Should I Merge SRO files by hand?

I am working my way through the step guide, and installed all four files for Skyrim Realistic Overhaul. The instructions said to "merge when asked" for 1-3, then "merge when asked" again for the update. However, MO2 never asked me to merge the files. Should I merge them by hand?

MO is just using the file name for those files then. I install them to one folder and merge them. Just change the name in MO to the same name when installing will give you the merge option. If you merge or keep the separate. It's not going to matter.
