Cannot toggle out of crouch mode

Something weird just happened, and not sure if it is related to STEP or not.

 

My character won't toggle between crouch and standing. I remapped a few different keys to verify it wasn't an issue with a single key on my keyboard. Never encountered this before.

 

Any suggestions?

Hmm the problem has apparently righted itself, but it took a few different loads to do so.

 

Any ideas what happened?

I've experienced this. Typically load an earlier save and it rights itself.
