haelfix
I have a few different profiles for lighting as they require different patches. Â Cot + sky realism cinematic + RLO is my standard. Â However I've recently gone back to a custom setup with rcrn plus classic + elfx where I've tweaked down the sun glare. the latter has better exterior lighting and colors, less annoying eye adaptation than RLO and cot. Â However rlos new dynamic interiors is just ridiculously nice and there is no shadow striping. In an ideal world I'd have cots weather systems, rcrns sharpness, colors, exterior lighting and fog, rlos imagespace interiors and elfxs light location placement and smoke. Link to comment
statmonster
When you use RLO + CoT do you use all the RLO optionals except the last one (Adaptive Interiors)? Which CoT options do you use? It's not entirely obvious which options in one do not conflict with options int he other. Link to comment
Smile44
All RLO options that is of 4.07. No interiors from Cot. All is explained on the RLO site they decided to go with CoT rather than develop their own weathers further. Edit: Ok 4.07c is out will need to look at it but same rules seem to apply. RLO just keeps getting better with each update. Link to comment

Both RLO and RCRN are making significant changes at present so will need to see what come out on top and if RCRN then curious to see if TC does another custom RCRN plus. Link to comment
jasonstory44
Any reason you guys can think of that BOSS and BUM would lose their mind? I've had everything entered in BUM...I just resorted my load order and all of a sudden none of my patches are recognized. I had sorted just minutes prior and everything went normal. Also seems like the BOSS list isn't current. For example it used to sort More Village animals and other mods which seemed to be in the masterlist....all of a sudden they are no longer in the masterlist. Does BOSS ever screw up and not list the most current masterlist? Link to comment
statmonster
Try starting Skyrim from the Steam launcher to update your .ini files. If BOSS can't find Skyrim via the registry entries it will not act well. This sometimes needs to be done if you update Skyrim. Or maybe it's something else. I just used BOSS three minutes ago and it worked fine. Link to comment
dstansberry
The guide lists the following instructions for Distant Detail Hearthfire Edition, under the topic regarding bringing forward changes from the Unofficial Skyrim Patch: Expand "Worldspace">"0000003C">"Block -1,-1">"Sub-Block -1,-2">"00009B78">"Temporary" and select the "000F964E" node. Drag the "Record Flags" from Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp to Distant DetailHF.esp. Click the [X] in the upper right hand corner, uncheck "Backup plugins", and click [OK]. However, neither Block -1,-1 nor any of the sub-nodes or records listed, appear to be present in the DistantDetailHF.esp. Mine doesn't appear to contain any block other than 0,0 under Worldspace 000003c. Am I overlooking the obvious? [Edit] I re-downloaded the file and looked at it more closely. The referenced blocks ARE present, until the file is cleaned by TES5Edit. The ITM scrubbing removed all references other than Block 0,0 - so on the surface of things, it would appear that the second half of the instructions at that point in the guide may no longer be necessary? At least, that would be my exceptionally inexpert interpretation. :o) Link to comment

It's not entirely obvious which options in one do not conflict with options int he other.I use CoT (default nights) + RLO (minus vanilla weathers). Seem to work ok although the interiors seem a little too dark for me, specifically the dungeons. One of these days hopefully we get that perfect mod that does everything ;) Link to comment
Satyre
@statmonster Using ADEC and the original feminine running/dash mod from xp32 - I changed the load order, overwritten other run animations and tried all sorts of things. FNIS just ignores the mod. In contrast, it recognises the acrobatic jump mod without any problems. Link to comment
statmonster
Odd. FNIS has always been temperamental, but I've had good luck with the recent version using MO. Have you tried his all in one animation mod? (https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29622/) Is ADEC, etc updated to at least Skyrim 1.8? Link to comment
statmonster
Has anyone used Skyrim Project Optimization with Revisited? (https://www.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32505/) If so, what do you think of it? In general, is Occlusion Culling worth implementing? Link to comment
Aiyen
Yes Skyrim Project optimization is worth it... it does not do anything that hurts.. at least I have not experienced any issues or heard of them unless you use some house mods etc. Walkman: if you find the dungeons to dark you can use a very simple ENB config to just increase interior brightness values to suit your needs. The most easy way to do it imo... no need for some strange "brighter dungeons with ENB" mod and yet another .esp to the load order. Also RLO is too good now to pass up imo. RLO + CoT 3.0 is going to be the best around until the others get some love from their authors. Link to comment
statmonster
SkyTEST (https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10175) - I noticed last month you wrote "I've been using SkyTEST for a very long time and couldn't imagine playing Skyrim without it anymore," but I don't think it's in Skyrim Revisited. Has it just not made it into the list yet, or have you actively decided to drop it? If the latter, why? Performance concerns? Incompatibility with other mods? Replaced by something different/better? Link to comment
Neovalen
I dropped it due to performance/stability concerns. I really love the mod but as Skyrim Revisited mod list grew larger I noticed it was causing a vast # of ctd/freezes. @All Sorry for the lack of real updates since 1.9, going through the list now.
