Wormheart Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I've been watching the progress on CNHF for a while now and I have to say, it's the one I will probably use from now until I can't play Skyrim any more.
Luinithil Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I've gotten to know Calyps and the rest of the armor conversion team fairly well-- CNHF 2.0 is getting really close as meshes are just about done, we're just waiting for Nuska to stomp out the last few texture seam related issues now. If you all would like to see what CNHF 2 looks like, you can hop over to CNHF's images section where I put up some NSFW pics of my female Breton character, with the 2.0 meshes and Mature Skin textures, since CNHF 2 textures aren't ready at the moment. If you want to see CNHF 2 ready armor (Heavy Imperial only so far, others are for CNHF 1), check out my pics of Rikke. Navetsea's CBBE/UNP compatible textures also go pretty well with the CNHF 2 meshes and Women of Skyrim's face normals.
exploiteddna Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Quote ... until I can't play Skyrim any more.when and why will you be unable to play skyrim? .. just curious :D
Wormheart Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 haha, I meant when computers move out of compatibility with the software, or I just get tired of it's limitations, or get spoiled by another game ;)
Cov Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Out of curiosity, what happens when you use an armor that isn't designed for UNPB? Like immersive armors of tribunal robes and mask. Does it crash, do body parts stick through, does it just look like default?
Neovalen Posted June 11, 2013 Author Posted June 11, 2013 Generally speaking it will just change your body to look like the one it was designed for... magical morphing.
Annon Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I experienced en error when i tried to install "Wolverines Automatic Variants Port - Chocalambot" something about "encoding method unsupported". The reason for that was the stupidly long filepath strig was too long. I thought this was a problem with MO so I manually installed it. But this was not a very good idea since this later crashed AU patcher. Have anyone else had a similar error? have Anyone managed to install "Wolverines Automatic Variants Port - Chocalambot"?
Wormheart Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 You can rename it without breaking anything, you can even rename the folders under it I believe, AV doesn't care just so long as they are in the folder SkyProc Patchers\Automatic Variants\AV Packages All of the information about what they actually replace in the game is stored in the *.json files, the folder names can be anything (the texture names do have to be what they are now though).
phazer11 Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 While CNHF does look nice something just seems off to me. I still like UNPB followed closely by the SeveNBase3 Bombshell Body (though sadly there are virtually no armors) I guess CNHF reminds me alot of some of my friends with spinal curvatures like lordosis and that general family of diseases.
Ciccigomma Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 One question guys. aMidianBorn Book of Silence is updated do version 1.8.5 when in revisited the 1.7 is the one requested. Should I install everything or uncheck something for not override the previous mod installed? Thanks as always! EDIT - solved!
grhuff Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Follower Trap Safety This mod has a couple of versions, one of them being a Brawl Bugs compatibility version. The SR guide doesn't differentiate, but the STEP guide recommends the Brawl Bugs version. I'm thinking that SR might want that version as well, but I'm not certain.
mokuro89 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Ciccigomma, how do you solved the aMidianBorn Book of Silence version? Neovalen - thanks for the amazing guide! Very good that it have all those details for no experienced modder users

Very good that it have all those details for no experienced modder usersI've left unchecked the golden glass armor and tsun armor (already installed before in the guide). There's no need to open Tes5Edit 'cause the new esp is fixed. For the conflict with Guard Dialogue Overhaul, just follow the guide.
Kal Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I'm completely uninterested in the overarching S.T.E.P. project due to their glacial update pace and the cliff-like learning curve necessary to simply give feedback. (I've already been thoroughly dissuaded from offering any further mod suggestions by the insistence that only the One True Mod Suggestion Format be used, for instance.) I'm concerned with all the announcements going on that Neovalen's Skyrim Revisited is going to simply be absorbed into S.T.E.P. and that all it's charm and value will thus be lost. Reassure me, Obi Wan Neovalen-i, you're my only hope.
