[02:04] Error: OpenGL: F:\Tools\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\textures\lod\largeimperialtentlod framebuffer objects unsupported.

[02:06] Error: OpenGL: F:\Tools\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\textures\lod\whtrimstone1lod framebuffer objects unsupported.

Clicking on links in error message window does not open anything.

Clean installed Nvidia graphics driver v565.90 (WHQL) without any "bloatware".

Thanks! It ran successfully.

So after generating texgen and then dyndolod, I saw red LODs all over the place. I just reran texgen, and looking at some of the generated .dds files that were red, I didn't see mention of texture files not being found for them. An example is imperialforticelod.dds, which had red textures, but the logs don't seem to mention any issues with them.

I'm going to try rerunning a few times with different settings and will update this comment to avoid spammingthe post if I find anything new.

Make sure to download the latest test version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-opengl-framebuffer-objects-unsupported/#findComment-282545

Check the actual TexGen output folder right after generation. Verify timestamps the texture was just generated in the last session. Open the texture in an image viewer.
If you run TexGen several times, is this reproducible or random?

You really need to fix or permanently remove the broken plugins Great Town of Ivarstead - Embers XD [XD ESP] Patch.esp, KatanaCrafting.esp, Vokriinator Black.esp, SynthesisWeapons.esp.

got an opengl error again

I'll take a look at those plugins.

I'm having the same issue as Link01000 running in Linux and my log files are attached here

I have downloaded and used the updated TexGenx64.exe and TexConvx64.exe along with adding RenderSingle=1, RenderTextureSingleThread=1, RenderBillboardsSingleThread=1, GLDebug=1 to TexGen_SSE.ini incrementally.

I also tried in both Proton Experimental and Proton 9.

Keep the INI settings and get a new version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-opengl-framebuffer-objects-unsupported/#findComment-282545

Upload new logs.
In case it runs through with the settings, just keep GLDebug=1 and try again.

The loading of BSA and plugins seem to take a really long time, is this with a spinning disk?

BTW it is RenderTexturesSingleThread with an extra s, however since the issue happens while generating billboards, it is not relevant.

I have reloaded the NVIDIA drivers but the error remains and is consistent.  I added Add GLDebug=1 and here are the logs and text.

I put in GLDebug=1 as suggested. Here are the two logs and the bugreport.txt.

The crash is repeatable but it seems to stop in different places.

I had been using the new versions of TexGenx64.exe and TexConvx64.exe from that link. I changed the misspelling to RenderTexturesSingleThread=1 and now it runs all the way through, logs are here. One thing that was different that might have helped is that I started up LACT, which I have set to force the GPU into 3D_FULL_SCREEN. This has been necessary to get full power out of newer AMD GPUs for the past few months, thought it should be fixed in the 6.13 kernel.

I am not using a spinning disk, it's a Crucial T500 M.2 Gen4 SSD with a btrfs partition that I've used for this many times before, it has always been about this slow running TexGen, not sure what accounts for it, something about Wine/Proton or btrfs I presume.

Thanks for the help, hopefully my logs can provide some insight.

Different error.
Error: Texconv error 80004005 textures\Landscape\Grass\RaspberryVineDrJ.dds

Something might have happened to the texture file.

See https://dyndolod.info/Help/Texconv
80004005
The texture is not a valid file format or corrupted and needs to be converted or replaced. Look up the texture path in MOs right window Data tab to find out which mod supplies it. Reinstall the textures from the mod, DynDOLOD Resources or TexGen output, whichever it is. If the mentioned texture is part of the DynDOLOD output, delete the entire output from former session before trying again.

There might an some kind of issue with OpenGL releasing resources TexGen "deleted". Can you track video memory and/or VRAM?

Get new test version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-opengl-framebuffer-objects-unsupported/#findComment-282545 and only set GLDebug=1 and none of the other settings to see if it runs trough. Upload logs in case it fails.
