Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Have anyone constant CTD like me with latest xp32 skeletons if PC is female or if there is female NPC in same cell? Oh, 1.7b already. I tried 1.7.1

PS. Of course, I regenerated FNIS-for-users after installing.

I'm currently using 1.7.1, but I did not play much with it installed - maybe 30 minutes, not longer. No issues though.

hmm, strange. maybe I have some animations in install that try to use deleted nodes...

Yes, same here, rolled back to 1.6d + Chesko Quivers which works fine.

Can also report no issues with new skeleton all works very smoothly.

EDIT: Ok cancel that there are some problems. 1H swords not shown on back and only 1 sword shown on hip if 2 are equipped. Also in 3rd person only one of 2 swords is shown in hand whereas there are two in first person.

There seems to be an error in carrying on DLC changes to SkyTEST mod

Expand "Worldspace">"0000003C">"Block -1,-1">"Sub-Block -1,-3" under SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators-Dragonborn.esp and select the "00009BF7" node.

Drag the "EDID - Editor ID", "MHDT - Unknown", and "XLCN - Location" record from HearthFires.esm to SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators-Dragonborn.esp.

I'm unable to find this record.

Someone else mentioned this a few pages back, it looks like the mod might have had a silent update which cleaned this particular entry.
Hm, yeah, weird. I'm unable to find the record as well.
After re-download and re-installing this node (9BF7) is cleaned using TES5Edit. Removing the note from the guide.

Xp32 skeleton options say to use chesko's which includes belt quiver and associated anims.

I am still at a loss. It seems anytime the XP32 skeleton, Dual Sheath, or Immersive Animations are updated and I think I am following the instructions precisely, nothing works as it should. With a prior update, I had my character sheathing his sword on his hip and then popping onto the back. With the new XP32 skeleton, the animations show putting sword and shield on the back, but both disappear and there is a sheath for the sword on the hip. The instructions and not idiot proof. I am missing something, but I do not know what. The changes are applied to a virgin save untouched by any mods. The instructions state:

Optionals(Via Installer): Skeleton Rig Map, Vanilla, Bolts Quiver - Chesko, Back Hip Dagger and Back 1H Sword - Chesko

I tried both fomod and without (I think the installer should be stated if it can cause an issue). No luck. There is nothing about associated anims in the above instructions, but I tried that to, no luck. Somewhere I am missing something. Should I be deleting to overwrite/SkyProc folders? That I haven't tried. However, if that is the case, perhaps it should be made more clear. My initial process was:

1. Using fomod selecting one in each catagory, Skeleton Rig Map (nothing else), Vanilla, Bolts Quiver - Chesko, Back Hip Dagger and Back 1H Sword - Cheske (four things selected total) using replace.

2. Run FNIS.

3. Run Sum.

4. Test.

Please help an idiot. Thanks for all your hard work.

Ever since the AV update when I run SUM I get an error on AV which says "Failure gathering packages back to AV folders" (or something like that) when I run SUM. Other than that it seems to run OK and seems to play OK. Is anyone else getting an error like this? What's the cause? How can it be fixed? IS it doing any harm?

Seems the author of Duel found that review and took things way too harsh and has hidden the file, just after releasing another patch.. The last line of the review was way too harsh, but I'll never understand why so many modders choose to do this when critiqued

Just noticed that too, luckily I had just finished downloading... I sent him a PM of support...(for putting his mod back up).

Sadly I didn't as I just saw it was updated on my phone, read what was fixed and then went over to computer to DL and it was hidden. While I do believe that the review brings up a lot of valid points, the mod still does many things right and I enjoyed the combat it brought. Will send a pm as well for support, and will take the time to try out Ultimate Combat some most likely

Seems like it's often an attempt to turn the fans against the critic, but really it just tends to turn the fans against the author I think.
