My thoughts EXACTLY, Will, maybe apart from switching to Intel, as I'm quite happy with my AMD.

Yeah I was excited about this until I discovered that they didn't have the i7 on the list on the i5 (which is a great deal if you don't need the HT which most gamers don't)

I saw two i7s, but with motherboards included. I believe an Asus with one and a Gigabyte with the other.

Actually, the other one is a EVGA mobo. I also recall from early research that the G1.Sniper was under signifigant discounts on Newegg. But if you ask me what motherboard I'm most likely to get, it would be an ASUS Sabertooth or RoG type. Everything about them is awesome, really.
