If I get these kind of warnings at the end of the log/DynDOLOD process, but can still open the .nif files with nifskope without an error, is it ok to keep the run or should I start a new one to make sure everything is working correctly?

I got no other 'interesting' errors or warnings I am concerned about, also no bugeport.txt.

Here are the Logs: Download

After generation, there are extra textures in the Helgen starting location. Generated a total of 3 times with disabled mods. Nothing has changed. Any ideas?

Does anyone know if the update from April 27th (Version 2.82.5) is usable as a drop-in update for 2.2.0 guide?

This is the DynDOLOD support forum. Questions about third party modding guides should be asked on their appropriate forum. Probably here https://stepmodifications.org/forum/forum/157-step-skyrim-se-guide/

The latest DynDOLOD DLL 2.x version works with the latest DynDOLOD 2.x/3.x Standalone.

Always use the latest version available.

Hi I have the latest 3 version (alpha-128) and tried running it this morning at 10.30 with seasons for Skyrim AE it has not moved in from "Processing Patches" since then, is that normal with this version? Did something get changed? In the past with seasons it all took just over 30 mins on my system but its been hours and not moved on I don't know if its stuck, bugged or what. Tried doing a google but nothing useful so asking here. Thanks

TexGen_SSE_log.txt 151.53 kB · 1 download

See the first post or https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which debug log to also upload.

Add LockTexconv=1 under [TexGen] in D:\Mods\Skyrim\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\TexGen_SSE.INI and see if that changes anything. It helped users with the same problem a couple pages back where TexGen seems to be stuck or stopped.

Hey!

I am new to DynDOLOD, and I am having difficulty generating the lod. I am using the Alpha 3 version. I downloaded and installed all the the required files, followed the instructions from GamerPoet's tutorial, including prioritizing my load order the way that was instructed, generated Texgen, zipped and saved, moved zip folder into Vortex and installed and activated it, where nothing overrides it, and I get through the part of the lod gen where I choose the lands and settings (medium), but it always crashes about 3 minutes in. It's always around LC's Feudal Keep, so I disabled that, to see if it would make a difference, and it still crashed at about the 2:30-3 minute mark of trying. I tried around 5 or 6 times.

Am I missing something? Suggestions?

I understand that the Dyndolod overlaps dynamic objects (which change during the execution of quests, for example burned houses in Helgen). Textures that are superimposed on objects are not tangible.

DynDOLOD adds dynamic LOD for dynamic full models. The dynamic LOD should only show outside the active cells, when the full model is not shown anymore.
