So...., does that mean we can use Book of UUNP in this build without the need for a patch? Or am I missing something? Also, sat down for my first serious play time today. Noticed a few inconsistencies that should be addressed. Sofia in particular starts yapping about being Thane of Whiterun, and Lydia, etc., even though I haven't done the appropriate quest yet (I was literally a level 1 character).

Hey..., just a small thought. There's a WAFR patch for Book of UUNP that brings the armor stats down in-line with vanilla stats. If I run Reqtificator with this patch on..., will it result in the "proper" stats for Requiem? It's honestly super weird that you can't install W7 via USB 3. I've done it a couple of times on my desktop. But then again, I don't own an Alienware, so the drivers might be proprietary.

Decided to go through the Integration page one last time before building additional stuff on top of this guide. Here's what I found: 44. Test methodology finished. I skimped on the lapping around Skyrim, because it got boring and tedious fast. Did just one lap. But even with 3 dragons duking it out in Solitude, the game never went below 20 fps. Still playable. No crashes.

Found some Stormcloak Recruits missing their legs (invisible boots?): But only some of them: Also, floating lantern in Dragons Bridge: Oh yeah, I CTDed when walking around Dragons Bridge. Not sure if it's a fluke or if it's due to a mod. I encountered this exact issue as well. I revised your test methodology, and it went away. Instead of using "coc" to travel around, just use the regular game's fast travel. I noticed the more I used coc, the worse the lag got (sometimes dipping in <10 fps). Using fast travel and repeating the same locations, the problem never showed up.

Both EasyBCD and MiniTool are free. :)

Are you trying to dual boot Win 7? If you are, try using EasyBCD, and partitioning off a separate drive with MiniTool Partition before you begin the install.

If other people can test the modified CRPatch.esp I posted above, it'll be great. Then we can at least figure out if thenewkid's issue is something else, or if it indeed is the CRPatch. I've gone through the lot in Leveled Item (that's how I ended up on the above 3 DX entries, process of elimination). Deleting all the other entries doesn't seem to resolve the CTD issue. I agree it should be moved. Looking in MO's conflict list, the entire SMIM patch one has 1 file that isn't overwritten by the LECM merge. Unless that's the intention from the beginning.

Did you re-run Reqtificator after that? Any additional mods on top of this guide? The only other thing I can think of is if you did not install the optional stuff (ECTV, PCE, etc.), and therefore there are other records in the CRPatch that doesn't really resolve any conflicts. JD, because I'm a masochist, I went into the CRPatch and started deleting **** left and right. Eventually narrowed down the problem to three items in the Leveled Item category. Their EditorIDs are: DX_Imperial_Gear DX_Imperial_GearNoTorch DX_Imperial_Missile_Bow These items don't appear anywhere else in the load order (so no idea what conflict they're supposed to resolve), and removing them from CRPatch.esp, followed by Reqtificator, allows me to save again. Hope this ends the CTD on Save issue. EDIT: Double-checked. Yup. I can save to my heart's content.

OH MY ******* GOD. I'VE SOLVED IT. Or at least, I've identified the problem. I think the problem has to do with what Reqtificator does with CRPatch.esp. There's something in there causing all of this CTD problem. So the solution? DISABLE the Conflict Resolution Patch mod when running Reqtificator. I did that, and now I can save whenever I damn well please, even during the Skyrim Unbound opening without doing the player.kill thing. Since I merely narrowed things down for you JD, and Seshon already took all the first-borns, I'll take second-borns as payment. EDIT: Yeap, re-ran Reqtificator with the CR patch again, and lo and behold, the CTD on save returns.

First test run..., hilariously bad. CTD on save. Recorded with NVidia Shadowplay, so performance impact of recording should be minimal. Log of issues is available in video description.

I've finally finished the install process. Next step is to help Diana with the testing. Here are the remaining issues that I found: 22. Once in Vanilla Items Retextures and Tweaks, and another in Armor Conversions. P.S. >> Any consideration for The Book of UUNP instead of TMB Armor Conversions? I know paul considered it once, and there was some issue with needing patches. It's come really far since. I played Ultimate Skyrim with it, and it appears to work just fine with Requiem now. Even includes bundles of optional files so there's no need to use Bodyslide.

Diana, while you're here, can you look at "Dragonborn Mages Robes Retexture Pack" in the Integration page? I don't see it in the guide, unless I'm blind.

Mate, I don't want to rain on your parade here, but I don't think his solution will work for everyone. The last time I encountered CTD on save, it was on a fresh install. Fresh everything, from OS, to drivers, to DirectX, to Skyrim itself. Literally no way it there was an existing ActorVariations.txt.

Hah! I read your previous post before going to bed, and trying to figure out why one would place NPC Retex merged above USLEEP in the left pane bothered me to no end. I was just preparing to fire up TES5Edit to compare the plugins and see which records are conflicting. Saved me a pile of time.

Heading to bed now. Here's the rest of what I got so far: 16. [Typo] Merge instructions for PCE Patches Merged says to place merged mod directly after PCE - Palaces and Castles Enhanced - Official Patches. I've hit a wall with the install. Here is the updated list of issues I found. Item 15 is a total no-go unless a decision is made between SWIFT/CFTO. 6. [Minor] Arthville series of village mods are named differently in Integration page. 13. Going through the guide now, need to stop for a minute to do errands. Here are the errors I've found so far: 1. [Typo] Pre-requisites page, under Wrye Bash, "files to download", should be 307 beta1, not "307.bet1". 2. [Major] High Resolution DLC pack may not be optional afterall. I encountered an issue where Vanilla install without HRDLC resulted in non-functional main menu (boxes replace words where "New", "Continue", "Load Game", etc. would be). It's free anyway, might as well. 3. [Minor] Pre-requisites page, Under BethINI instructions, items 24 and 25 should refer to "Visuals tab" instead of "Foliage". There is no longer a Foliage tab. 4. [Minor] Pre-requisites page, under INI Tweaks, "Change existing value" should be removed for bSaveOnRest=0, bSaveOnTravel=0, and bSaveOnWait=0. By default these values are not defined. 5. [Major] Merges page, the link to the setup page for Merge Plugins no longer has screenshots of the appropriate settings.

Well, you could try punching the guards. THAT will definitely make them pay attention.

IIRC, there's a perk in Requiem under the Restoration tree (called "Painful Regrets"). It should allow you to use the shrines again, BUT with a caveat: Be a jerk again and that's it. EDIT: Oh yeah, it also affects your selling prices, and learning speed. So...., make of it what you will. I'll nuke my Ultimate Skyrim install and get the current guide installed to help you out.
