized. Make a manual save. Open the Skyrim Unbound MCM and start the game. After the character creation, when you are in Skyrim open the console and type "player.kill". Reload the save you made and choose your Skyrim Unbound settings, create your character and when you finally end in Skyrim try to save. -

I think any issues with DynDOLOD are best asked/reported in the DynDOLOD subforum hosted by Sheson himself. Just keep your firstborn at hand. -

If it's only about having those weapons on display, the easiest solution is probably looking up their IDs in xEdit or with the "help" console command and just add them via console to your inventory. I think the Legacy wiki should have the needed IDs as well. -

All other Nordic weapons had the BtC stats forwarded in the CR patch. -

There is a small oversight in the CR patch regarding the Nordic Greatsword. It has the already reqtified keyword from BtC but only the base stats from KFR so it's way too weak. BtC stats need to be forwarded as well. Users can just drag & drop the values in xEdit until jd updates the patch. -

You can use the settings shown in this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S6cpCwTezE from 9:45 on. Since you use MP the first time, might not be a bad idea to watch it. -

Got attacked by Elrindir in the Drunken Huntsman today and entering was considered trespassing. It turned out the reason for this was a missing public area flag. It is missing in the wlso.esp as well as in the crpatch. I added the flag in both files with xEdit and Elrindir behaved normal again and entering wasn't considered trespassing. -

It absolutely does in my book. Belmont's guide doesn't include LotD and 3DNPC which is a huge loss in my opinion, so I prefer your guide. Two small things, the male guard armors (stormcloak style) have a black/missing texture on the sleeve on exactly the part that is sleeveless for the female model. And it seems brumbek has changed the texture paths for mine woodpost after the latest Noble Skyrim SMIM patch and they currently look really ugly. The issue is mentioned on the Nexus in this post https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1186756-nobleskyrimmod-hd-2k/?p=45934260 that mentions which textures have to be overwritten to fix it. -

So, I finished the core guide today, used the patches from the dropbox and, you guessed it, CTD on save. After googling a while and not being convinced by that kill reload stuff I found a recommendation to lower the "uExterior Cell Buffer" value in the skyrim.ini. I tested the recommended value of 24 and that fixed the issues for me. I think the lowered house prizes could be related to the fact that carry weight is a ressource you need to manage in early game, to give the player easier access to a safe storage place. Besides if you consider that the default carry weight in Requiem is 100 and coins have weight, having the vanilla amount of coin necessary for most houses would lead to annoying overencumberance. -

Just a small oversight in the MISC merge: Left pane placement: Directly after MISC - Vendor Sale Delay - GONE - Patches.is only "MISC - Vendor Sale Delay - GONE" since the guide isn't modular anymore -

He was talking about the official patches from ETaC, there are currently no FOMOD instructions in the guide which of them to install but instructions to download them and they are mentioned on the integration page. From your post I take it, that those patches are obsolete now and covered by your CR. So if the guide is fully upgraded, the download instructions for them won't be thare anymore . Is that right? Maybe you could include a note at this point: [NPC Retextures Merge Tips] Post Installation: NPC Retextures Merge Tips here. to first install the Ethereal Elven Overhaul patches that will be installed later in the guide before building the merge. Might prevent people from doing it twice :) -

The optional part of the guide, like ECTV additions, is not fully updated yet: Those patches will still be necessary. -

Not that I remember, it was mentioned that for various reasons the guide is no longer modular, but to my knowledge they weren't specified further. -

GamerPoets tutorials are very good imho. Maybe with the missing images it could be linked within the guide for properly setting up Merge Plugins. Ok then your issues lie somewhere else. EDIT: The integration page contains Dragon Stalking Fix, but the Installation Guide doesn't. Is this an oversight to remove it from the integration page from earlier guide versions or is it missing in the main guide? -

I don't know if it's related to the problems you two have, but since STEP deleted all images some time ago, the pictures showing how to setup Merge Plugins added to the instructions https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition/Mod_Merging are missing as well. So what source did you two use for Merge Plugins settings? -

Just played through Helgen Reborn and it's far from stupidly easy, especially the dungeons. The mod uses mostly vanilla enemies, not custom ones, so they all have their appropriate Requiem perks and abilities. Vampires, dremoras and dragonpriests are serious foes, and even bandits can be dangerous in large numbers. -

Haven't played with Skyrim Unbound, so I don't know what's different to ASLAL, but with the latter I waited in the starting cell until all mods were finished initializing, same after choosing a start and being released into the world. I would wait until all mods have run their scripts and set themselves up properly and not save the game until they are done. -

I'm currently running this guide in a pre-standalone iteration, it's gone smoothly for over 700h, so I don't want to change anything there. On the other hand I'm eager to try the updated guide for a new char. To keep things clean I wanted to ask if it's possible to just install MO a second time in a different location and install the updated guide there. And if I can do this is there anything special to consider? At the end of the guide you will run a programm called ReLinker, this will basically look at what esp you have merged and than edit the scripts of other mods like LotD and replaces esp names with the merge so the merged mods are properly recognized. E.g. if you merge the BadGremlin mods the ReLinker will alter the script the detects the sperate mods to detect the merge and activate the displays for the merged mods.
