Sarou89

Question

Hello !

I have a problem with TES5Edit when following STEP.

I followed every steps of STEP then come back to this one (it could not load all plugins until I ended every steps of STEP..):

Open TES5Edit and click [OK] to load all plugins.
Right-click RSPatch.esp and select "Apply Script".
In the drop down, select "RSPatcher" and click [Ok].
When the pop up message appears select [Create Patch].
Click [Yes] when prompted about adding masters to the patch.
Exit TES5Edit and save RSPatch.esp.

This message arrives juste before [Create Patch] :

Thanks for your responses ! No, I really did pay attention to that. In the doubt, I'm going to put it back and retry (but "mteFunctions.pas" was not part of TES5Edit[..] but is part of Merge Plugins v1.8-37981-1-8).

Thanks for the precision STEP/SR;LE (had that in my favourites for months, waiting to install)

Edit: Apparently it solved the problem. Thanks you both !

Based on the image, it looks like you are follow SR:LE not STEP. Did your follow the following advice from Neovalen:

"Special Installation: The contents of R.S. Patcher Edit Scripts file should be extracted to the TES5Edit/Edit Scripts installation directory. Do not overwrite the mteFunctions.pas installed earlier from Merge Plugins TES5Edit Script as it is more up to date. After BOSS sorting is complete, perform the following:"

The "mteFunctions.pas"  is part of TES5Edit v3.0.33r1910 EXPERIMENTAL and is found here. You did not by chance overwrite it with the one from "Real Shelter"?

mteFunctions is actually not included with TES5Edit (but hell, it should be!).  You can always acquire the most up to date version on GitHub if you're uncertain which version is more up to date (the tendency is, the bigger the file, the more up-to-date it is).

All versions of mteFunctions are backwards compatible, with a few VERY RARE exceptions.
