Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

@neovalen, I like your guide and I am planning to use more of it soon. For now I only use parts of it. I have an idea/feature request. How about making it easier to see which mods in Skyrim Revisited is included in STEP, which ones are but are edited in Skyrim Revisited and which one are new if compared to STEP. . It would also be nice to see which mods Skyrim Revisited removed from STEP. This could be done by colouring the mods titles which is practical but maybe unestetic. It could also be done by separate lists.

I know Skyrim Revisited is not STEP but using mod organizer it's easy to use both and using Skyrim Revisited as an add-on to STEP. I think these features would make it even easier.

Cheers!

Thats the goal eventually... in some form. I need to finish writing the guide first before going into that. :) Rest assured it will come eventually.

Of course I would remember this after you get out of the chat room.... lol

When doing the edits provided for Guard Dialogue Overhaul, should the SPIKE.esm be loaded as well in TES5EDIT? I mean it gets loaded anyways since it's the master... but would this affect anything in any significant way? Or it won't matter since it loads regardless?

Makes no difference whatsoever.

Neo, just a quick question to be entirely sure. In Better Makeup for SKSE, there's a 1.1 update, but since it's from a couple days ago, I assume you would've seen it. We should ignore it, right?

Anyone having issues with 'Bring Out Your Dead'? After I finished 4.5.2 'The Bricks' section, I went to start a new game and got CTD right when the main menu loaded. I disabled ALL mods from 4.5.2 and started up and it loaded a new game fine. I then started enabling mods 1-by-1 and loading the game after each one. It wasn't until I enabled 'Bring Out Your Dead' that it CTD again. I disabled it, and of course the game loaded up fine again.

Load up Bring Out Your Dead.esp in TES5Edit and look through the Non-Player Character (Actor) GRUP. Are there any errors listed in the VMAD sections?

No difference as it loads automatically.

Right. Its more an optional than an update IMO.

I'm guessing something went awry in your install of BOYD or related patches. Please reinstall and regenerate related patches. Also be sure using latest TES5Edit.

Hey Neovalen! Wanted to thank you again for the work you're putting into this compilation, its outstanding! I finally got all of revisited installed (only to refresh the page and find out things had changed -_- lol) but I was wondering which ENB you had in mind (if any) to finish it up?

Lighting is something I haven't given a whole lot of thought to just yet. I've been using unreal cinema once in awhile to run performance testing but haven't looked around that much tbh at least with latest versions. I've also used Seasons of Skyrim and SkyRealism Cinematic in the past.

Oh, yikes. Mod organizer just changed the priority of a whole bunch of my mods somehow, screwing up alot of the work I did with the retextures. I think it was because I hit refresh, but I cant imagine why it would change the priority of a bunch of mods at once. Any idea what I did wrong?
