Did you forget to extract bsa's by chance?

Originally, no. But since the instructions for fixing the base script error on the mod's home page said that I shouldn't, I haven't been.

I will try a fresh install when I get home from work and see if it will function a bit better with an updated SKSE.

ok little bug to report with alternate start the only option i can pick where the game actually starts after character creation is the "crossing the boarder illegally" and going through Helgen. (not a big issue but i thought i might report this issue to Neo).

Must be you... I regularly use most starts besides Helgen and your the first complaint. :)

I am a bit unsure about a part of the guide :

For FNIS , it says  that after running FNIS , no other action is required.

This sounds a bit odd to me since the last guide i followed said the generated files should be turned into a mod  file and added to  the leftpane .

Is this the right way or am i thinking this wrong ?

Either way works if you use only one profile. I actually had plans on changing this in the guide this week as I personally move my output files into a SRLE Profile mod.

Ok, seems a fresh Race Menu installation did not fix the issue. It's possible there's some sort of conflict going on but I see no reason why that should be.

Just installed the loose base scripts to see if that fixes matters

Edit: Aaaaand nope.

I seriously don't understand why this is going on. Is there anyone who could walk me through exactly what you do when you encounter the base script error as I must be doing something wrong?

Note: This seems to have started happening following the latest MO update. I tried a manual installation in the Skyrim data folder but that did no good.

I have been building on from SR:LE in an experimental build, integrating some choice mods such as Interesting NPC's and the JK's Towns and Cities mods. It's this build wherein I keep getting the missing base scripts error for Race Menu.

I'm gonna try a systematic check using the standard SR:LE loadout to see if it could be a conflict with one of the new mods while I wait on any replies.

Ok. Upon reverting to the baseline SR:LE loadout everything works fine so nothing wrong with RaceMenu as far as I can tell :)

So I guess the fault lies within one of the mods I installed on top of it soooo I guess that's that as far as you guys are concerned. Going to try and work out which one it is by process of elimination. Hopefully won't be any of the particularly nice ones.

There should be at least two ways to do it faster, one is double click the RaceMenu entry in the Plugins panel in Mod Organizer and check the conflicts tab, anything in the bottom half of that tab is overriding RaceMenu.

The other way is to look at the Data tab in Mod Organizer, scroll down to scripts and look for anything starting with RaceMenu, then look at the other column to see what is overriding them. (The Show Only Conflicts checkbox at the bottom should also help) There are two other scripts in RaceMenu that you can also look for: Chargen.pex and NiOverride.pex.

Hopefully that helps track it down quicker, I know I had something similar pop up when I had TairenSouls Warpaints mods installed, and had to replace the scripts (though hiding\deleting them also should work)

Thanks. i found that Battle Hardened Warpaints was conflicting. I take it that removing those scripts from warpaints might fix it?

Edit: Yes. Yes it did. *phew* finally got this monster installed :D

Gotta say. Much easier than when I attempted it last year

I finally installed everything and did a few testruns  in skyrim  to see how it  handles all the stress i am putting it under and i had no issues .

However there are a few things that are a bit weird with BUM.

Some of the rules in the guide get labled as "invalid" and do not save .

Also i am not sure if it is normal but i have RSchildren_Complete USKP. esp listed multiple times  in the left bottom pane  in red .

ok Wyre Bash is now throughing up an error:

Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp: Unexpected Subrecord: 'COBJ.CIS2'

Error loading COBJ Recordand/or subrecord: 04005A1C

eid = U'IARHeroicImperialBoots'

Subrecord = CIS2

i have reinstalled immersive Armors 3 time and get this error every time i create a bash patch

found the mod causing the error it was hunterborn which i recently installed so uninstalled until i can work out why.
