Question

Posted

First: Thank you Sheson et. al for DynDOLOD.

I have been using for a while (prior versions) without issue by RTFM advise & some great YouTube video tutorials.
With the DynDOLOD 3 I thought I would upload and give an attempt.
No issues with TexGen. DynDOLOD stops on the Heljarchen Farm Revamped mod.
I know you cannot know my load order or what conflicts may exist. I am hoping you can translate the message below so I can look into learning more about the inner workings of modding.

Thanks,
Dag

@ClonedMew Is your AppData folder hidden?  It is by default on Windows because they don't want you tinkering around in there (if a complete idiot starts fiddling with things in there it Will cause problems for them).

Agh!  Put it in a spoiler tag!  It's the tool with an eye in the text editor widget!  I already said as much to the other guy!

Anyway, here's the updated intersection:

  Reveal hidden contents

And here's an even shorter version with several related plugins condensed into shorter descriptions, abridged by yours truly:

  Reveal hidden contents

Hypothesis:  This will be fixed by removing one or all of the above plugins, except for the ones that can't because they are literally just Skyrim itself.

Update:  It brings me no joy to report to you all that disabling all of the mods the three of us had in common did absolutely nothing to fix the problem.

New idea:  Unless someone can think of something better, we'll just wait until one of the admins of this site wakes up and sees this tomorrow

I keep getting this error whenever generating Dyndolod - I've never had an issue with Forgotten Seasons before and can't figure this one out. I've run autoclean and looked through SSEEdit and seen no errors. Any ideas? Thank you so much!!

Recently updated the game and rebuilt my mod list but I am encountering an issue with getting DynDOLOD to generate. The application stops with the following error:

  Reveal hidden contents

DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt - https://paste.ee/p/D9ww6HeH

DynDOLOD_SSE_Debug_log.txt - https://drive.proton.me/urls/AP670R8Q9G#N9USoJ3yvGCl

From what I can tell is DynDOLOD does not like a Door that was placed by a patch for LOTD and Immersive Fort Dawnguard, but as I am not super comfortable with xedit I am unsure of how to fix the issue.

Ahh yeah that was it exactly other than some very minor errors to chase down. I believe I somehow installed that patches from both mods which obviously did not work very well. Thank you for the help, I wish more people in the community were as helpful or patient.

Hi! I'm working on a modpack for Skyrim SE, and wanted to verify I've installed the Seasons of Skyrim (and related) mods correctly before continuing installing other mods, which requires running DynDOLOD. I'm able to successfully run SSELodGen and TexGen, but am running into an error with DynDOLOD:

Unresolved FormID [FE0F63DA]
Error in OCW_AMM-SE_FEPatch.esp SLMMPlacesHallOfElements [REFR:FE0F6300] (Places MapMarker [STAT:00000010] in [CELL:00000D74] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C]) at 28,27)

The error seems to imply the issue is related to Obscure's College of Winterhold and Atlas Map Markers, but I don't really know what to do about it - the patch is obviously already installed, and apparently the source of the error. I checked with xEdit, but when I apply a filter for conflicts, the patch .esp disappears.

I'm using DynDOLOD 3.0 Alpha, using the 'Medium' quick setting. Can't see any obvious issues in LOOT, and already cleaned all the vanilla .esm's. Would appreciate some pointers!

As explained, this is an error in the load order with the installed. Use the xEdit error check to find and investigate unresolved form ID errors before running DynDOLOD. Cleaning does not fix unresolved form ID errors.

It is unclear which versions of the involved mods/plugins are being used. There are no unresolved form ID errors reported in OCW_AMM-SE_FEPatch.esp that ships with the latest version of Atlas Map Markers SE - Updated with MCM from February 2025. Obviously do not use the long outdated patch shipping with Obscure's College of Winterhold from April 2020.

Wasn't obvious to me! Hadn't realised both mods included a different version of the same patch. Re-installing OCW with the patch disabled worked.

Start by checking the plugin and record with xEdit mentioned in the Error in ... message.
In case the unresolved form ID is for a VMAD script property and the intended record can not be determined or the property has been removed from the script, remove the property from the properties listing via right click, Remove in xEdit.

The plugin  Beast Race Pack.esp exists in the used data folder and is set by the used plugins.txt to be active or it used by an active plugin as a master, which force it to be loaded.
