Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Update on hair clipping issues' date=' I just noticed it only happens when using one of the male "vanilla" hair variants.Using hair from Apachi works normally.[/quote']

Just wanted to note that I also experience this. Only with certain helms and vanilla hairs (IE: iron helm with Ralof style hair).

Was looking at this the other day and think it is caused by "Better Vanilla Hairs" meshes.

Neo, just a quick question...

When updating to new version of XPMS, if I don't have Frostfall installed, then I should go for the "XPMS Default" setting on the first screen of the installer, right?

That means that I will not longer be able to have chesko-style quivers?

So interestingly, I'm having major instability issues after setting up Skyrim Revisited, and I'm not entirely sure why. I've been crashing frequently, and this is in Helgen. Game hasn't even really started yet.

Running a HD 6950 2Gb with a i5-2500k, so I shouldn't be having too many problems, especially when I chose the lower end settings for most of the mods.

CptJesus: It could be due to any number of issues.

However if you already crash and freeze during helgen then memory issues are properly a good place to start since that area is a beast in terms of memory use, and it is really sensitive about everything really.

Also you say you have setup SR... but that would mean you are also using alternate start... then the issue with helgen could well be related to just that mod.

So I'm running Skyrim Performance Monitor, and it looks like Skyrim is maxing out my VRam easily. Memory is sitting at around 2 GB which is perfectly fine, and CPU is sitting at about 30%ish. Apparently when I take off my character's clothes, the whole game CTD's, so I'm not sure what's up with that. My best guess for that one is something wrong with my UNP setup, but I'm not entirely sure.

Edit: Fixed the CTD issue. Does the install of Skyrim Revisited actually remove the nudity from UNP?

You can use Frostfall version of XPMS without Frostfall installed. It only refers to arrow position.

No... SR endorses nudity as part of realism.

Hi' date=' I've followed this for the most part and everything is working fine except the world map... for some reason the map is invisible' date=' all I can see is one solid color depending on the area. Disabled the world map mods, same thing. Any idea what's causing that?[/quote'']

reinstall mods that alter world map. It seems installer missed textures during install. try to use integrated installer/external/manual

Turned out to be the General Patch. Not sure why that is.

Edit: Just rebuilt the General Patch in the event I screwed it up the first time.

Only DLC I own is Dawnguard, so I simply Expand "Worldspace">"0000003C" and select the "00000D74" node under Dawnguard.esm and copy override into -> General Patch. After doing it again and re-enabling the patch, World Map is again just a huge square of (x) solid color.

So where do the textures for UNP come from exactly? We remove the textures from the actual UNP package' date=' and we don't install the textures for UNPB. What step am I missing?[/quote']

First UNP package. (Version 1.0 should be removed as it's inaccurate and slightly confusing)

UNP Blessed Body

This Mod Contains Nudity

Author: Calyps, XP32, MrTroublemaker

Version: 1.0 (NMM Installer Update Only)

Optionals(Via Installer): 2-4 BBP Body, BBP - NA

You're referring to the Dimonized UNP Body directly afterward, which you remove the textures from:

Dimonized UNP Female Body

This Mod Contains Nudity

Author: dimon99

Version: 1.51 (BASE Main Body v1.2)

Special Installation: Do not install the following files:

Entire textures folder.

meshes/actors/character/character assets/femalebody*.nif.

meshes/actors/character/character assets/femalefeet*.nif.

In /Mods/Dimonized UNP Female Body/meshes/actors/character/character assets, rename femalehands*.nif to 1stpersonfemalehands*.nif.

On the right side of your MO click on the data column. Then go to:

Textures> Actors > Character > Female

You can see all the femalebody*.dds files there and see which Mod each of them comes from.

Using the Data tab in MO is a great way to see what mods are supplying the textures, meshes, scripts, etc. you are using.

If you hover over a red Mod entry it will show you all the overwritten mods (still installed in MO) that were providing data for that file.

A couple of questions:

1. In the Tweaks section of the bashed patch can we set the timescale in there to ten instead of doing it in-game via the console?

2. When I go to make the bashed patch it only includes a very small amount of the SR mods. Three to be exact. I've updated BOSS. I have TCIY-BAD Patch, AM-SkyTEST Patch and WAF-ABT Patch. From the message about the SR patches merging I had hoped it would be a greater number of them that would patch. I don't mind making them but when you have a 255 mod limit the idea of merging these guys seems outstanding. Have I done something wrong?

I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong. I'm just getting CTDs when removing the body armor for my character. My femalebody textures are provided by Mature Skin Texture, and the meshes are provided by UNPB. I ran FNIS, and it updated fine. What am I missing?

I once had a similar problem and it was related with bad installation of XP32.

Try disabling it and check if it work. :)

By the way, problem related to textures or meshes doesn't usually result in CTD.

Missing texture are shown in purple and missing meshes are big exclamation mark I think.

Wow, thanks! Disabling XP32 fixed it. So what was your solution to this? Reinstall?

Edit: Reinstalled Xp32, and it works perfectly fine now. Thanks for the help!
