Skyrim Realistic Overhaul Update not merging with regular files

Question

Posted

Hey, I started to follow Step Guide v2.1.0 and when I install 4 files of Skyrim Realistic Overhaul (parts 1,2,3+Update) MO2 doesn't ask me if I want to merge update file, as it did with other 3, and is instructed in the guide. Should I be concerned or is it ok to leave it as separate mods.

I usually install part 1, name it "Skyrim Realistic Overhaul" in the install dialog, copy the name to the clipboard, and just paste that name into all of the subsequent parts and updates.

In MO, the filename under which you install a new file must be exactly the same for MO to ask you to merge. Maybe the default filename for the update file was a slightly different one?

Indeed, I didn't know that it works that way at all! For me the default name for first 3 files was "Skyrim_Realistic_Overhaul_Part_" and for the update one "Skyrim_Realistic_Overhaul_" which is weird, but easy fix I guess. Thank you :)
