Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

I have the complete version and DLC1 and 2 are in EditorID so I guess it's correct.

There is a 0301C655 node that could correspond. In USKP DB it says: Waterwalking. If you wear any four Relics of Ahzidal, +<10>% Enchanting.

And WAF says: Waterwalking. If you wear any four Relics of Ahzidal, +10 Enchanting.

Seems to be the same with 0301AEA4 node instead of 0401AEA4. Could it be just a typo?

Hm might be actually when I think about it, 00 is Skyrim.esm, 01 is Update.esm, 02 Dawnguard.esm and 03 Dragonborn.esm (as it shouldn't load Hearthfire.esm). Not at home to check though

I don't have Hearthfire DLC, I guess if anyone follow the guide and check every USKP TES5Edit might load Hearthfire.esm. Maybe that's why IDs are different?

If it's the case that could be a problem since I don't think many people bought all the DLC.

Well the SR guide is based on having all DLCs so that does explain the "issue" then. :)

And honestly, everyone I know that plays Skyrim have all DLCs since they've been on sale for stupidly low prices (I picked up HF for $2 for example). And with legendary version coming any newcomers will have all DLC as well

Ok good to know.

Yeah I know... But the idea of going through all my mod to find which one needs an update for Heartfire really demotivate me :)

But I thought the same for Dawnguard and Dragonborn so I guess I'll just wait for the next Steam sales.

For now I'll just have to pay a little more attention.

Thank you.

Neo' date=' as per MO, [i']CBBE Tsun Female Armo[/i]r becomes redundant with the addition of UNP-UNPB Conversion of The CBBE Tsun Female Armor.

The CBBE one is still needed?

EDIT: Also with the addition of Dawnguard Rewritten Arvak - Convenient Alsvid Patch the load order of Bellyaches HD Dragon Replacer Pack has been altered placing it first in this section.

Was the deliberate, as it was not mentioned in the changelog?

CBBE contains the bra texture. Reorder was deliberate but no functional change... just alphabetical order.
Then it maybe that the wrong version is indicated in the guide. Because v.1.0 of CBBE Tsun Female Armor has only meshes.

Unless I am missing something here.

Me too. CBBE Tsun Female Armor was completely overwritten by UNP-UNPB Conversion of The CBBE Tsun Female Armor. So I came here to ask if this was intentional and why CBBE Tsun Female Armor was needed at all, but then I saw you already ask. The only thing I could think of, is perhaps I have the wrong version as the current version is 1.11.

I fixed this, I meant to use the latest version.

I may be missing something, but tn the instructions for SkyTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators, there appears to be a error. The instructions appear to indicate that the following correction should be made to the SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp

Expand "Worldspace">"0000003C">"Block -1,0">"Sub-Block -1,3" and select the "00009292" node.

Drag the "EDID - Editor ID", "MHDT - Unknown", and "XLCN - Location" record from HearthFires.esm to SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators-Dragonborn.esp.

However, the node in question appears to be contained within the SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators-Dragonborn.esp

Hmm, no, pretty sure it IS in Hearthfires.esm. Are you typing in the right FormID)
The records we're moving ARE located in the Hearthfires.esm. However, the guide appears to indicate that we're to find the node we're asked to edit (Worldspace > 000003c > Block -1,0, etc) inside SkyTEST-RealsticAmimals&Predators.esp. In reality, it exists inside SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators-Dragonborn.esp

Or perhaps I'm mistaken. It certainly wouldn't be the first time!

Fixed by adding under ''SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators-Dragonborn.esp'' to the expand block. ;) thanks for pointing it out. Looks like I actually meant to do that but didn't (since it's moved to the bottom).

I was wondering if there is anything in consideration for dealing with the z-fighting problem.  I searched the forum a bit and noticed someone using YAENB to help. Depth of Field also helps, but the way that the star field pops in and out of focus every time I look up or down past the horizon line bugged me. Plus, all this work to make a beautiful sky and it's blurred out most of the time!  Or perhaps there's a different DOF preset that changes that behavior. I had been using the standard fix with .ini settings that you find around the net but I read in a post here that people recommended to avoid it.

The Z-fighting tweaks works only for skyrim vanilla more or less, since the changes do not take the increased memory use by texture packs into account.

As for ENB DoF´s then that depends on the DoF you use. If you have one where the stars get out of focus when not looking at them, then it is because it is not setup correctly to take the really far distance into account. The one in Realvision should do this as I recall, unless he changed it.

Shouldn't the Multi_Mod Compatibility Patch for WAF be after ASW-GDO patch? The latter seems to be undoing many of the changes the former made.

In fact, the patch shouldn't be made at all - the multi-mod patch merges changes to both mods anyway.

If I want to completely uninstall AV and their corresponding packages then i need to do the following?

  • Remove AV and all corresponding packages from MO.
  • Delete all relevant files/folders from "Overwrite" folder in MO.
  • Delete SUM.esp from from "Overwrite" folder in MO.
  • Delete SKyProc folder from F:\User\Documents\My Games\Skyrim (this is where the save folder is and skyrim.ini, skyrimprefs.ini)
  • Remove SUM from MO load order
  • Create executable in MO for Dual Seath Redux.jar
  • Run the DSR through MO.
Am I forgetting anything guys?

Thanks!

Is Realistic Crime Radius still necessary? Maybe because I'm using Stealth Skills Rebalanced it looks like its values are overwritten but doesn't Duel also do this?

Atleast if you use bashed patch it's not necessary, as you can set up the patch to set crime radius to 1000 under tweaks

If someone uses ASW/GDO but not WAF then they will need the patch. Will add a note if using WAF multi-mod that its not needed.

With todays edits and addition of Wrye Bash back into the guide I'm down to 214 esps in SR. Yay! :)

Wiggle room to add all the new stuff I want. Coming soon:

Armor

Perks

Weapons

(Yes, I realize I could get that number even farther down, but trying to keep it simple for as long as possible)

a) I have a CTD issue with UNP mods, same as I found earlier on the thread posted by justjr. Any time I try to change or remove armor or clothes from a female character the game does an instant CTD. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling anything related to UNP and running FNIS but so far nothing works.Only solution atm is to completely disable all UNP related mods...If anyone has an idea what I'm doing wrong, let me know.It used to work perfectly when I initially installed Skyrim Revisited, and then I decided to check out diferent options and change a few, that's when CTDs started.

b) another issue I have is regarding Troublemaker's clothing and frosworn armor for UNP, before I started experiencing CTD issues mentioned above (while everything worked fine) I would get a CTD any time troublemaker's clothing was supposed to load, like entering Whiterun, or trying the Alternate Start Forsworn with a female character. Disabling the Troublemaker's clothes and armor stopped the CTD issues.
