CTD when using Drop Lit Torches [STEP Extended]

Hello everyone.

 

I had an issue with the mod SM Drop Lit Torches.

 

Whenever I was in the inventory and moused over a torch, my game would instantly CTD. I removed SM Drop Lit Torches, and the problem went away. 

 

As a clarification, I made sure there weren't any conflicted files or dependencies in MO beforehand. Once the mod was removed, the issue went away.

 

I thought I'd report my findings in case they could be useful for anyone else :)

 

As an aside, I would also like to see STEP updated to use the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch.

Thanks for the report. I can't reproduce this myself but perhaps if others are having the same issue we can investigate it.

A small update on this issue. It *might* have been an issue with using the wrong patch for thinner torches. I can't be sure, but I once had a crash when mousing over the torch after uninstalling SM Lit torches. I checked my installation again, and made sure I installed all the torch meshes/textures again, and it hasn't happened again. With SM Lit torches, it happened constantly though. Maybe it just made one other error much worse.
