Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a question about Vividian ENB. Game is beautiful but the shadows are too dark for me. I think I have to reinstall the ENB then use the brighter interior option in the Vividian installer. But my question is: If i do reinstall this mod, do I have to redo the Conflit resolution, LOOT, FNIS, Wyre Bash, TES5edit...etc stuffs of the "All Good Things Must Come To An End" part ? :/

No, in this case you should only need to redo the part done in ENB Manager and Changer, reinstall Real Shelter, and then run the RS Patch to re-patch weathers.

Getting to the end of a new installation and I reached the part where I have to edit the USKP

Keep encountering this error message in TES5Edit and nothing is saved:  "Error saving Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp.save.2015_07_29_00_37_51: Stack overflow"

Does anyone know what's going on?

EDIT: Nvm. I found out on the USKP comments section that I had to delete the Plugins.tes5viewsettings file in

C: \ Users \ <username> \ AppData \ Local \ Skyrim \ Plugins.tes5viewsettings

That fixed it.

XX01AE24 OBISFaction

XX = Index of OBIS.esp
Conflict Resolution: Use record from OBIS.esp then right-click on the Relations line and click Add. Right-click the newly created Faction entry and select Edit. Paste "ARTHLALBanditVampireFaction [FACT:YY0189E8]" where YY = Index of Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp and click [OK]. Right-click the newly created Group Combat Reaction entry and select Edit. Type "Ally" then click [OK].
Problem Resolved: Organized Bandits In Skyrim added bandits attacked the player if using the bandit alternate start.

For the above step in the conflict resolution, I get absolutely nothing under XX01AE24 (I have inserted the prefix for OBIS.esp). I only got OBIS.esp up, so I removed the filter, but even then their are no records in the right window of TES5Edit (let alone the 'Relations' line). I thought I may have installed it wrong so I reinstalled OBIS but still get the problem. Can someone tell me what I have done wrong?

Got my Windows 10 box and Skyrim up and running. Now to catch up on updates. :)

Hey Neo.  What do you think of Windows 10 so far?  I've been holding off updating until I hear what sort of performance the official version is giving people.

It seems the link for XP32 is still going to the old version and not the extended.

Fixed the link.

So far I am good with Windows 10... had to make sure to turn off auto-updating drivers from Windows Update but other than that been pretty smooth. Did an upgrade to get the free license then clean install with reformat.

Sorry to keep throwing stuff at you but in "character creation menus" the option is just "XPMSE3 Plugin", without the "racemenu".  It's grayed out, so you have to select it, but it's probably still going to confuse people as they follow your guide.  You also have "racemenu" as the selection box heading and it's now "character creation menus".

Mature skin updated today as well.

Glad to hear Windows 10 is working well for you.  I'll probably upgrade sometime this week.  You just updated, didn't you?  You mentioned getting skyrim up and running.  You didn't have to reinstall any programs, did you?  Or is it a new machine?
