TES5edit ini files not being read by MO

Question

Posted

How do I get TES5edit and BOSS to read the MO ini files? I loaded both inside MO but they still default to the ini files listed in C drive. My skyrim directory is listed in E drive and the "my games" ini files are in C drive. But MO creates it's own files which are inside profiles. Everytime I load TES5edit and BOSS it defaults to that. I cannot figure it out. Please help!

(I googled a million different things and searched this sub and everything was unrelated. is i retarded?)

Title is wrong. God damn it.

TES5Edit 3.0.31 EXPERIMENTAL starting session 2014-02-04 17:15:14

Using Skyrim Data Path: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\

Using ini: C:\Users\D\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini

Using settings file: C:\Users\D\AppData\Local\Skyrim\Plugins.tes5viewsettings

Loading active plugin list: C:\Users\D\AppData\Local\Skyrim\Plugins.txt

Found BOSS load order list: C:\Users\D\AppData\Local\Skyrim\loadorder.txt

That is what you expect to see in the log. Mod Org places the Profile skyrim.ini so that tes5edit will "see" the file where it looks. Which is my games folder. The same way that skyrim looks into the data folder and "sees" the mods that MO places there virtually.

The applications will report that they are reading the files from one place, but they are in reality only being fooled by Mod Organizer. Is there an actual issue that you are experiencing?
