Question

I just reinstalled skyrim and all my mods (236) and Realvision enb. Everything looks awesome and I'm running 45 to 60 fps outside and a consistent 60 fps indoors. My problem is my player seems to have the candlelight effect everywhere she goes. No floating sphere mind you, just the "area" effect. If I walk away from a wall, the wall is dark and takes on the color and hue of the surrounding atmosphere, but if I approach the wall (or any surface) it gets brighter the closer I am, thus breaking immersion. I've checked my ini files and enb settings. I don't have a mod that I know of with this native behavior. What am I missing?

SWAG: Go to the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun, in one of the side rooms are three shrines, receive their blessings and see if anything changes.

If nothing does then: do you have a glowy enchanted item/perk related effect on your character?

I'll try the shrine thing. I already looked through the enchantment list and found nothing. I have even removed all armor and accessories to see if maybe that was an issue. Nada. Thanks for the reply.

Okay tried the shrines and the effect is still there. Started a new game to see if anything would change and it did. The effect was not present in the new game. Went back to my old game and effect is still destroying all things immersive.

Ended up just starting a new game and importing my race menu character settings. Bummer but oh well. I already had the "clearinvalidregistrations" setting in my skse.ini and I had already used the script cleaner twice (awesome tool btw, it had saved my game once before). Anyway, thank you all for your replies. I'm checking out a new enb with some settings of my own and everything seems to look and work great! Thanks again.
