  1. Minor change needed on Merge Page. The CCF merge requires TMB merged as a master. As such, TMB merge should be moved on top of it. Otherwise, you can't follow the guide from top to bottom.
  2. Heavy Armory was updated. Now there are no longer 2 separate files for DG and DB. Just one file. Also, it claims to be CCOR compatible. Does that mean we should skip installing the CCO patch?
  3. Dammit. SMC eating up over 4GB of VRAM is painful. Even more painful now that the guide has convinced me to dual-boot W10 and W7 so I can actually use every bit of performance from my GTX 1070.
  4. Found an issue with the Relighting Skyrim merge. It throws this error in Merge Plugins:
  5. If you're spending 20 hours to patch it..., any chance it'll show up in the guide?
  6. I noticed that Firey and Icey Salts were removed. However, there are still patches for those two mods in the Requiem Merge.
  7. AFAIK, Better Males is fine with WSCO. So is UUNP body (I use it myself). However, with UUNP bodies, I HAVE noticed some seams on some characters, not all. The Book of UUNP works fine in my install as well, although I have also installed the CCOR and WAFR patches.
  8. Sure, please let me have it. I'll report back if I find whatever the real issue is.
  9. I'm fairly certain it affects everyone added by Dawn of Skyrim, but Riverwood is where I've seen all the NPCs added by it have the grey face (males included). I found a partial solution. 1) Delete SkinTone.dds from Optimized Vanilla Textures - HD. Do this so that CK won't throw an error about the file not being the expected size. 2) Open Creation Kit, load ECTV Merged.esp and its masters, then find the NPC in Actors. Open the NPC, click "preview" Head, then close it. Use Ctrl-F4 to export textures. Doing this results in the grey face going away for the specific NPCs that you previewed in CK. HOWEVER, this also results in the black body bug being introduced. I'm sure that these things are just the symptom of some larger issues. Again, if there's any chance of instructions for making our own ECTV Merged.esp, that will help immensely in narrowing down the issue. Yes. I re-did the entire Finish Line page instructions for that matter.
  10. Yes on all counts. According to console info, the NPC was placed by ECTV Merged, but last change is by RFTI. This is also a brand new game.
  11. Weird bug with ECTV. Every NPC inserted by ECTV Merged.esp has the grey face bug (as far as I've seen anyway). Looking in TES5Edit the FTST records are blank. For example, for NPC Corianna in Riverwood (baseID: bf99053a). I think either ECTV Merged.esp has to be moved up the load order, or NPC Retexture has to be moved down. But ECTV merged also has a pile of non-NPC related stuff attached, so I'm not sure what to do.
  12. The WLSO patches file on Nexus still includes ele__ectv-merged.esp, but that esp file is not included in the merge instructions (for WLSO Variant 3 Vivid Weathers). Should we include it in the WLSO merge anyway?
  13. Yeap, now I did. Previously I was using the Neovalen version of RS that's named RelightingSkyrim-FULL.esp. Now I am using the following items merged into one: RelightingSkyrim.espRelightingSkyrim_DB.espRelightingSkyrim_DG.espRelightingSkyrim_HF.esprelighting-skyrim__3dnpc.esprelighting-skyrim__aslal.esprelighting-skyrim__crf.esprelighting-skyrim__dbm.esprelighting-skyrim__inigo.esprelighting-skyrim__requiem.esprelighting-skyrim__rma.esprelighting-skyrim__sofia.esprelighting-skyrim__undeath.esprelighting-skyrim__usleep.esp That's what solved it. The mod description needs to be fixed, and a fomod guide added.
  14. I found the error. The instructions for Relighting Skyrim says: "This mod aims to make all light come straight from a light source and to have all light sources make light. For the purposes of this guide, only a subset of this mod is used to be compatible with ELFX and thus the alternate download location. Please endorse the original mod as it is really good work" Which is what the base SRLE install says as well. The full mod actually has a fomod as well, which the instructions do not indicate which options to take. As such, I was using the base SRLE install file (with just a subset of the files) instead of the full mod. Reinstalling the full mod, picking options in the fomod using educated guesses, made it work. My Skyrim looks ******* epic now! All that's left is to upgrade some textures, because closer inspection of this epic looking world reveals some really nasty textures. Oh, I would also like to mention that TMB Vanilla Armors has some strange issues. Like, the Steel Plate armor that Uthgerd wears. The torso is this silver-green color, while the gauntlet and boots are the correct black color.
  15. Not sure what you mean, but here's the list of plugins in my Radioactive merge: Skyrim Radioactive - 3DNPC Patch.espSkyrim Radioactive - Legacy of Dragonborn Patch.espSkyrim Radioactive - Live Another Life Patch.espSkyrim Radioactive - SPO Patch.espskyrim-radioactive__3dnpc.espskyrim-radioactive__catm.espskyrim-radioactive__ccf.espskyrim-radioactive__dbm.espskyrim-radioactive__requiem.espskyrim-radioactive__tgr-merged.espskyrim-radioactive__usleep.esp
  16. With Radioactive and ECTV enabled, the game will crash within a few mins after character creation. Without it, the game runs just fine.
  17. Tested out the new ECTV patches, and my god, it works! Unfortunately, it does not work if Radioactive is enabled. So maybe consider dumping Radioactive entirely?
  18. Any ideas when the new ECTV version will be released? I'm holding off on playing right now, because playing without ECTV and Radioactive means I won't get to enjoy any new content (I've replayed a new character so many times now since the guide's release). So I'll wait. Great work on the guide and response guys.
  19. Paul, Any chance you can release the modular patches for ECTV? I suspect the crashing has a lot to do with Skyrim Radioactive. At first, I disabled all the ECTV mods, and rebuilt WLSO accordingly. The crash happened even faster than normal, within seconds, instead of minutes, and is consistent. So I enabled ECTV, and disabled Radioactive. Unfortunately, the merged ECTV patch requires Radioactive as a master for some reason. As such, I could only test ECTV with Holds The City Overhaul enabled. The game didn't crash this time. It only crashed when I attempted to head outside. Better than crashing for no reason I guess. If I had the ECTV patches, I can test and tune to see what exactly is the problem. Or at least see the conflicts between ECTV and Radioactive. As of now, I have no idea what's going on.
  20. Another "dumb user" suggestion: Include instructions to install DirectX 9 for Windows 10 users. Otherwise, upon finishing hours upon hours of modding work, the game just won't launch, causing panic to set in. Ask me how I found out. EDIT: Finished build today. Launched game. Crashed within a few mins after character creation. I'm guessing it has to do with ECTV or Radioactive again.
  21. I saw that from Googling, but I don't quite get the point. How is it different from having mods overwriting each other in MO?
  22. What is this SMC everyone keeps talking about?
  23. Instructions for merging CCOR includes ccor__ambca.esp, which requires aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp. Nowhere in the guide does anything aMidianBorn related show up, except for Forts. Also, instructions for Dual Sheath Redux includes options for Book of Silence, and Requiem includes options aMidianBorn Textures. What should we do?
