Morrowind. If I am being honest.

I also really like legend of the dragoons. A massively under appreciated JRPG from the golden era of JRPGs.

dn11 - This game was an unfortunate victim of bad luck.  Hands down in terms of quality, story, gameplay mechanics, and replayability this game was at the top of the list for the PLaystation 1.  The reason this game is so under appreciated is because it got overshadowed by newer consoles that came out before this game could hit its hayday.  If it had been released a year or two earlier it could have gotten similar attention to games like the Final Fantasy series.

I love dragoons i like the final fantasy based combat system but also how you can punch in combos. even remember most of the characters, dart and lavits etc.

if we are going to playstation1 though my ultimate game was tekken 3, boring as hell alone but with a good player beside you, the blocking and moves a fight can last for over an hour... i was supreme king but then the tournaments ended. Tekken tag and upwards did not impress me much, they where pretty in graphics but they where faster so you could never have the enjoyment of long intense games.

I think a lot of games where underated i am a fan of silent hill and when i played parasite eve 1 and 2 i though they would have rated them a little better.

Silent hill took off along with resident evil but parasite eve vanished. they where all awesome... another game i would have liked to see more sequels to is dino crisis.

i have a playstation emulator and there is one game i really liked but did not get the chance to complete it.

I would love to get it back somehow so i can finish it, star ocean. Always think about that game when the ps1 is mentioned.

Breath of fire too, they where great rpg's i think the old ones are the best.

I grew up with Revs and Elite on the BBC B... graduated to an Amiga and lost months to Moria and the Little Lavender Leprechauns! I fondly remember Bane of the Cosmic Forge when I had a PC. Master of Magic consumed far too much of my time. Then I landed on Everquest. My first online game experience was Ultima Online and being griefed so I was rather tentative about starting Everquest. This was in the days of paid dial-up remember. Fortunately I got in a good Guild and started story-writing as well as playing. It all seemed so... real! Crappy graphics but real!

I have to confess that City Builder games occupied a large part of my time too - Caesar III, Pharaoh and of course Emperor RotMK.

I did play Daggerfall and Morrowind briefly but didn't really appreciate how deep they were. I have never played Oblivion beyond the intro yet but I do own the Steam GOTY edition and it is now firmly in my queue when I have got time.

Speaking of Amiga games, I have to also mention Centurion. Such a brilliant strategy game! Oh, North and South was genius 2 player game too!

I like my fair share of building games like sim city. i love strategy games like C&C. The amiga 64 set me off with building and strategy when i got my hands on settlers. i spent hours and hours on it upgrading my buildings training my army setting up battle plans... Because i like more than 3 games out of every catagory including sports cause i use to thrash NBA for the sega back in the days, i will never truly be bored, i got a game for what mood i feel in...

I have never heard of centurian but having seen some google screenshot im tempted to drag some emulators out.

But if i do that i can see me slamming on international karate plus and super metrouds for my game boy advance emulator.

I think when it comes to spending the most time on games and i mean old games im highly surprised sonicc and mario has not been mentioned yet.

Or if you go back aa little further alex the kid... cracking the coding behind the rock paper scissors and having my mother question how i know what to pick everytime hahaha

ok lets see how good my memory is sonic code.

up up down down left left right right ABC start

the proud smile upon my face has gone as i now feel old. loling
