Tomack13 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) Could someone offer a suggestion on how to change the distance between my character and follower? Can this be done without the use of a mod or by using console commands? Edited January 20, 2016 by Tomack13
0 Nebulous112 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 I think a STEP mod already has this functionality, "Come Together N Out of the Way". The MCM menu is titled "Nausicaa's Tweaker". As to exactly how to move followers closer or farther back, I'm not sure. I think the author shows how to do it in one of the videos on the Nexus page: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33562/?
0 Tomack13 Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 Thanks, I have tried you suggestion but it doesn't seem to make much difference at all. The follower is about 8 to 10 steps behind my character. This makes it difficult sometimes in smaller areas. I have a similar situation but not dealing with distance. I have noticed that when using Convenient Horse a follower does not draw a weapon when my character does only when a threat is near or in battle. In game the follower is supposed to mimic the character when going into sneak or drawing a weapon. I have played with the settings in Convenient Horses but have not had any results there. I was thinking in some way this issue with distance could be connected somehow with Convenient Horses? Who's to say. Do you have any other ideas? I don't mean to be a pain in the ars.
0 Nebulous112 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Sorry, nothing else comes to mind. I don't see how it could be connected to Convenient Horses, but I'm not an expert on that mod. Maybe someone else has some ideas.
0 phazer11 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Hmm... Come Together should be allowing you to adjust your follower distance. A question though, did you do STEP and make a new character or is this on a pre-exisiting save?
