Narsis Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Hey so for a little while now when installing a mod using the fomod installer in mod organizer, most of the descriptions for the different options haven't been showing up. Any way to fix this?
0 Kuldebar Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) I've noticed this too, but assumed it was made that way, meaning no one bothered to enter a description blurb. I think it depends on the mod, because I've installed some that do have all the descriptions of choices, etc. Edited March 8, 2014 by Kuldebar
0 Narsis Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 Role back to MO v1.1.1 if you are using v1.1.2I've had the issue since at least v1.1.0, I just never really noticed until recently. As Kuldebar said it doesn't happen to all descriptions and I kinda just assumed like he did that some hadn't been filled out.
0 GSDFan Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 I think this is because of the way the script was written and the internal FOMOD installer doesn't pick up on it.If you go to settings, plugins and select "Fomod Installer" and change the prefer setting from true to false and reinstall the mod you will see the descriptions now. You are now using the external FOMOD installed based on the NMM code.
0 Tannin Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Someone please report this as a bug on the issue tracker. And please include the name and link to at least one affected mod and where a valid description isn't being shown.
