Can't install Consistent Older people without CTD

Question

Posted (edited)

Hey there,

I'm just beginning to install S.T.E.P Core, and I've run into my first hitch. I've done everything as the guide as said, but for some reason when I install the "Consistent Older people" mod, whether it's BOYD compatible or not, I'll CTD when I enter the Main menu on Skyrim. Can anyone explain why? I've run LOOT and it doesn't seem to pick anything up. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

Jasper.

PS: Afraid to continue on with installation of other mods before I've fixed this as I want to take it nice and slow, a fast reply would be really great though! :D

Yes but even when installing CRF and using only the CRF compatible version, I still get a CTD. I haven't tried using BOYD and CRF with the BOYD/CRF compatible version yet but I'm quite sure it'll give the same results.

EDIT: I've moved on and just skipped over the Consistent older people mod (although would still appreciate a guess as to what's causing the problem), but I'm slightly confused with another mod on the list.

In the instructions column of "Realistic Ragdolls and Force" it says "STEP Extended Patch users DO NOT need to install this mod." What does this mean? What patch?

Thanks.

Think it needs the master files from those other two mods. Confusing thing is the guide asks you to benchmark before you get to the sections with those mods. I just kept the old people mod unchecked until I got to Boyd.
