It was an ID10T error. Sorry. I've experienced significantly increased LODGen processing times too with 3a152 compared to 3a150 and earlier. Tamriel took 41 minutes compared to 6.5 minutes (not apples to apples because I'm now combining several worldspaces for LOD). After renaming LODGenx64Win.exe to fall back to LODGenx64.exe, processing time is back to normal (11.5 minutes).

ErikSteiner Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 I recently tried out DynDOLOD under Linux with Proton. I would like to know, what is the source of Texconv.exe and especially the x64-Version of it? I found the official repository, but this is missing the x64-Version.

ErikSteiner Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Thank you. Why did you send me the link to the forum? It this the wrong thread?

Because you are not reporting the actual problem. https://dyndolod.info/Help/Texconv DynDOLOD includes a customized version of Texconv to convert different texture formats. Do not replace Texconv with other versions.
DarSkirata Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 (edited) Hey Sheson & community, FIrst time using DynDOLOD 3.0 on latest AE with NG DLLs I ran into an issue with range check errors. First off, all plugins identified by LOOT as dirty were cleaned, Treemod is Ulvenvald 3.1 with 3D Hybrid LoDs installed. TexGen ran normally and was installed normally, overwrite all. Among others I have USEEP, Lux, Lux Orbis, Lux Via, Water for ENB, and all their patches installed. Game was stable so far. Whenever I run DynDOLOD, it stops after a few minutes with an Error: Range check error while processing [some plugin]. Sometimes it's Skyrim.esm, sometimes JK's Skyirm.esp, seemingly everytime it's a different object, marker, navpoint placed in a different cell causing the crash, like this: Tried a couple of times by now, everytime it's a range check error, every time a different reason. Strange thing is, I checked all plugins for errors with SSEEdit, and these references are not errors. These are my settings: I've attached my regular log file to this message. The DynDOLOD_SSE_Debug_log.txt is 37MB big so it's uploaded with the bugreport.txt here: https://ufile.io/rb3c2efh Any idea or help is appreciated. I can understand that many here report problems without providing logs, etc.. I just wanted to get into the conversation. Are the customizations to Texconv publicly viewable?

Honeypopcorn Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 (edited) Some objects have black textures. Different textures appear within the same bto file. Some are normal, some are black. I know the reason for this is Seasons of Skyrim, but I don't know the exact cause. Someone can help me? I've always run DynDOLOD in the same way and this has never happened before. The criterion is DynDOLOD 152. Everything, including Resources, is up to date as of now. Edited October 7, 2023 by Honeypopcorn

EnderProtix Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 (edited) Hey, I recently switched out some smaller mods in my load order (mostly lighting, EFLX -> Lux), and needed to regenerate my LODs due to some issue I was running into in Riften. I updated to the newest version, I had been using a build from a few months back, not sure which one though. I also updated Resources and the DLL, but the LOD generation has taken significantly longer than expected. When I used to run it, it would take around 2 hours to complete, however now, I'm currently 20 hours into generation, and it seems to be crawling through the Tamriel Object Lod generation. Yesterday morning I thought I had maybe done something wrong, so I reset the process, but the issue is persisting. I've noticed the main holdups are the Tamriel and Solstheim. Where there any changes made in recent builds that would cause this to happen? I might have missed a setting or something, but I'm not sure what to look for. Edit: forgot to add this, but Tamriel has specifically been working on LOD lvl 4 for 16 hours out of the 20. Edited October 7, 2023 by EnderProtix
